Yeh iv got kids already too and I remember feeling quite crappy really quickly . I felt dizzy alot , and couldn't go into any shops because for some reason as soon as I did I felt faint lol. Yes you're right should just enjoy feeling ok lol. Will post another update once iv taken a frer or digital

@Tartanhaggis not noticed much cm at all. Last time I was pregnant I got symptoms pretty soon after my bfp, however, that time I didn't test until I was 5 days late so would have been almost another week further on than I am now. Guess we should just enjoy feeling well while we can.

Well backache and on off dull pains and the odd sharp seldom pain in period pain type area . Usually I only get backache a few days before I'm due AF but this time iv had it since 3dpo and it's not went away. Sorry I keep sending two messages I keep forgetting to add bits. I'm conscious of filling up the thread 😬.

@Skyla sorry for personal question but did you get increased cm early on (10dpo ISH) I don't have that either 😳

Oh I didn't realise you'd had a bfp aswell congrats xx it's good to know you don't feel any different either. I'd rather feel queasy every so often or something so I know for sure lol.

Backache is the only thing I can report and I feel warm but only warm in the face area not body. I know I sound like a weirdo 🤣. I still think my tests are wrong but IL try grab a decent one tomorrow and see 🤞. Thanks for the congrats to the others who posted 🥰.

@Tartanhaggis I felt the same- why did I test a bit early?! I've stopped testing now. Just over 5 weeks but no symptoms yet really so don't feel pregnant at all. Quite a strange feeling.

Can I join? Finally got my BFP after 14 months of TTC (had a chemical 8 months ago) Was starting to go though some investigations and was due a HSG this week which I am delighted to now cancel. I really was starting to lose hope and feel really sad.

I think main issue is I don't really feel different . I won't believe it until I see the words either. I keep picking today's one up thinking iv just imagined it. Will need to move on to a frer now. Iv had so many faint lines on my journey that I know I shouldn't of even tested till later but too impatient 🙄lol

@Tartanhaggis congratulations!! This is what mine were like too..still quite faint although I did a pregnancy test on the clearblue monitor this morning and it came up “pregnant” so I’m delighted seeing it in actual writing haha. Ordered 2 clearblue digitalis to do one later in the week and possibly the week after to ensure there’s progression 🥰

@Tartanhaggis I had the exact same with my first few tests- a line but a faint one. I wasn't entirely happy until I got a stronger red line. However I do think that yours is positive! Might need another 48hr to get stronger though.

There's a slightly clearer pic of the line. Would you believe this test if it was yours ?

Today's test. Still don't know whether it's too light if a line to believe it. Think I'm supposed to be 10dpo at the moment but not 100% on that .

@Dee51121 i would definitely try OPKs, I find them helpful particularly as we are not a couple who religiously have sex every day / every other day anyway. There's some helpful guidance out there that tells you when to start OPK testing based on your cycle length. Generally I would:

• start around CD 9/10 for a 28 day cycle
• use SMU or afternoon urine
• use cheap test strips like easy@home and test 2 times a day in case you have a short and sharp peak you miss
• input your data into the Premom app (free and basically does all the interpretation of strips legwork for you)

I used clear blue advanced digital OPKs for TTC my first, this time I tried the easy@home and really liked them. I did use clear blue at same time to check if they matched up and they largely were in sync give or take half a day!

I've been lurking on these posts over the last month, first time posting.

TTC for the first time last month, but been off the pill since end of last year and tracking my cycle (took about three or so months to regulate) averages 29 days. Assumed it wouldn't happen on first attempt, so was gearing up for trying again this month and thinking of using OPK for the first time. I was due my period Mon/Tue - I think it did come but it wasn't at all like it normally is, was super light and lasted barely three days. I started to wonder if it was implantation bleed as it was a light pinky/brown, but I've tried a couple of tests and they're negative. Feel very confused now as worrying I didn't ovulate. It's just annoying as this has never happened to me before - I assume it's just coincidence but can't help feel it's connected to TTC for the first time.

Any advice, if I go down the OPK route do I start testing straight away?

@Tartanhaggis snap! I have had a deep ache in my back and uterus for 24hrs now and it doesnt feel like a PMS cramping. Just like a have a bad back but very low down radiating to the front as well as my pelvis to. I experinced this with LO around 5-6 weeks. Bot had it as PMS before ever.

Of course the heat woke me at 1am and I am wide awake still at 6am. I am 10DPO so tested at 3am I couldn't hold it any longer and BFN but no proper light to see it anyway! I know it's very early still. Can I wait 2/4days - Nope I doubt it.

@ReginaPhalange12 sorry to sound repetitive the Fertility Dr I spoke to said it could happen within hours up to 48hrs.

Inkmow this heat is horrid but try cover all the days DTD

@peonym omg yes I jadnt even thought about this! Fan right next to you. It is so horrid tonight my LO.jas woken up for water twice and I can't sleep.

Luckily missed heat wave for fertile week I am 10DPO today.

Is that on a CB test? The day after a static is ovulation so the day after that (Monday) will be 1 DPO from what other people have told me!

Hey ladies. Sorry I was here for the start of this post then life took over a little! Just on either O day or 1DPO and honestly TTC in that heat with a toddler running about constantly was NOT fun this week lol. We are exhausted!

We just literally managed to DTD today and missed peak yesterday which is frustrating but we aren't sex every day people anyway so it was a lot! Hope we didn't miss our mark this time around. Soooo ready for this to be our last cycle TTC baby #2!

Congrats on all the BFPs to date and commiserations to the gals out already - all the best for next cycle.

Further to my prior post with the test,I really don't think I'm pregnant probably because iv been trying so long it now seems impossible. literally the only symptom I have are these pains and backache . And the faint line I had. Iv had faint lines before though. Just this one is a tiny bit more noticeable than the ones iv had before that nobody else could see lol.. iv No extra cm or anything. I feel like I'd have the cm if I was at least. Have any of you had a pregnancy where you didnt get increased cm before your bfp? My brain is doing the "what if" thing. The pains are a bit different feeling to normal menstrual pain but this could be my mind again . 🤯 i really tried not to symptom spot but I'm at it again 🙈. Does anyone ever manage to not symptom spot. If so you need to teach how lol

Is it pulling pains that are more noticeable when you move around. Or does period pain do that aswell. I can't remember whether period pain hurts more when you move a certain way. You wouldn't think Iv had periods for 25 years would you 🤣
