Hello all me and my partner have been trying to conceive for over 2 years I’m only 23 but he is in his 30s I have had my bloods done to check my hormones and it is “normal” and he has done a sperm test at home and has come back normal .
I know people have been trying for a lot longer but personally for me it’s making me depressed as my partner is older then me , my cycles are quite irregular 25-40 days I will end up going and seeing the doctor again just wanted to see what helped any of yous in the meantime
thankyou xx

Understanding my body by tracking BBT and cervical mucous. I used the groove app and there's some great info on their website readytogroove.com. I originally started using it as thought I might have PCOS and they have example charts which show you what PCOS cycles look like. They also have pictures of the different types of CM which I found really helpful!

Tracking ovulation using tests is the only thing that has worked.

IVF the first time despite various normal test results and trying all the what helped you conceive recommendations.
The second time feeling guilty after being a clown under the influence of red wine the previous weekend.

No rhyme or reason to fertility in my experience despite what you might try.

Relax, have fun and I would say, have a drink. Try to forget about conceiving.
Buy an expensive new car that you couldn’t put babies in or get a new job or a dog. That’s when people I know got pregnant.

Some basics for the both of you:
Healthy weight
No alcohol
No smoking

For you:
Normal thyroid function

For me personally, I conceived the first month I stopped swimming regularly. I couldn’t find any evidence linking chlorine/regular swimming with it, so likely a coincidence but just mentioning in case you are an avid swimmer.
