@DuchessofSuffolk his name is now being changed and I'm suddenly single 💔 he cheated on me Friday night. He left for work yesterday morning and I went to my mums for dinner. Came home and all his stuff is gone. Men are pieces of shit 💔😓

Oh don’t listen to them! What is the name?
my partner and I haven’t done any fund stuff yet. Mainly practical stuff. Baby is already registered for a nursery - there was a free registration offer so I thought why not! Get I. There early as it’s the only
provider in the town that opens term time and does a full day as I’m hoping g to go back part time but for full days

@CAGH03 Hahha well you're doing all the hard work soooo 😉 Unfortunately not, everything I like is similar to my son's name. I think I really have a name type!? 😅 My husband says he likes a name, then dislikes it a few months later 🙈 I have about 10 girls names too! My name was quite uncommon growing up and I loved that, but it's hard to be original these days!

I had so many girls names!! But would really struggle with boy names if we hadn't already decided one! What's your sons name? If you don't mind me asking💙 the name we've chosen isn't very popular and think it's quite old but everyone we've told the name to , apart from his parents, have disliked the name x

@CAGH03 I love gender neutral names! 😍 Maybe keep both names as an option and just wait until you meet him 🥰 We can't agree on a name hahaha. Xx

That's exactly what I want to do and the gender neutral name could be his middle name but my partner isn't having it🤣 have you got any name ideas yet?💙

@CAGH03 Congratulations!! Boys are just so loving 😍 how are you getting on with names? 😅 I find boys names soooo hard. Xx

We've always had a name, which would work with bother genders and we've always said we will name our first baby this name. But now I'm second guessing it and have fallen in love with the name George; which is my middle name. But my partner got really upset and said we're keeping the name we chose as it was his grandads name and baby boy is due the day after what was his grandads birthday💙 I'm so excited to have a baby boy🥰💙x

Booking scan was fine! Midwife was lovely. BMI was actually fine and not over 25 like I thought. She couldn’t get blood from me tho and had to go through my hand! Just waiting for 12 week scan now! Want to see baby on screen. I too have an inkling I’m having a boy but would love a girl! My mum thought it was a boy when she was preggers with me 😂😂 there are loads of boys in my fam so a girl would be nice.

let us know what bean is @CAGH03

Awh congrats! The midwives I have are so nice and the booking scan for me was just lots of questions and a quick health check up, I hope you get your scan date soon! Honestly it's the best thing to experience! Although I didn't get to see or hear the heartbeat but I got that at my 16 week midwife app on Tuesday! I'll update the thread later on when we know! I'm so excited! Do you think I would need to take my notes with me just incase? x

@CAGH03 Oh wow!! My gut has always been right. Early on with my toddler I wanted a girl (I actually feel guilty saying that) but knew in my heart soon after it was a boy. I remember laughing so much when I found out because I knew he'd be mischievous like his Dad was as a kid and he totally is. So if it is a boy, know they are so loving and wonderful! Now I'm just a boy mum. We're 95% sure we saw a boy at our 20 week scan and I think I'd cry if it was a girl because I'm so set on being a boy mum. How times change!

I think it makes sense to be really sensible this Christmas, babies are so expensive. But Facebook marketplace is incredible. And there are tons of competitions on Instagram to win baby things. My friend recently won a pram for me as I wanted a new one 😅xx

Aw! That's really reassuring as I really think it's a girl! But my mum said she loved having 2 boys as well as me as they're really loving as babies/toddlers. I'm just so excited to be able to say he or she instead of them🥲
I've got a few Xmas things done but not spending lots this year, would rather spend it on bean🥰

@LeopardLover I have had a gut feeling it's a girl, since the day we found out! We both want a girl but my partner thinks it's a boy! I had a dream last night it's a boy too, but really hoping for a girl! As long as they're healthy I don't mind either way🤍
The only Christmas shopping I've done so far is some for my partner as I've been so busy I forgot it's almost Christmas! And my birthday is 5 days before too, so need to get my twin brother an extra gift aswell🥲 trying to not spend too much this year due to bean❤️

@DuchessofSuffolk How was your booking appointment? 😊 Things are a bit different in my trust I actually had my scan before my booking appointment this time 🙈 so at 11+6 I think! Or 11+5. But with my son it was more like... 13 weeks I think. I actually preferred the later scan, I had a scare with this one because of a potential gut herniation but it was just because I was scanned a little early and resolved itself. Might have happened with my toddler too but we never knew as the scan was later. I always measure ahead too because I make big babies!

@CAGH03 How exciting! Do you have an inkling? My husband couldn't join my scan with my toddler because of COVID so we did a private gender scan too! Also, I've been Christmas shopping since September. Just waiting for payday to finish everything off 🤣

@emmatcc1 how are you getting on? X

I’m very lucky it’s been quite pleasant. Do you know if they will give me a date for our 12 weeks scan app at the end of the booking app?

We had our booking appointment at 9+1 but didn't get our scan date until 11+3 and had it at 11+6, they took forever to give us a date and then left it so late, my fiancé couldn't get the time off of work🥲 so super happy he can come to the private one tomorrow!🤍

Hi everyone! I'm 16+2 today and have a private gender scan tomorrow afternoon!! Super excited to find out what we're having!
Has anyone started Xmas shopping yet? I've barely started so getting most of it done this week while I have the money🥲x

@CAGH03 How are you? 24 weeks here!

@DuchessofSuffolk how exciting! 💙 So pleased you're having a nice first trimester. It starts to get real after the booking appointment.

DuchessofSuffolk · 20/11/2023 06:18

Hiiii @CAGH03 and all
9 weeks tomorrow and will be having my booking scan. I feel fine at present - my boobs really hurt and by about half 7 I’m ready for bed but that’s about it. No sickness yet which I’m grateful for as I’m rubbish at feeling sick. We still haven’t told anyone yet. We’re waiting for Xmas!
