Hi ladies
Lets join the party for all Aug ttc girls

So I was using wondfu opk and saw the line getting darker over a few days. Then the clearblue digital showed a flashing smiley 2 days ago along with wondfu opk showing a darker line but not as dark as the test line.
Yesterday I got a flashing smiley again but wondfu opk line was very very faint!!! How could that be. I tried again later in the day and same thing. Did I miss the surge???

@theodora2146 Aww congrats! I drank a lot the week before I found out I was having my son and he's turned out fine so I wouldn't worry about it :)

theodora2146 · 18/08/2023 04:54

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing well!

So my cycle messed up this month so I assumed I was out. I've just got back off holiday and haven't been feeling quite right so I took a test and got a BFP 😮 which I was not expecting!

I'm now worried because I've been on holiday and drunk lots of wine and cocktails 😩 I'm worried it's not gonna stick now!

ReginaPhalange12 · 17/08/2023 22:45

@TheBirdintheCave I hope so 🤞🏽 it's so strange, I'm usually really regular with ovulating, I get pains too but nothing so far

HopefullMumto4 · 17/08/2023 22:28

@MrsHousePlant I use both! Strip tests from cd7 twice a day and CB Digi from cd9 because I ovulate all over the place anywhere from cd13 to CD18!

xxcxdonxx · 17/08/2023 22:18

@MrsHousePlant ive always used the strip tests and never had any bother with them, good luck!!

RosiePH · 17/08/2023 17:57

Thank you! Sending all the luck to you too (and everyone else on this journey).

MrsHousePlant · 17/08/2023 17:26

I’ve started spotting today so hopefully AF tomorrow and back to CD1 so we can go again. I can’t believe this is now something to celebrate 😂

Going to properly track ovulation this month, do people recommend the CB test with the smiley face or the smaller strips?

Wannabemummma · 17/08/2023 16:18

Oh no! We completely missed it last month as I must have ovulated a good week earlier as I never got a positive ovulation test around when I’d normally ovulate. I still dont get what happened.. is it possible to have different cycles depending on the ovary?

but…. We did get pregnant last time only doing it the once! I was away and we did it that night with success!

TheBirdintheCave · 17/08/2023 11:08

@ReginaPhalange12 Oh I hate when that happens :( Hopefully that once was enough!

ReginaPhalange12 · 17/08/2023 10:57

Thank you @HopefullMumto4

I appear to be ovulating 3 days early 😩 we've only DTD once because I thought we had more time

Accidentally joining! Planned to start ttc in November after our wedding and had a joint moment of madness/enthusiasm and decided to give it a try on ovulation day as we can still clear 12 weeks till our wedding day…!

Now both excited and also slightly terrified that it will have happened first go and I might have morning sickness on my wedding day.

It’s only been a few days and I’m already convinced I feel sick and my normally poor sense of smell is suddenly phenomenally good hahaha.

Oh how exciting would that be! Good luck 🍀🍀

@TheBirdintheCave thank you, I hadn't realised, I thought they were supposed to be one of the most reliable ones around.

@Peony2021 thank you. Hoping you get your BFP over the next few days.

Apparently the boots own brand pink dye tests are really good! I haven't tried them yet though.

HopefullMumto4 · 16/08/2023 17:41

I'm sure I can see a little something there too 🫣

Will you test again tomorrow or wait a few days now?

Peony2021 · 16/08/2023 16:00

@HopefullMumto4 sorry I force myself to Chuck them in the bin so I don't spend hours staring at them all day long convincing myself the dried in line was there at 3 minutes lol. I just did a PM one there but I don't see anything this time 🤷🏻‍♀️

@ReginaPhalange12 I get them off Amazon, they were out of stock for ages (I think because of so many complaints about their indents) but I can get next day delivery in UK of them no problem.

Hi everyone, I joined this last time we were trying and we were successful on our 3rd cycle but here I am 5 cycles in and still struggling with conceiving our 2nd. I’m still breastfeeding my 28mo and have had recurring thrush so think these could be causing a problem but am doing what I can to deal with them and I’m hopeful every month! Currently 6DPO and patiently waiting! Good luck everyone

TheBirdintheCave · 16/08/2023 14:21

@ReginaPhalange12 FRERs are discontinued in the UK unfortunately, hence their rarity now.

ReginaPhalange12 · 16/08/2023 14:06

That's exciting @Peony2021 fingers crossed it was a line. Where did you get the FRER from? I'm having so much trouble finding any.

CD11 for me, my peak is usually CD14 with a 24 day cycle so a short - ish LP, tested with an OPK a couple of hours ago and it's quite dark although not peak, I'm hoping I don't get my peak for a few days because I'm going away for a few days this evening and will be sharing a room with DC 🤷🏽‍♀️

Peony2021 · 16/08/2023 13:09

Hey all, hope everyone hanging in there ok.

8DPO today, and I'm a serial tester so tested this morning. Could convince myself I see something but fairly certain it's just an indent. Going to use a FRER tomorrow if it arrives on time lol.

Show us! Show us!

MrsHousePlant · 16/08/2023 08:12

CD 27 today. I have an average cycle length of 25 days. Got annoyed yesterday afternoon and tested but BFN on a boots test, not even a hint of a line. Have never wished AF to arrive so much so that I can move on with the next month of trying.

Aris23 · 15/08/2023 21:11

My luteal phase was also only 10/11 days but I conceived my first quite quickly and it was a perfectly normal pregnancy :)

Aris23 · 15/08/2023 21:04

Exactly the same cycle 3 ttc 2. So sorry about your chemical. Hoping this next cycle is the one for you!
