Hi girls!! I am now CYCLE DAY 10. Is anyone on a similar point with me who wants to be a cycle buddy? I am following SMEP. Would be fab to start a WhatsApp group or a thread on here where we can support each other to those 2 lines 💕💕

I just googled it, it basically seems like having lots of sec around your fertile days and using OPKs, last time I got pregnant the first month of using Clear Blue ovulation sticks so fingers crossed!

I am 7dpo today, I took a random cheap test in the middle of the day!! I said I wasn't going to test!!!!!
Feeling silly now as obviously it was negative!!! 😩

Also, we did SMEP this cycle but not sure how many cycles we will manage to keep that up for if not lucky this time. It really felt like a full time job in itself by the end🤣

Hi everyone! I’m currently TTC#1, currently CD20 and from OPK’s (and a strange pain/stitch feeling) believe I ovulated on Wednesday so around 3DPO today. Going to try my best to hold out on testing until around the 14th/15th, which shouldn’t be too hard as both me and DP are away with work for chunks of next week so should be plenty to keep my mind occupied until I can test!🤞🏻

@ginny93 got my negative 2 weeks post surgery - I definitely tested too soon and got that pang of disappointment but it was also useful to see the lines getting lighter as it was proof I was getting back to normal (which to me meant being able to try again!). And yesterday I got a flashing smiley the day after my negative test so looks like my body is resetting x

@naggy095 technically the bleed after a MC isn't a period, but I'm counting it as CD1 because I have nothing else to go on! I'm expecting this "cycle" to be long and a bit all over the place though.

Some drs/midwives advise you to wait for a "real" period before trying again so your dates will be more accurate, but I think that's a preference thing.

@Lilpop90 /@moosey89 are you still waiting for negative tests? I'm 2 days post surgical management of MMC and already itching to test 🙈

@Lilpop90 I was literally just reading this on the flo app chat Board, lots of faint positives at 8 days!
Is anyone going to start testing?
I think I'm 6dpo so still holding off but if I start seeing positives earlier on this thread I'm not sure I can hold off till 14 days!!!!

Hi everyone, I've had an early mmc and just waiting for the bleeding to start so I'll be ttc again this month 💕 does anyone know if the first day I start bleeding is counted as CD1 or do I need to wait for a cycle?

@Huriya I haven't followed the SMEP method so not the best for advice!

We just DTD as often as I can get DP to during that fertile window but nearly always evening/night time!

@babano2 I was thinking to do the SMEP method. Im TTC for my first baby, I wanted to ask you a TMI question (i hope you dont mind). With the SMEP do we need to dtd at a specific time like morning/evening or is it anytime during the days that youre meant to baby dance on. My hubby has to wakeup at 6am for work so trying to see how we can manage all that hard work lol 😁

I’m on cycle day 7 and starting SMEP as of tomorrow! Successfully conceived my 9 month old 1st month using this plan so praying it will work again this time!🤞🏽🤞🏽
