@Boobag ah okay.. it does seem very frustrating! I would just keep dtd every other day to make sure you’ve covered it this month in case you did miss it or in case you ovulate a bit later! Fingers crossed for you!

@@HelloMoon87 I think I’d like to be offered ovulation meds first clomid or letrozole etc but not guaranteed to be offered either 🥺
lots of people say worth a try - I’m so nervous so I will weigh up the options, really not looking forward to it all. But it does keep my mind busy to just process and go through the motions 🤭

@longingtobe23 yeah I was convinced I was pregnant last cycle. I hope you get bfp next 2 months but regardless, it's great you have everything happening in parallel. Do you have to do anything special in the run-up to ivf?

@HelloMoon87 thanks, I’ve had a bit of a slow day pampered and will probs have a nice drink tonight and a movie 😅
I’ll keep testing until she shows but I think I’ll know my answer by Saturday

I was fully convinced this was my time - but alas I’ve started asking questions in the IVF/ infertility chats now 🥰

@HelloMoon87 yes in the past I've always stopped at peak day but it seems the day or so after are still fair game!

@BlossomTree123 I have been hearing of evaps on clearblue, frer and easyhome for the past month on many threads. One reason why I caved with frer today was just to see if there was a slightly stronger line there, because it's still a shadow on easyhome. The only way to know is time unfortunately. I know for sure I couldn't even have had an indent on dpo 9, it was literally the tiniest shadow on dpo 10 fmu

it’s hard to tell what my cycle is like as I have only been using opk for 3 cycles, first one I used the clear blue pink 2 day opk and had 7 flashes and peak day 8 but was on very light period when that happened (2nd natural cycle since off the pill) Then last month had static smile right away on cycle day 10

This month I started testing morning 8/9 and around 4/5 (one day I did test at 12pm as I thought it was later lol) so maybe there’s still a chance I’ve missed it. Currently cycle day 19 and still flashy today. Think I’m just going to hope I’ve missed it and carry on smep in case until period comes. Maybe it’s still too early after stopping pill (stopped in may)

I think I might research temping and try that next cycle if it defo doesn’t happen this time around.

Has anyone ever experienced an evap on a FRER?

all these positives tests made me think sod it im doing one, did a clear blue and could see the faintest line like so faint, so thought maybe it’s an evap, did a FRER and def have a faint line it’s so so faint though that I’m thinking evap?? But I am only 9DPO so I need to wait until Sat/sun to test really! But have a stash so thought sod it

@SnookyPook that makes sense, I also felt like I need to come off Mumsnet if this cycle didn't work. But it is literally the only thing available at dpo 1 where I can be myself and not be judged for being too crazy 🤣 keep in touch, I'm around

@HelloMoon87 thank you. I don't think so really. It's just a numbers game isn't it. We're quite good at timing dtd I think and hopefully both pretty healthy etc. We have one DS and did manage to get pregnant earlier in the year even though it didn't end well... so just got to keep hoping and believing that our rainbow baby is close by. I think I might come off MN for a while though as feel like I'm in my head about it all a bit too much. I think that's what I will do differently this cycle! (I'll probably be back tomorrow 😂)

Really hope these whiffs of BFPs progress nicely for you all! It sure seems an exciting thread!! Good luck everyone 😊

@SnookyPook 😭 I am so sorry AF is here... So unfair 😔 will you be doing anything different next cycle? I hate that it's a lottery, I wish I could just know at dpo 1.

@GinAndBearIt90 wow! Congrats! It really is so lovely to see 1 dtd leading to the most chilled bfp. I did the complete opposite of this this month, because everyone seems to be doing SMEP, but nice to see it is possible. I wish I was chilled 😂

Ahhh this thread is so exciting! 😍So happy for you all.

I'm now 1dpo - had my static CB smiley two days ago. We bd on two days before peak, day before peak and peak day but not on ovulation day so we'll see what happens.

Anyone else still in TWW?

Unfortunately the good luck on this thread hasn't rubbed off on me. AF arrived at midday. 😩 3 1/2 days late. Just long enough to have me starting to get a bit hopeful over the last two days. Took a test this morning and was well into 'expecting a second line' territory so was a bit of a gut punch when it was completely negative but at least meant I could mentally prepare for AF a little bit. Feeling pretty despondent right now. Hey ho. Back to CD1. If I'd not had the MMC I'd only be two months off my due date month 😔 Feeling quite low just now. Need to pick myself up, dust myself off and get back on it.

@HelloMoon87 last month was 10 day luteal phase. That was the first I tracked, but from what I've seen it sounds like that doesn't vary as much between cycles. So if no period by Saturday, that will be 11dpo and I might test then at earliest.

I ovulated quite a few days later this month, based on opks and also bbt.

@HelloMoon87 aw wow!! That’s a dark line yay!! Congrats!! 🥹💖 I believe I ovulated my right side it was really uncomfortable this month. Also had right side twinges at 6dpo!

@GinAndBearIt90 ooo keep us updated!! 🤞🏼gosh I don’t know how you wait until birth, Im so impatient. I found out my last was a boy at 13+6😂no denying it! So I’d love to have a boy again. 🥹
