Trying to conceive #2 now for 2 months made even more complicated by the fact that I haven’t had a period since having my 21 month old due to breastfeeding but have completely stopped a few weeks ago so hopefully that should kick start ovulation.
Been having positive OPKs and ovulation symptoms but nothing yet.

I had my peak on opk yesterday. Had EWCM for the last couple of days and a slight pain around my right ovary on Tuesday so no idea when I would have actually ovulated. DH hasn't been in the mood either so haven't dtd for the last two days. I think we may be out based on timings but who knows

Hi - can I join too please? I’m TTC #2 and am on cycle 5, 2dpo. I have a 2 and a half year old daughter who took 6 cycles to conceive. Much more tiring and difficult to find the time to dtd this time around!

Thanks @deliwoman1 AF turned up last night. I may get some ovulation sticks as looks like I had a 30 day cycle. No idea what's going on. 😕

@deliwoman1 10DPO today, still no AF but it usually happens late evening for me since I had DC, before that it was like clockwork, always around 10am. I'm having very watery CM, I obviously had to read up on it & it's either early pregnancy OR the start of AF 😂 really helpful.

@PerfectPairOfPlums BFNs all the way and to add insult to injury AF showed a day early! At least I’m CD1 again and didn’t have to wait 🤷🏽‍♀️

@2020newbie I had no idea about UTIs either. I’m sorry. That’s cruel.

@ReginaPhalange12 oh no! It seems we’re an unlucky bunch this month. ☹️That said, 9DPO is still early isn’t it, even if you have a short LP? I’m not sure.

@mumsince2021 I’ve had cramps galore this month but generally AF is less painful, yep. I used to know days and days in advance and now it’s just the day before or day off that I feel it. I stopped bf two months ago but I’m still producing. I hope that doesn’t have an impact 😬

@Bells3032 ah, what I wouldn’t give for a trip to the South of France! That’s a fab distraction to have!

@RedRobyn2021 we went ott last month as it was our first cycle ttc again and we took it as an excuse. 7 times in 5 days. 🙊 It was fun but it got us precisely nowhere! I read somewhere on MN that too much wasn’t a good idea? No idea if that’s true though? Does anyone know?!

@RedRobyn2021 we only managed it 2x this cycle, DH was away for a couple of nights but we managed to DTD the day of my peak and 1 day after. Next cycle we are away during what should be my peak, sharing a room with DC so we'll probably just have to try a couple of days before at home & hope for the best.

Same! DD was getting to the stage where she would wake at 4/5 and even 6 before coming to our room, but lately it's been midnight 😑

It only took as 3 times to conceive DD but we were well rested and a lot less stressed. Also I am still bf DD so I wonder if that might complicate TTC too?

We have dtd 3 times so far this cycle. It's so hard as the 2 year old sleeps with us a lot and I am tired all the time.

How often does everyone have sex?

We have had sex 3 times so far during my "fertile days" but my dd age 2 is sleeping so poorly and we are both just knackered atm

Does anyone else now get zero pain when AF arrives? It happened overnight for me and I was not prepared 😂 fml. Bad enough realising another month of TTC has failed. I'm on cycle 4 now and already fed up 😅 I used to get such bad cramps before having my first so I had plenty of warning.

I'm on quite a casual trying approach right now just DTD when we can every other day after my period ends but not sure if I should ramp up and start ovulation kits or BBT again as I'm not sure if I'm even ovulating. I'm still breastfeeding my son to sleep so just one feed a day but perhaps it might be impacting my fertility 😬 anyone else still doing the odd feed?

my period arrived yesterday. bang on the usual 27 days (my previous one was oddly 23 days) and i am so happy. means i won't be pregnant at my bil's wedding in two weeks. realised that my ovulation day will be bang on his wedding day (prob). Told my husband i'm not gonna chart or time this month. if we have sex then we just don't use protection. but the weddings in the south of france and i am going to be hot and running around with a toddler so not sure how much i am going to be in the mood. but this is the start of our TTC journey. it starts today!

Joining the gang... DD Is 2, and was a wonderful suprise whilst still on contraception (but very much loved). So a bit new to the TTC game. IUD out in June, an initial 9 day AF and then 5 days in early July. If I had a typical 28 day cycle, AF due yesterday. 4 tests all negative (Friday, Monday, Yesterday and today). No idea what to think. I know I need to be patient, times on my side (I'm 30), but want AF so I can start again or a positive test

AF due tomorrow & I'm having lots of cramping tonight, 9DPO today & stark white BFN ☹️

Oh I didn't know that. Sorry to hear it @2020newbie . I had a uti the other month and it threw my cycle way out

Me again. Tested again since and it’s all been negative although I’m only cd22 like I say no idea what’s going on but over the past two days I’ve had a UTI and had antibiotics so who knows what’s going to happen toward the end of the cycle but apparently uti can give false positives so I think that’s what’s happened here.

@deliwoman1 that's a long time to wait. Fingers crossed you get your bfp before that. Have you tested again?

I think I may have ovulated last night so got at least a week before I can test. I am so impatient

I tested this morning and it was negative. I’m still holding out a little bit of hope, but I’ve always tested positive by now, albeit with more sensitive tests.

I had quite a bit of ovulation pain this month so I’m wondering if my cyst is interfering with things. ☹️Plan to follow up with the GP but my Gynae referral isn’t until the end of Feb 😱
