TTC baby #2 - Two week wait

Hi everyone ☺️ We’re trying to conceive baby number two and I’m currently in the two week wait. This is only my first cycle of trying but my little girl was a complete surprise so I’m feeling quite anxious about the whole thing, the whole waiting to test is killing me 🙈 Just wondered if anyone else is in the same boat? I’m about 4dpo according to my app, I haven’t tested for ovulation so not 100% sure but I’m usually pretty regular, due on my period 20th July. Xx

@katie416 Sorry to hear about your bfn 😩 AF is just the worst. But, you can have another go in a couple of weeks 🤞🏻

Thanks for your reply - I’ll see if I can hold on tight til AF due at weekend. It feels like forever and ever and ever!!

12dpo and also BFN 😭 not even a squinter. That’s on Amazon cheapies. I have a FRER being delivered today which I’ll take later cos surely that should show now without needing to use FMU. So gutted, not looking forward to AF arriving Thurs 🥺

@Lollipop96 @Moominmamma321 sorry to hear about your BFN’s ☹️

@FoodFann Not too early but you’re definitely not out yet. I’ve done a lot of googling over the past week or so and apparently you implant between 8-10dpo which is when your body starts producing hcg and it can take upto 48hrs to be at a level where a test can pick it up x

@Lollipop96 sorry to hear you're feeling so low. AF made herself very known last night 🤦🏻‍♀️ still have nausia so not sure what's going on there... think I'll try not to overthink things next month...(easier said than done for sure!)
I'm taking a small positives that I have my SIL's hen party this weekend so at least I don't have to not drink and give the game away immediately 😅
I hope you get your BFP soon x

Well I took an early test this morning and a big fat negative! I knew I was I could feel the symptoms of PMS but part of me had hope.

On to the next month! I’m not sure what more I can do, I’ve changed my diet, taking supplements, ovulation tracking, exercising and even invested in a conception cup! Depleted isn’t the word.

hope you ladies have better news than me ♥️

I am 11dpo (according to flo) 12dpo according you OPK today. I have no symptoms at all. Which is unusual for me by now.
We shall see what next few days bring

@Lollipop96 true that! Never thought I'd be the one taking tests and guessing things before af was due 🙈 felt really annoyed when the test came up negative today. Lord help my DH if this is what I'm like before we actually try 🤣

@Moominmamma321 It's so frustrating isn't it! Last month I really looked into the symptoms and the GP told your symptoms can change any cycle even after not experiencing changes for years! Just strange when it happens when TTC!

Yes good luck to everyone! I'm starting to feel more depleted and insane, annoying!

Still the only symptom I really have is sore swollen boobs and that could just be my period 🤣 roll on Thursday for af’s ETA! I hope I’m not late on if I’m not pregnant just to add to the stress of it all 🙈 I was really hoping it would happen quick again but not seeming like it. Pretty gutted tbh I hope I’m not like this every month till I do eventually catch on cos it’s getting me down! 😂 not down for this Ttc lark! Still hoping for good results for everyone else xxx

@Lollipop96 I know that's the usual, but I had symptoms with my first for a good week or so before bfp (that was a surprise so I wasn't looking for them)... I think that's probably why I'm reading into these ones too much though 🙈 maybe that was a coincidence and I was also ill at the time 😂

@katie416 @naggy095 @Moominmamma321 When I've been reading other threads people tend to get no symptoms before a positive test but you never know at this rate with how our bodies play games!

I have light cramping this morning, even more frustrating because I don't know if its period cramps or not!
I'm 10 DPO but I'm too scared to test just in case it's not what I want to see! So tired of seeing negatives!!

Still BFN this morning too so assuming I'm out. Still weirdly feel pregnant so wondering if it's a CP 🤷🏻‍♀️
Also weirdly the clear blue I used almost looked like it was coming up with a plus line then it disappeared 🤦🏻‍♀️ might use different tests in future...

8dpo today was going to test tomorrow but think I'll wait till 10dpo 😬 I have no symptoms at all this TWW though, last cycle I had loads by 8dpo. I've had some very mild cramping this morning which has stopped now but that's it

Has anyone had their BFP yet? Who still has willpower and is holding off to test? 😂 still very negative here at 11dpo so I think I’m out 🙈x

@FinallyMrsT I'm the same! Bought some with the recommendations but I'm trying to hold off as much as I can but now it's creeping up closer my mind is now starting to be consumed!

@katie416 I bought some boots ones after recommendations on mn but havnt used them yet... dont wana waste them. Yano that gut feeling thag says not yet. Not sure what's happened to FRER on shelves though.

@FinallyMrsT I didn’t know FRER were hard to get hold of but makes sense as I haven’t been able to get one today! Was thinking of ordering off Amazon but bought some from Asda that you’re meant to be able to take 4 days earlier, which I am, still a BFN. Feeling so shite!! 😂 Might have to try the Boots ones x

These ones are supposedly quite good especially as FRER are really difficult to get hold of right now.

I am 10dpo but I'm holding off testing still.
I don't feel like this is my month
So maybe I'm holding off ghe disappointment

Also does anyone use mom med strip tests? Cos that’s what I’m currently using and don’t actually know how good they are. Amazon had mixed reviews. If not, what are you all testing with?

How is everyone? 🥰 I’m 10dpo today done a test with fmu and it was extremely negative 😂 I think I might go & get a FRER and if that’s negative then just wait until my period is due see if it turns up. I’m hoping one of us gets a positive at least 🤞🏼xx

@Moominmamma321 Haha I know everyone is so different with it all! This was my second cycle TTC and previous pregnancies were on 2nd cycle so think I was just expecting the same again. I know that's super unrealistic. Especially as I'm 39 now, my eggs are probs a bit more worn out that last time! ;)

@Pandabumbles might be better for our sanity to not hope then get a nice surprise I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ In the grand scheme of things I know someone who swears she "knew after conception" and someone else who had a cryptic pregnancy... absolutely normal until she was giving birth, including light periods! So who the flip knows 😂

I got a BFN this morning, not even a squinter, think I'm 11dpo. It wasn't a FRER but assuming I'm probably out this month... think I've been imaging symptoms for myself the last few days, as you do! Which is annoying as I wasn't actively tracking this month. Oh well! Will see if AF appears on Tues...

@katie416 it's hard hoping only to be disappointed. But as they say you're not out till your af turns up!

On a lighter note my 3 year old told me today to 'eat something and stop being cranky'...wonder if that's a symptom too 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

@katie416 don’t worry we’ve all been there! This is the hardest part now because you’re so close to knowing but no far away at the same time! Fingers crossed tightly for you!
our minds can play so many tricks!!

we went to our friends gender reveal and we were excited and hopeful our time will come but still find it depleting!
