Hello!

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

@BlossomTree123 yeah I was thinking this too! maybe it is early, maybe my fault from all the obsessing I’ve done this month 😂 I’ve also done a lottt of exercise and yoga this month too, so possibly!! X

@missmae i think mine was def a false positive as BFN on all since! I’ve read the reviews online about them and loads get false positives. So maybe yours is AF earlier than normal??

@BlossomTree123 if they are giving false positives would maybe explain my tests too… wouldn’t explain why I came on earlier than expected tho as that really is unusual for me. But maybe I was stressing too much about this cycle 🤷🏼‍♀️hmmm

i’m alright, I’m putting it down as a chemical… I am bleeding now much heavier than usual. I’m normally a very light bleeder but this is much more! Hey ho, try again in 2 weeks lol!

AF is due today and after the CB confusion I wont test again unless shes not here by tomorrow.

I am so so sorry for those who have just got AF and huge congrats to those who have got their bfps!!!!

I have a tmi question. So normally my cervix is really low about a week before AF and stays that way until she arrives. It's not come down yet and is really high, but still really firm. Did anyone with a bfp have a really hard high cervix??

Another bfn for me this morning and now cramps so I guess I’ll start looking ahead to the next cycle now. I’ve just read about SMEP so I’ll try that next cycle. Does anyone know if you have to wait exactly a year to go to the doctor about fertility or is 12 cycles enough?

So did another one step test and can see the faintest line (on the one I peed on) and then dipped the other from urine in a pot, and the one I dipped in a pot is negative. Including a easy@home and CB test.

so I’m thinking the one step ones are faulty and giving false positives. Ok just going to wait to see if AF arrives now

@BlossomTree123 that definitely looks positive. Do you have any brand tests? My cheap strips and still relatively faint but I have pretty good lines on everything else now!

Did every other day in fertile week but then twice on peak day! Didn't do anything after that xx

@Tes004 thank you! I'm also taking aspirin from day of ovulation, a gynaecologist we saw said it can't hurt and he would recommend so wasn't prescribed but advised. Hope for bfp for you!

@HelloMoon87 that’s a crap way to start Sunday ! Wishing you success next round - I’ve actually gone and purchased clomid ,,, and yes I know I shouldn’t with a dr. Haven’t decided if I’m going to actually try them and still delusional this month hoping to see a 2nd line !

So got this, this morning girls.

took longer than normal for the pink dye to move up the test so I’m second guessing if it’s faulty, (peed on the stick instead of dipping this morning as couldn’t be arsed to clean the tub)

first time I haven’t had to squint for the line, at first I thought it was going to say invalid as could see the line straight away.

however im not convinced I still feel like im coming on, do you know that feeling you get like top of your legs. I have that.

sorry I had missed so many messages, yesterday was a busy day.

@HelloMoon87 - so we DTD Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Pretty sure I ovulated on the Sunday. SMEP actually starts a day earlier than we did and is every other day until you get peak ovulation on the tests (we did everyday as I thought it was that weekend but had run out of tests) and then you are meant to skip a day again after that and do it once last time. So if I’d actually followed the plan I wouldn’t have had to do the Monday if that makes sense.

13DPO and BFN today. Period due on Weds but feeling like I'm out for this cycle but I'll keep testing...definitely up for the new thread!

@HelloMoon87 we DTD every day of my fertile period and days either side (and sometimes twice!), I'm not sure if frequency really makes much of a difference.

@Scarletthoping thank you for sharing 💛 yeah I think that's what I'm going to attempt though I am not sure if my OH is up to it haha, I'll have to do some convincing... What do you mean by not having gap after ovulation? Do you mean you did 7 times over 8 days after ovulation?

@HelloMoon87 - if it helps, we basically did SMEP although didn’t know about this until after. We didn’t have a gap after ovulation so we tried 7 times over an 8 day period. Good luck for your next try ✨

I'm now mapping out my next cycle. I really want an April baby (any cycle baby of course but an April baby would be so so lovely), so I'm going to try to dtd as much as possible, eat healthily, exercise, de-stress (probably book a holiday around ovulation and implantation haha). I also want to use clearblue ovulation predictor because that worked for me well before, as well as my easyhome opks. But I don't want to bbt and do too many high pressured things, I want to just chill and DTD every other day for quite some time to make sure I don't miss ovulation...

@missmae hope you have a good night of sleep, you're doing the best you can. Totally shocking to see a bleed after the good news. With my chemicals, I would see at least few days of positive, so keeping everything crossed.
