Dpo 1, tww keep sane

This thread is exactly what I need right now! I’m only 2dpo and already over thinking every twinge, feeling etc. I fell pregnant with my first easily without testing ovulation and I had no idea how much conceiving actually entails!

Im literally only 2DPO but had an awful headache today and had to have a nap I was so tired so of course I’m Googling those symptoms 😂

@BlossomTree123 ooo how interesting then I do have pcos diagnosed after baby no.1 5 years later I didn’t know as regular cycles and periods - but I have only ever gotten one peak every month so I don’t think it’s a hard and fast rule anyway

it is very difficult to suggest how or why
you could always temp BBT next time to see which could confirm ovulation? But hopefully you won’t need to and see success soon! :)

thank you, no do not have pcos, have regular cycles 28 days. Always been very healthy and as mentioned have a baby no 1 so have had a healthy pregnancy. Just find it so strange with the several peaks and now after days of negative getting a flashy smiley meaning I’m high! So weird.

Hi @Tes004 no never been diagnosed with pcos have have a baby already so have had checks so I’m guessing if I had they would have noticed during pregnancy 1.

@BlossomTree123 I agree with above if pcos can peak a few times or your body can try to ovulate again sometimes?
are your cycles usually regular?
but also find smile CB very frustrating at times - i guess you’ll find out which was true ovulation if you get your BFP :) I would start TWW from latest peak and see what the luteal phase is!

I have heard you can have a few peaks if so and therefore using temps and watching cm changes to pin point better ?? X

@MrsP20202 I have some lower abdomen sensitivity / cramps going on but nothing else to suggest! Boobs always a good one though 🤞🏻

Sorry to jump in but I’m confused!!

So started testing on CD 9 (period finished CD 6.

Using clear blue digital Was negative and then got a still smiley (peak fertility) CD 11.

Kept resting as wanted to know my cycle and tested negative CD 13 so according to that was fertile for the 2 days (but looking at the lines I wasn’t convinced.

CD 14, tested positive static smiley again
CD 16 tested positive static smiley again (lines more convincing as line darker than test line) and also had like jabbing pains which I thought was ovulation.

Tested negative CD 17/18/19

Had a stitch like jabbing pain in CD19 constantly on and off for hours.

Then today CD 21 have a flashing smiley meaning HIGH fertility.

I’m so confused. Has anyone experienced this?? Looked at the lines from todays test and they are dark so would indicate a LH surge like when I tested positive on CD 16.

AF isn’t due until the 20th so way to early to test for pregnancy but I’m well confused!!

@longingtobe23 I have a boots early test which is 10mui and a boots test strip which is 20mui and that's it!!! I know I should just not test for a couple of days and use them then, but I cant help it!!! My pms is so similar to early pregnancy symptoms that even tho I have bloating and sore boobs, that doesn't mean anything at this stage as I get that every month around this time. There is nothing more intense than being in the tww 😭

My static smiley was 1/7 so I think if may have over counted - esp if 12-24 hrs after is ovulation day and it’s the following day you count a 1 dpo

I have ordered some first response ones - off away for a couple of days mid week so that will take my mind off I I hope lol x

@Maybebaby12345 thank youuuu I wish I’d got some better tests in but have spent a fortune in the past I try not to do that anymore, I’ll be going swimming early afterwards so likely be a 6am test!

@longingtobe23 I'm 9dpo tomorrow and I will be testing!!! Although I've never had a bfp that early with previous pregnancies, I just cant help myself. I'll hand hold with you xxx

Anybody 9DPO and testing tomorrow? Hand holding .. I know it’s still very early but I also have blood test at the GP for other reasons so it is tempting to ask them if they can tack on a HCG 🤭

or has anybody had a line that early? I’ve no FRER in just easy@home tests

@missmae sorry that made me laugh 😂 I will test and let everyone know but I no it’s too bloody early I just can’t help it 😆 cramping has started again and sorry for tmi I’m getting tingly down there it’s actually annoying the hell out of me 🤦🏻‍♀️ Oh I hope we all get our bfp!

@bookworm100 i wouldn’t say it hurts hun at all the only time I didn’t try to conceive was with my son and that month we had a lot of Greek parties to attend and let’s say I don’t think I was sober most of that month 😂 now he’s 16 months

@bookworm100 I think a glass of wine won’t do any harm. I think most people continue to drink during the 2WW as long as it’s not excessive. Think of all the women who conceive who aren’t trying they probably do everything we think not to do!😂 I drank during Christmas and new years days before my bfp! Of course online tho it will say to avoid all of those things 🤷🏼‍♀️I think you should be fine!

just realised you’re 8dpo I got confused myself! But yes try testing again tomorrow morning but don’t get disheartened it could all still be too early. Definitely isn’t a bad sign!

@bookworm100 yeah I’ve just researched it myself and there’s mixed answers. It would make sense about the contractions… hmm now I’m anxious again lol. I’m going to put a “do not touch” sign near me.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! Interesting to hear that sperm can help implantation, I've read that orgasm contractions can prevent implantation! This whole TWW thing is such a minefield...starting to wish I didn't track my cycles and didn't know I was in the TWW!
