Hello!

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

Exactly the same here @Tes004 - BFN and temp has dropped slightly. Not yet below the coverline but it looks like AF is on it's way. I'll update if anything changes, otherwise I'll join next month's thread!

@BlossomTree123 - it's not simple to explain how to temp over message. I would buy the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility which explains it really clearly. You can join the group Fertility Awareness Method of Birth Control on Facebook while you're waiting for the book to arrive and to ask questions once you get started.

@Tes004 so with temping do I just take
my temp every morning? And if so from what CD? Yes hate BFN makes you see so low that it isn’t the time this cycle.

@BlossomTree123 I had a temp dip this morning so I guess af should show in the next day or so unless I did ov really late and implantation dip ! Time will tell , I will retest in a bit when I can be bothered to face a stark white test again lol

8/9DPO and I caved and did a CB early detection test and got a BFN. Going to pop to boots today and try and get a pink dye if I can.

@HelloMoon87 Thanks, I’ll probably give the docs a ring whenever my period shows up. Already did a Hertility test a couple months ago and everything was normal apart from my thyroid levels but I already know about that. I don’t know what the nhs test but it might be a long waiting list so I may as well get on it. I’ll definitely join the next thread 😊

@BlossomTree123 wow, 3 static smileys… I’m not sure I trust cb digital hearing that. I might try temping too.

@Tes004 im also due Thursday according to flo. I have been using the CB ovulation digital tests and I don’t know how accurate they are. As I had 3 static smileys this cycle. It really confused me. I want to learn how to temp to do it properly .

Your temp goes up slightly after ovulation and stays up until AF/throughout pregnancy. It can take a couple of days for your temp to rise after ovulation though, and I got my positive OPK and had ovulation pains 2 days before my temp went us so I suspect I am 13DPO (rather than the 11DPO my temperature alone would suggest) x

By my guess work I would be due on Tuesday -Thursday so I’m with you !! No signs of af yet ‘ boobs are something else right now tho

@bookworm100 what do you mean by temp rise ? Do you count differently vs a peak test ? This confuses me - I’m now wondering if I ov later than what I thought - but I had static smile and ewcm then 4 days later temp went up slightly - but had another cheap positive lh test 5 days after with some ewcm with slight brown tinge - like ov bleed - I have pcos sooo never really sure if lh surge is the right one for ovulation x

I'm 11DPO by temp rise, but I'm sure I ovulated earlier than that because of everything else x

I'm also 13DPO today (by opks, CM and pain) but still holding out hope and googling like mad haha. Period due on Wednesday. Will keep you posted!

@missmae I also got AF 1 day earlier which happens rarely. It seems more likely that it was an evap than chemical because usually you'd see quite a few bfps before chemical, and from my experience bleeding starts after AF.

@cosymama2020 I would probably wait to test at least until dpo 10. Dpo 10 is my weak point, I start getting really anxious to test especially if I see others testing and getting bfps haha. But it seems dpo 12 is a good starting point, and I'll try to wait till then next cycle. Fingers crossed for you!

@PuddleSplosher I think if you want you can just tell your doctor you tried a year (12 cycles sounds it was almost a year?) And get started on tests if you want? Do you feel confident you ovulate? Even a simple test like hormones on certain cycle days can put your mind at ease. Feel free to join us next cycle anyway!

@Tes004 urgh sorry you had bfns today. I have heard stories of ovulation few days later and getting bfps later, but if you're sure of ovulation, the chances are slimmer beyond dpo 13... Hope you get some answers soon.

@Maybebaby12345 I've not actually checked cervix. The times I did and was pregnant it seemed low and soft, but I stopped checking after reading that it might lead to infection. Also I feel like I'm never sure if it's really my cervix 😂

@cth96 possibly evap of some sort - wait and retest on a couple of days -
13-14dpo atm and bfn x2 today ! 😢 of course I have gone through old posts to see how late ppl can switch from bfn to bfp - I do have pcos but was sure I ovulated around the 2nd due to cm and smiley - I had a little spotting a few days later which I thought was odd so maybe I could have ovulated a little later but breasts are super sore today and HUGE ! Feel exhausted and mind is busy with thinking about all if this now - af due in the next few days but I always count from ov date +14-17 rather than a cycle day as mine vary so much - but if I’m out I just want to move on to the next one .. any more ppl testing and still hoping for bfp this cycle ?

Hi everyone. Ever had a water mark on a Boots test? I'm not sure it's visible on here but I see something reaaaally faint on my test that looks like a water mark.

Did another one step, the one I did is positive the one above I did with water and negative. But negative on other brands. So had to be a false

@missmae keeps us updated with how you are, I hope you’re okay and that there’s still hope for good news!

I’m 8 dpo today and I feel like I’ve lost all symptoms 😩 I know it’s probably too early to use an early detection CB but I’m itching to see whether it could be there. My common sense is saying to wait - what would you ladies do?
