I have been trying to get a FRER for weeks. Amazons next delivery is 11th July, every shop is out of stock, everywhere online is out of stock! Has anyone managed to find any? If so where please?

While I'm here I took a boots early detection. Been testing all week and today I can see a super faint line. Can anyone else? It's clearer in RL and has colour. I thought I was 12 DPO but I think I'm 10 according to Flo.

@TTCNoTWO I'm sorry, hope it happens quickly for you xx

TTCNoTWO · 02/07/2023 21:43

Thank you for your replies 😊

Started with brown bleeding so pretty sure AF is starting! Onto next month x

pambeeslyhalpert2 · 02/07/2023 21:27

@TTCNoTWO there could possibly be a shadow but I'm not 100%. I don't like CB tho I don't think they're sensitive at all x

RoseH36 · 02/07/2023 20:28

@pambeeslyhalpert2 congratulations. Those tests have good reviews, going to get myself some. Still got 3 frers so when I test I'll use a Babyplan one at the same time to compare.

@TTCNoTWO sorry to say but I can't see a line at all.

TTCNoTWO · 02/07/2023 18:05

Please tell me I'm being a wally and there is no line! I'm just imagining it! I'm 12/13dpo today so pretty confident I'm out ..

LeopardLover · 02/07/2023 16:41

@pambeeslyhalpert2 Oh hurrah! Congratulations! I can definitely see a line 😍 Saw you over on the March board too 👌🏻

pambeeslyhalpert2 · 02/07/2023 16:24

I don't think it's an issue with the tests per se and the vast vast majority of the time when people have experienced "evaps" on FRERs, it's actually been very early CPs and because FRERs pick HCG up the soonest (I don't think I've found any other test which is 6.5miu) they don't end up showing on other tests and so people assume it's another evap. Even though all these tests claim they can detect 6 days early, it's always going to be more reliable the closer to your period you test (I say that as a serial early tester myself 🤣). Blue tests are a different kettle of fish though...

I agree with this. This has happened to be before.

Vfl on 2 frers.
Clear blue, co op and boots all neg.

Had bloods and had a very early miscarriage. AF arrived on time. Bloods showed HCG but was way too low to ever be a viable pregnancy. If I hadn't done the FRER I wouldn't have known I was pregnant.

LeopardLover · 02/07/2023 11:42

@curliegirlie Totally understand where you're coming from and I think sometimes this is the case, but unfortunately there are lots of grey indents on them 😫 that being said, I used one this morning at it worked fine 😊 I guess I got a good batch!

I've always just used the OneStep ones off Amazon and they've been fine. It's awful how much some of the big brand ones seem to have let people down. As if TTC isn't emotional enough!!

RoseH36 · 01/07/2023 21:47

@Kellyaust I've had issues with Clearblue before too but showing negative when I was pregnant. So hard to know which are good.

@LeopardLover it's so hard to know which to trust isn't it?

Kellyaust · 01/07/2023 21:46

@LeopardLover yes definitely, will try boots next time or stick to my strip tests coz they have never ever been wrong. Thank you 🤞

LeopardLover · 01/07/2023 21:35

@Kellyaust I understand. Sometimes the temptation to test is too hard to resist, but I vote we stick to Boots pink dye tests next time!

I hope you get your 🌈 baby soon xx

Kellyaust · 01/07/2023 21:31

@LeopardLover thankyou I definitely won't use them again or even test too early I set myself up for the biggest fall

LeopardLover · 01/07/2023 21:26

beetsbearsbattlestargalactica · 01/07/2023 19:19

Huge good luck! Hopefully we can both move to the due in march board soon!x

Fingers crossed!! My tingling style cramping has been consistent all day. I bet AF arrives tomorrow and it's all in my head 🤣💜🥰

LeopardLover · 01/07/2023 21:24

@Kellyaust Sorry, that's so awful. I don't trust those at all after everything I've seen on these forums 💔 it's really unacceptable!!

LeopardLover · 01/07/2023 21:23

@RoseH36 It's a good thing they work on their issue! Interesting, that's worth knowing and probably true. It was all about the brand! That being said, I'd only trust Clearblue's digital tests (& they are a huge brand) after all the evaps and indents I've seen recently!

Kellyaust · 01/07/2023 20:33

@heybb gosh no you didn't cause any upset, I found them great a while ago too but definitely not now and I'm so glad they're off the shelves! Tbh clear blue should be removed too ill post pics of my recent ones... All of them within timeframe... This was my first ttc after my miscarriage early may so you can imagine the pain and upset this caused when af arrived on time.

Definitely going to try the boots ones! I've been using babyplan from amazon, they're supposed to be the cheap version of FRER?! Xx

I've actually just ordered those so that's good to know!

@heybb oh god that must have been awful! I don't know what I'd do without the groups 😂 she's 19 months now, absolutely flown by!

RoseH36 · 01/07/2023 20:22

@LeopardLover that may explain it, I've wondered where they've gone too. Some shops haven't even got a label on shelves for them anymore. The nurse said to me last week that Poundshop ones are just as good as expensive ones, not that I've tried any.
