Thinner blue line, evap or faint positive?

Yesterday, at 6dpo, I did a pregnancy test (early I knowww) and it came back very faint but you could see the line.
anyway so today (7dpo) I did a clear blue 6 days early test this morning with fmu just to try and get a bit of a clearer view of it all and it has come back with a line but It seems to be a bit thinner, it’s definitely blue but I just can’t seem to believe it’s a positive.

I had some spotting yesterday at 6po which is what made me think I was pregnant as I never spot inbetween periods and the only time I have ever spotted was when I was in the early stages of pregnancy with my son.
PLZ let me know what you all think?

@KittyAllTheWay yeah I’ve seen loads about them giving false hope to mums🥹 what do the boots ones look like? Are they pink dye or blue?x

Yeah they’re gone from my boots too. I swapped to boots early detection (almost as sensitive!) because I’d cried over so many stupid fake frer lines 🥲 so I’m wondering if they’re fixing something and that’s why they’re gone. Hopefully!!

mammabird000 · 30/06/2023 15:59

@KittyAllTheWay honestly where I live I cannot find a frer anywhere😂 I will have to have a look on Amazon and order one or just wait a few more days and try again haha x

Yeah it does seem early. I always thought evaps were like past the time window when it dried though and indents could be immediate but they’re colourless? I don’t know much on CB though (I know frer have AWFUL lines)

a frer today should be a solid positive though if these CBs show I’d think?

good luck!! Fingers crossed for you

@KittyAllTheWay the lines came up straight away but like I say they were thin to begin with so it just didn’t sit right with me. Like I say I’m only 7dpo so it still is stupidly early to test x

How long after you did the test were the pics of the lines from?

Naomi2023 · 30/06/2023 13:58

I'd say that's an evap. I had an evap like that on the 6 day early and always have had evaps that show up very quickly on these tests x

mammabird000 · 30/06/2023 13:16

That’s suppose to say the GP confirms.

@PickledScrump thank you, I have a blood test booked in for today anyway as I get positive and negative results quite often and the go confirms through blood test, as I got implantation bleeding (or so I think it was ib) yesterday, would any amount of hcg show up on a blood test and I’ve read and it says pregnancy can be detected from 7dpo through blood test.
I know I sound so irrational lol but this just drives me mental😂

Clearblue are terrible for showing lines when negative. Get a decent pink dye test like frer or boots own early results. Although at 6dpo I would say it’s negative. The earliest the egg can implant is 6dpo but can take up to 12dpo. It then takes a few days for hcg to rise enough to show on a test. So either it’s negative or your dates are off. Would never trust a clearblue though. Good luck

This is the test, it’s dried properly now but something just looks a bit off to me hahaha

Thinner blue line, evap or faint positive?

@SnookyPook thank you for replying, I do think it looks positive the only thing that’s throwing me off is that it’s thinner than I would have thought, I did do a test yesterday day time after the positive and get a negative test but that could be due to it not being fmu I’m not sure x

@mammabird000 looks positive to me, especially from two different tests. Very early! Possibly twins?!
