Thinner blue line, evap or faint positive?

Yesterday, at 6dpo, I did a pregnancy test (early I knowww) and it came back very faint but you could see the line.
anyway so today (7dpo) I did a clear blue 6 days early test this morning with fmu just to try and get a bit of a clearer view of it all and it has come back with a line but It seems to be a bit thinner, it’s definitely blue but I just can’t seem to believe it’s a positive.

I had some spotting yesterday at 6po which is what made me think I was pregnant as I never spot inbetween periods and the only time I have ever spotted was when I was in the early stages of pregnancy with my son.
PLZ let me know what you all think?

@KittyAllTheWay implantation window is up to 12dpo so if you've not implanted yet or only I'm the last day or so, HCG might not be detectable yet... 🤞🏻 With both my pregnancies I didn't test until day after AF didn't show (15dpo) and both were squinters! So I think I must be someone whose HCG starts quite low - there is a whole range of 'normal'. I highly suspect with both mine if I'd tested at 11/12dpo I probably wouldn't have seen anything. So... I'll keep hopeful on your behalf! Not out until AF shows!

7dpo here and entering the most difficult and symptom spotting phase of the tww...!!

@mammabird000 ahhhh I see what you mean! Yeah I have heard fmu is strongest but also women say their evening tests were strongest so not really too sure! I don’t think it’s too weird, thankfully.

after our mc this is cycle 14 🥲 so a good while. But only 2 months before we caught with the twins we lost. I didn’t expect it to take this long 🙈 but that’s life I guess!

mammabird000 · 05/07/2023 10:47

@KittyAllTheWay Sorry I meant to say can it be normal that FMU tests are very faint and then tests taken at other times if the day to be darker, as that’s the case with me at the moment!!

your very strong to not get too disheartened by it, how long did you say you had been ttc? Xxx

@mammabird000 im sorry I know you probably don’t mean a flu test but I can’t guess what you did mean 🙈🙈

yeah using fmu. Strip tests aren’t sensitive but I’m not holding much hope! The boots yesterday was BLANK and they’re pretty sensitive 😂 ah well! Onto the next month lol

mammabird000 · 05/07/2023 07:41

@KittyAllTheWay youre not out until af comes!!!! I am finding that tests taken with my FMU are much much fainter (barely there) than at other parts of the day! Have you only been using fmu?? Also is that normal for flu tests to be basically negative but other times of the day they are darker? Xx

@mammabird000 nada! I did one yesterday (boots) and nothing lol I did a strip test today as it’s all I’ve got left and also nothing. I’m like 11dpo so I think i’m out this month 🥲

@Glitterstars perhaps coming to comment on a post where someone was taking some small glimmers of happiness in a very anxious time could be seen as attention seeking? 🙂

you didn’t HAVE to comment, you could’ve just ignored the thread if it’s not what you’d have done. You don’t have to be mean to people

Glitterstars · 04/07/2023 15:57

if you wait til your period is due you would save yourself a lot of stress. A lot of pregnancy ends early which is why they say don’t test til after your period is due.
it is attention seeking IMO. If you need support speak to your partner 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

mammabird000 · 04/07/2023 15:55

@Glitterstars about as relevant*

mammabird000 · 04/07/2023 15:54

@Glitterstars if you had anxiety during testing then surely you’d know just how much you want to try see progression to try to confirm it a little bit in your head, surely it isn’t that confusing to understand. Happy for you that you have the strength to be able to stop testing until your missed period but unfortunately for you some other people don’t cope as well as that, and if that’s attention seeking in your head then give it a shake because I didn’t post on here to get sarcastic n down-putting comments from someone as irrelevant to me as you.

you clearly don’t have the heart to understand that some peoples positives turn negative quickly and some people may want to just keep that bit of hope by testing to check the line is still there.
Im don’t explaining myself to you, you are about as irrelevant to me as that negative test I had last week😘

@Glitterstars well aren’t you quite the charmer if there ever was one😂 women like you who TRY to make other ttc women feel stupid on a website where we ask for support and advice make my skin crawlllll, honestly what a rotten person you must be😂 sad life you live my girl, stick your bollocks opinion up your arse and swivel on it glitter starssssssss😘😘😘

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

i just don’t understand the need of the constant posting about tests when you have already had positives. Enjoy it there isn’t anything you can do early stages but constantly testing causes stress talk about next steps etc but the constant testing people do is unnecessary . I understand anxiety in pregnancy I had it bad but testing all the time would just make it surely.

@Glitterstars if you don’t like it then move on. Does it effect you in anyway whatsoever how many times I test? If so please share I’d like to know why, if it doesn’t effect you and your day to day life in the slightest then please don’t comment on my thread☺️

Ha. I just don’t see the point in it. You are either torturing yourself with constant second guessing even though a positive is a positive or you’re just love attention…. I think the latter is most likely

mammabird000 · 04/07/2023 15:07

@SnookyPook thank you, I don’t like to get my hopes up just yet!!!! Hopefully will be certain in a few days!!!xxx

KittyAllTheWay · 04/07/2023 14:42

@mammabird000 omg that’s amazing!!!! I’m so happy and excited for you too 🥰

@Glitterstars lots of people have different coping techniques and different levels of anxiety and pain around it all. It’s amazing that’s how you’d do it but it’s not how everyone would 🙂

Glitterstars · 04/07/2023 14:39

Why keep testing if you have had positive tests? I never understand the constant re testing or testing so early. Wait til period is due test and then there will be none of the second guessing and less stress
