@Scarletthoping this was my first month of trying properly with timed DTD around the fertile window but technically we tried the previous 2 months too but only managed to DTD on the day of ovulation itself.

JLN88 · 06/07/2023 14:06

Implantation I believe is between 6-12 dpo. So I would think 4 dpo is too early but again depends if you know exact ovulation date. Are you doing OPKs or charting?

I've notice that our 'relaxed' approach to our first month TTC #1 is actually making me anxious, as the more I think about it the more I want it!

Am I right in thinking 4dpo would be too early to spot any symptoms? It's constantly on my mind and then I think ahh surely that's nothing related as implantation hasn't even happened yet.. The joys!

I should've said implantation wouldn't have happened yet - not hasn't!

Helllloooo! Sorry typo - must remember to read before pressing send 🤣 mild cramps I meant. I hate the tww. Always say I won’t let it take over my life and every time it’s all I think about. It’s only our first month trying for #2 and it took 11months to get my little boy.

Hello, I’m new year and in my very first TWW (4DPO I think). Hope it’s OK to join xx

Welcome!
Exactly the same as me, 4po today! All the best with your journey xx

HavinKittens · 06/07/2023 13:58

Hello and welcome @Scarletthoping you’re right it is like another language
you’lol speaking it in no time 😂

And welcome @JLN88 I find I notice aches and twinges more and never know if it’s me or a sign! What does “milk milk cramps” mean? I feel like that might be a typo haha

Hi ladies!
hope it’s ok to join. I’m currently 9/10pp trying for number 2. Had milk milk cramps aches yesterday and a bit today. Think I’m going to test tomorrow and see if anything comes up. Don’t normally get aches and pain until AF comes but it may also be my brain messing with me.

Scarletthoping · 06/07/2023 13:35

@CinderRosie Yep first baby 🤞🏻
feel like I’m learning a new language with all the abbreviations 🤣
have you been trying for long? X

CinderRosie · 06/07/2023 12:58

@HavinKittens love that colour!
Welcome @Scarletthoping good luck for your first TWW! Would this be your first baby?

This is the colours in the dress I’m wearing. I wanted a peachy pink to match but the result looks more a bright pink than I thought it would. Still, it was nice to be pampered.

Yes I also noticed less FRER around. The last lot I bought were reduced in boots and I wondered if they were being discontinued.

I think the boots earlies are the new FRER! Although they’re not quite as sensitive.

@HavinKittens ooh lovely, what colour have you gone for?
@Unicorn25 I've read on other threads that they've been discontinued, they seemed to throw out sooo many evaps maybe that is why? I last got some on Amazon but this was several months ago. If I need to test this month I'm going to go for a Boots Early Detection or whatever they're called. Apparently they don't give evaps and are still pink dye.

Unicorn25 · 06/07/2023 12:26

3dpo today and another day 🫣

Has anyone else noticed how hard it is to get hold of first response tests now? They are literally nowhere!

HavinKittens · 06/07/2023 11:42

I know what you mean. Always counting days when you’re ttc. I have told myself I won’t test until after the wedding I am going to on Saturday.

getting my nails done right now, which is a major treat now a days

CinderRosie · 06/07/2023 10:55

It's dragging more than ever this month for some reason. I've got work today tomorrow and Saturday then two days off, which I hope will go quicker. By the time I am then back at work Tuesday I'll be 11DPO and if I am out this month I will probably have started my pre-AF spotting. Feel like I'm wishing my life away lol.

HavinKittens · 06/07/2023 10:42

Morning! 6dpo here too. Temp is steady. Had my Blood test done and hopefully will get the result tomorrow.
This middle bit of the 2ww really drags!

CinderRosie · 06/07/2023 10:13

Morning everyone. Another day, another DPO! 😂
6DPO for me today. Woke up absolutely exhausted even though I slept a good 7 hours. BBT has also shot up today. I feel I am on high alert for any implantation sensations as Flo says implantation could start tomorrow but I've learnt from last two cycles that twinges etc mean absolutely nothing really as AF has always rocked up....

@Abs014 any news on today's test?

CurlyWurly1991 · 05/07/2023 17:06

@Abs014 that is an ambiguous one, I haven’t seen one like that. Not a negative though. Definitely worth a re test!
@GinAndBearIt90 totally understand wanting to plan but like you say there are always things that you can’t know. Taking an easy going approach while on holiday sounds good though!!

GinAndBearIt90 · 05/07/2023 14:29

@LA7887 I know, they can be a pain to remember to do regularly!!

Well thankfully I didn't get round to doing one yet, as AF has just shown up! 36 day cycle so must still be sorting itself out while I'm bf. At least I know where I'm at now! Not 100% sure whether to start TTC this month or next, as I don't want to be bloated and not feeling great on holiday at the end of the month if we are successful. Will maybe give it a casual go and also just figure out my cycle with OPKs but try properly next month! We conceived second cycle for DS1 and first cycle for DS2 so that's why I maybe sound a bit crackers with the specific planning. I'm aware though that we are another couple of years older though and that could make a difference with how easy it is this time 🤷‍♀️

Abs014 · 05/07/2023 14:21

@HavinKittens thats what I thought. It’s almost pixilated! No worries! Nope, no other tests, I’m 9DPO so still early really but as I had convinced myself I’m out, I thought I’d do one to confirm and then I can chill till next cycle and get thrown this curve ball! I’ve had cramping and back ache but that’s about it!

HavinKittens · 05/07/2023 14:16

@Abs014 hmmm! I mean it definitely has colour but yes it’s a bit fuzzy. I’m not sure! Have you done any other tests this cycle? (Sorry if I’ve forgotten)

@CurlyWurly1991 keeping everything crossed for you! Let us know how you get on!

Abs014 · 05/07/2023 14:06

@Goldie1234 I’ve seen so many tests on this website but none that look like this! I will try again in the morning 😊
