welcome fnc, your symptoms sound good
Scary am willing this bean to be a sticker for you. I also read in TCOYF last night a very similar scenario to yours and it was due to 'disappearing twin syndrome' which is why the lady had a 'AF' bleed but then the other bean stuck - everything is crossed xx

tinkerbell2 · 30/03/2008 19:00

good luck scary

ShakeysGirl · 30/03/2008 18:38

I thought i ov around day 24 (am usually 36 day cycle) but then about 10 days before af was due i had a slight bleed for half an hour. Am very confused! When i didn't come on i convinced myself that i must have ov late and thats what the bleed was iyswim but even if that was the case i'd have come on by now! Am not pg so may have to go to the docs to find out whats going on. Glad you're feeling sick Scary (iyswim) x

ScaryHairy · 30/03/2008 18:31

Fine thanks Shakey. I'm waiting for my blood HCG results which should be back tomorrow and should give a better indication of whether this bean is sticky and whether it might be ectopic.
In the meantime my temp is pretty high today and I feel sick. I am cautiously hoping for good news tomorrow, but I just don't see how it can be as this bean must have implanted so very late - maybe even 15 or 16 dpo- and my last HCG numbers seemed pretty low. On the cheerful side, in TCOYF there is a chart of a woman to whom almost the same thing happened - her temps didn't bounce around quite so much after implantation but it is very similar and she did carry her baby to term. It's nice to know I am not the only oddity!!

Do you know when you ovulated, Shakey?

fnc the nausea can be due to high levels of progesterone - as can pretty much every other pregnancy symptom. But as Ei says, anything is a symptom on this thread : headaches, nausea, tiredness, feeling well, bad spelling, forgetfulness, accidental repeat posting etc etc.

Hi to everyone else, Bucky (is your hair lovely and shiny now?), Ei, GG, mob, Tinkerbell, JB, Picknmix, Hatty, ClairePO, Mibbes. I hope you're all well.

Hi everyone!

Can I join you? I read this thread looking for other people's symptoms before they test because I have been feeling definitely queasy, but only on and off, the last few days yet AF not due for another week. This will be DC no3 and with the other two I didn't get any sickness till week 6 or 7. Can you get nausea this soon if indeed i am even p/g. ?? What do you think ladies? We BD about three weeks ago, on day 10 and day 14 ish (I think - wasn't keeping a record, I have much to learn about record keeping dedication from some of you!)of my cycle.

Good luck to everyone!

Bucky am here!!! How are all of you?

mibbes · 28/03/2008 22:50

Hi Bucky, how many dpo are you now ? Any more symptoms after headaches ? It is totally strange thinking I am PG - it hasn't sunk in atall yet. I feel like a fraud as (obviously) have no bump and no real symptoms apart from being a bit tired and the wretching business this morning. I'm sure Ei will oblige with a Bucky-dream soon and you'll find out exactly how mad it is . I'll save a sofa for you in the Dec thread xx

PicknMix · 28/03/2008 22:46

Hi,

Have been working all evening ( and also rather that I am working on a Friday night!) and am therefore knackered but just wanted to pop in to say wishing you all the best for Sunday Scary. You're in my thoughts xx

Hi to everyone else - apologies as no time for one of my mammoth posts, hope you are all well

x

PS Nice to 'see' you DG, glad to hear all is well with you and digibean

PPS Have emailed you Bucky re meet up

Bucky2008 · 28/03/2008 21:12

Oh and NEWSFLASH...I am going to go and wash my hair now . Even the builder was staring at my hair the whole time he was talking to me this evening, so I think it is time....or it could have been all the Angel perfume I sprayed in it mixed with the stinky smell was off putting.... I do wash the rest of me...honest!

Bucky2008 · 28/03/2008 21:08

GG I see from the photo you have changed your hairstyle! I almost didn't recognise you.....hahahahahahahahaha Just kidding.... LOLFOF.... Hmm, sorry about the results, I was hoping it was a big mistake and things would be better but glad you had it out with DH. Men just don't know how lucky they are to have us. Hopefully he will behave now!

Scary > I know exactly how you feel and its horrible . I am very impressed by your sensible and positive outlook, I just sat on the sofa blubbing for two days . Thanks for letting us know how you got on, you know that you can be as happy or as sad as you need to be on here and we will all be here to give you virtual smiles and hugs.

Mibbes How exciting, if wretching can be exciting . Bless your DH, its really sweet. This is your first too isn't it so it must be so mindblowing!

MOB Yay, I do hope you come and meet us. . Be brave, we all had the same reservations but it was like we already knew each other when we met, not weird at all.

Jolly How are you doing today? Has the BDathon commenced .

Ei Please may I be in your dream soon? . I would like a baby.

Hope everyone else is having a better day than I have had and a fab Friday night.

Buckyx

ScaryHairy · 28/03/2008 18:00

That's lovely Mibbes (not the sick, but that your DP is being so good).

I am trying to be philosophical. Barring some bizarre miracle involving late implantation this one is probably not sticky. But this is the first time have been pregnant this time of TTC, so at least I know it can be done. If it's not going to happen I just want my body to get over it so I can have another go.

mibbes · 28/03/2008 17:43

Scary am so sorry your scan didn't bring the news we were hoping for, fingers crossed for positive news on Sunday xxxx

GG despite your DH's disappointing results it sounds very much like you are relieved to have cleared the air and finally got your feelings across to him. Hopefully he will be more proactive in looking for resolutions.I remember watching a TV documentary about a man with very low sperm count (or motility, not sure exactly) but basically the couple couldn't concieve. They changed his diet and gave him vits and after several months they had BFP ! Before xmas I started leaving bowls of nuts in the kitchen (esp brazils) and DP scoffed a handful every time he came into the kitchen, now that was 3 months ago so who knows maybe that was a contributing factor...

Hi to Ei, Bucky, MOB, PnM, Fairy, JB, tinkerbell

I am very well thanks for asking MOB. Felt a bit sick this morning and wretched several times . DP is being lovely and giving me random hugs all the time ! For someone who wasn't that bothered and just 'seeing what happens' he is very excited !

tinkerbell2 · 28/03/2008 17:35

hi scary sorry that you didnt find out too much hopefully you will soon
gg glad that dh is seeing sense

GryffinGirl · 28/03/2008 16:35

Scary - I am so sorry that the scan wasn't more conclusive. You poor thing what with more waiting. Everything crossed for you. I hope your DH is ok too and he's looking after you properly? Please take it easy and thank you for posting because I was worried about you. Big ((((((hugs))))) to you.

jolly - I don't look like that old battleaxe in the picture in RL! Honest

ScaryHairy · 28/03/2008 16:30

Hi

Just checking in briefly.
I had a scan - they couldn't see anything, but that doesn't mean a lot - and a blood test which shows HCG levels of 340. They will repeat the bloods on Sunday to see if my HCG is going up or down.

So we're kind of in limbo. I think a bean may have been trying to implant very late after ovulation - maybe even after my bleed started - and now either it is still trying or I have leftover hormones in my body. Let's hope it is the former, but apparently my uterine lining is pretty thin for a pregnancy, so who knows. It's wait-and-see time.

GG now you've told your DH what's what maybe he will get to it a bit. Re vitamins, Zita West does some for men which are supposed to be ood and contain things which are supposedly good for the swimmers, so he could get some of those. My DH calls them his "manvits".

Glad you're feeling positive JB.

Hi to everyone, tinkerbell, MOB, DG< Ei, Bucky (who I am sure smells very nice) and everyone else.
