Afternoon all,

MOB It may be a virus but you still might be pregnant! Fingers crossed.

bucky what a lovely regular cycle, I'm ! You could always try temping if you want to check that you are ov when you think. Hope you don't need to though .

What an odd dream shakey! Hope your long cycle isn't getting you down too much.

Things are looking good ei! hatty You can be bloated around ov (I hope that is why my tummy is massive today ). Bloating is a preg symptom of course too . You are a brave woman to have needles put in your head!!

hattyyellow · 03/04/2008 14:51

Scary I'm so so sorry to hear your news - I wish there was something I could say or do to make it all better - sending you hugs.

GG great news about your doctor being a bit more on the ball (no pun intended). Hope that he can make things happen and great news about your local hospital being so speedy. You can save the money you would have spent on going private and use it for extra babygros instead.

Bucky everything crossed for you - go'on girl! Your cycles actually seem quite regular, I didn't realise they were pretty much the same length monthly - that must be a good sign?

Ei glad you feeling better today

MOB my DH is always the same - convinced I am pregnant every month!

Shakeysgirl fingers xd, your long cycle turns into a BFP.

Picknmix I am a waiter too, can't bear to be disappointed by testing anymore - if I just wait until my period arrives at least I can then fool myself that I hadn't got my hopes up!

Not much news from me but in the true spirit of the thread I have a new symptom - my tummy is so bloated that I've had to change into my tracky trousers the last few days as my normal trousers have been so tight (and I haven't even been eating any extra pies). Am day 19 so seems far too early for it to be a real symptom but I just thought I would share!

Went for acupuncture yesterday which was great. Suprisingly relaxing! Looked hard at the ceiling instead of at any needles sticking out of me but the acupuncturist was very pleased with me and even stuck a needle in my head as I was doing so well - strangest reward for good behaviour I've ever had!

Waving to everyone else, apologies if I've missed you (although I think we all secretly want to be accidentally blanked now as it seems to be a good luck charm!)

Bucky2008 · 03/04/2008 14:15

thanks Ei with your psychic powers that makes me feel better .

I have been analysing my last few cycle lengths:

I have had a :
29
29
27
29
and 24

I am on CD28, so I guess I am not out of the woods yet, although I was sure I ov on CD15/16 and I have an 11 day LP so in theory she should have turned up today? I am a bit confused now too as when I was doing OPKs the was turning up on CD15 so maybe I have my LP wrong? arrrrghhh after all these months I still do not know what is going on!

Sorry for babbling.

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 03/04/2008 13:29

Everyone's gone mad this morning!!!

Well, catching up with the thread has cheered me up this morning.

For the benefit of mibbes & JB "It's a VIRUS"!! DH has been at it again - rang up earlier and yet again it was the "well, you could be pregnant..." I don't want to dash his hopes completely but surely fever and stomach cramps (v much at the top of the stomach, not low down) IS a virus???

EI hope you are feeling a little more positive today.

PnM you are sounding very perky .... definitely a symptom!! I know you are worried that you didn't BD at the right time, but don't forget the swimmers can live for 5 days, or sometimes more, in the right environment. Fingers crossed for you.

Bucky hope you did just test too early. I do so hope it's your month.

JB keep up the baby dancing until everything "dries up"!!!

ShakeysGirl · 03/04/2008 12:23

So sorry to hear your news scary :-(
Day 51 for me now and still symptomless. I had a mad dream that i was doing a pregnancy test last night and got two pink lines which i thought was negative but then read the instructions and realised it was positive. But instead of being pleased i was gutted because i didn't know who the father was!! Any thoughts?
I haven't tested for just over a week, no point. Sorry to those that got their bfns.

PicknMix · 03/04/2008 12:13

GAH - SOOOO messed my joke up there - should have written 'wind in the willows' not the other way round......

Deffo symptom of pregnancy - total lack of ability to proof read this morning!!!

PicknMix · 03/04/2008 12:11

Bucky I always wondered why Mibbes made a sort of 'rustling' sound - must have been the willow in the wind (has this gone on too far yet?!)

JB I'm a 'twaiter' in that I test far too early and then I get despondent after the inevitable bfn and wait it out til af arrives ! (I have already tested - yesterday, roughly 10dpo - and will now wait until Sunday and see what happens!)

JollyBear · 03/04/2008 11:57

P&M EWCM two days before DH left is very good! Fingers crossed? Are you a tester or a waiter?

LOL at mibbes the eel catcher!

tinker When I first started ttc I was on the look out for EWCM because I'd read of its importance on these threads (thank you ladies) but only got a teeny bit. However these last two cycles I have had loads! The only thing I've done differently is to chart (so maybe I am more aware ) and replace tea and coffee with green tea. I don't know if it is the lack of caffine or the green tea that might be having an affect though!

tinkerbell2 · 03/04/2008 11:46

hi ladies
m hope that bloods come back ok (eel in a basket) lol
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww i hate eels ewwwwwwwww andt he thought of eating one especially if it was electric
eeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwouchhhhhhhhhhhewwwwwwwwwwwwwouccccccccccccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhlol[g rin]
bucky lol @ cart wheel or car wheel good luck
pnm you have been bding plenty so good luck for you fingers crossed
jb have noticed a small amount of cm white otherwise dry at the mo bring on ewcm

Bucky2008 · 03/04/2008 10:54

....Mibbes was in fact a wicker basket for catching eels....

Bucky2008 · 03/04/2008 10:53

Who knew? .

Bucky2008 · 03/04/2008 10:52

PicknMix at the weels on the bus....however, I owe Mibbes an apology for calling her a wheel when in fact

Weel =

Weel \Weel, n. A whirlpool. [Obs.]
Weel \Weel, Weely \Weel"y, a wicker basket to catch eels; prob. akin to willow, and so called as made of willow twigs. A kind of trap or snare for fish, made of twigs. [Obs.]
--Carew.

and actually, as Mibbesy is a Scot, she was in fact grammatically correct...

Weel \Weel, a. & adv. = Well. [Obs. or Scot.]

PicknMix · 03/04/2008 10:27

I'm assuming the blood test came back ok Mibbes?

JB I am.....not very sure how many dpo I am as I didn't bother temping again this month as thought that my DH would be away at optimum time.

However.

We 'did the deed' every other night before he went away (think he was glad to be given a respite ) and I had ewcm 2 days before he left so have, even though I promised myself I wouldn't, got my hopes up as we still may be in with a chance. Although this would mean another short cycle for me (am predicting af on this Sunday as lp is usually 16 days) and that in itself is unusual.

Anybody following my ramblings??! Cos I'm not sure I am!!

(Bucky I'm thinking Mibbes is prob a weel on the bus [goes round and round] if she's just spent time with her nieces - assuming they are young of course!!)

Bucky2008 · 03/04/2008 10:01

Mibbes maybe the moon was like in a weird cycle or something....that is exactly what I had . I never get headaches.

Oh and glad you are a weel . What kind of weel are you. A car weel or cart weel perhaps LOL...sorry just messing

mibbes · 03/04/2008 09:28

HI PicknMix, I am very weel thanks, have bloods this morning to check am ok after contact with chiceknpox nieces. Headache is definitely a good sign ! I had a headache 2 days running quite soon after ov this cycle (which is unusual for me)

JollyBear · 03/04/2008 09:25

Morning all,

How dare you P&M!! ... I finished reloading at the stuff I did yesterday, phew! I will be saving like mad for now on!

P&M You sound v chirpy! Do you know how many dpo you are?

MOB I agree with mibbes and hope DH is right. Hope you don't feel too ill though.

bucky Hope that it was just too early to test. No pre-af symptoms is a good sign along with the headaches.

ei Hope you feel a bit brighter today.

tinker Any sign of ov for you yet?

Well FF has put dotted ov lines in my chart indicating that they think I've ov but they are not sure. I'm sure I haven't ov though, as I've had lots of EWCM after their suggested ov date. I shall ignore FF and carry on bd'ing!! I wish the egg would get a move on though!

Hello to everyone else and fingers crossed for P&M, MOB and bucky.

PicknMix · 03/04/2008 09:12

Oooo, [slightly paranoid face] just realised I sounded awfully flippant about your work that you lost JB - apologies! Am just a serial loser of work myself so am the worlds best at pressing save save save throughout!! (The one thing I do forget to do now is to back up work which bit me on the bum the other day when my rabbit chewed through my laptop cable and shorted my laptop - luckily have a very techy husband so didn't have to try and explain it to my IT dept!!)

PicknMix · 03/04/2008 09:08

Scary so sorry to hear your news. I hope you're bearing up ok - as Bucky said, we'll miss you, do pop back in again when you feel ready to. Wishing you the best of luck and massive hugs to you and Mr Scary.

How are you feeling this morning Ei? Sorry to hear you are feeling so down and about the bfn (totally understand why though).

Bucky - am assuming that headaches are a symptom because I have just finished 3 days worth of headache and can only assume its because I am pregnant. Too confident? Me? Nah!!!! (obviously my headaches have nothing whatsoever to do with my inability to wear my glasses all the time and to go to bed at a reasonable hour! )

Thats fab news about the referral GG - fab fab news. And not so far away either! I've heard of some people having to wait months so you must be chuffed that its moving forward.

Hi to Tink, Mibbes (how you doing lady??), MOB (hope you're feeling a little better this morning?) and JB (don't forget to ctrl + 's' all day long today!!!) and Beanie.

Am working from home today - just have to work up a bit of motivation!

tinkerbell2 · 03/04/2008 08:23

morning ladies
cd13 for me

mibbes · 02/04/2008 22:05

Bucky I only had 2 headaches earlier on post-ov then nothing since. Hardly anything symtpom-wise, the odd cramp that just makes me worry and tiny booby tingles once in a while, very disappointing ! Still not convinced it is real.. need my belly to grow, but I'm workikng on that !

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 02/04/2008 21:57

Bucky2008 · 02/04/2008 20:37

How is your miblet doing anyway? Any symptoms yet...has it sunk in?

Bucky2008 · 02/04/2008 20:37
