07mumstheword · 24/02/2008 08:58

Hi girls I couldn't find you yesterday and had a msg saying MN was experiencing problems.

Hello to the new poeple and any "old" friends I don't personally mention.

People really don't understand about MN do they. My DH said the other day what are you looking at, so I said MN and he said oh you're still on that are you Of course I am!

Mibbes Hope you have a relaxed month

Bucky Hope you do too and that you enjoyed your friends birthday party.

Just to let you know I had a little spotting and cramps on Friday and I spoke to the doctor who was very good and understood my concerns having had 2 very early MC's so she is sending me for a scan tomorrow. I haven't had any problems since Fri so I'm hoping all is well, keep your fingers crossed for me.

pinkgirl30 · 24/02/2008 07:57

morning ladies

twinklingfairy · 23/02/2008 18:06

euch, they just don't understand
My sister and BF are the same. Sis passes comments but BF just looks at me as if I am a bit weird.
I try not to mention it to BF and tell sis to shoosh

I am going to try to be more chilled this month too mibbes, will be hard, I like to chat to you guys

mibbes · 23/02/2008 14:11

Quick Hello to Bucky and all the ladies , Bucky , I'm also aiming to obsess less this month which means less MN. Just popping back to check for BFPs every couple of days . Can't keep up with all the new faces, the thread moves soo quickly ! Anyway, quite resigned to having to fix pre-AF spotting before have a real chance of BFP so having to wean myself off - but I'll defo still be lurking, would hate to miss one of my buddy's BFP !!!
p.s.8Bucky my BF was also very dismissive of MN and all my googling about ttc - she doesn't approve

pinkgirl30 · 23/02/2008 12:28

i currently have mild nausea and mild cramps and am really happy

pinkgirl30 · 23/02/2008 12:11

hi scully no i dont normally have any of these symptoms. i usually have very mild cramps and headache and an really moody!!
was hoping as we tried straight after pill would be one of the extre fertile one
beaniesteve it is a pain that symptoms are similair to pregnancy and af!
xx

coolkat · 23/02/2008 10:28

Hey Bucky good to 'see' you. It sounds like you are feeling better. Enjoy your night tonight. It sounds like your are feeling a little ore relaxed and I think that is good. I know that being on here can sometimes make you more aware and paranoid but it also nice to discuss things with peolpe that you can not discuss in RL. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Anyway CD 38!

Coolkat X

beaniesteve · 23/02/2008 10:21

Pinkgirl - all the symptoms you describe are so damn similar to those you get when you are getting your period. It's so unfair that they have to be the same. Good luck, hope it happens for you

beaniesteve · 23/02/2008 10:19

Good luck Scully.

scully · 23/02/2008 10:11

Not sure Pink, are these symptons you have in a normal cycle? It can take a few months for the pill to leave your system completely.
Beanie my last 2 normal cycles since the m/c have been 31 and 30 days, so I won't be getting my hopes up until Wed at the earliest (cd32).
Enjoy the party Bucky a night out, how nice

pinkgirl30 · 23/02/2008 09:55

anyone have any thoughts?
are my symptoms pregnancy?
or more likely from stopping the pill?
xx

pinkgirl30 · 23/02/2008 09:53

good luck beaniesteve and suiledon
crossing my fingers for you too
welcome bucky2008 good luck

Bucky2008 · 23/02/2008 09:42

Hi Girls .

Thanks for the new thread Ei .

Coolcat hope your feeling better

Well, I am trying hard not to pay attention to my cycle this month so that DP and I can just relax and go with the flow BDing wise. It seems to be working so far . I even got EWCM yesterday , haven't had that for months and months. The doctor said not having EWCM did not matter however (he probably thought I was a bit weird to be monitoring it ) and also said that I shouldn't bother to temp as the day 21 test will tell us if I ov. He said not concieving is really really common although he knew that wouldn't make me feel any better.

I feel for all of you that are 'tired' I was like that for the last couple of months. I have my good friend's 40th birthday party to go to tonight and have to stay in a hotel as it is miles from where I live. I am quite boring these days what with having to look out for Finn so I am having a touch of 'not-real-agrophobia' and just want to stay home and nest. The same friend is really suspicious about all my 'new' friends...I have mentioned meeting up with Gryffingirl or Digitalgirl a few times and she asked where I knew them from ....had to mumble something under my breath about, 'facebook....friend of a friend....lots in common....so meet up ...mumble mumble' as she doesn't know about my MN fixation or even really how serious about ttc (although I have mentioned that before).

Anyway, hope this thread is lucky and that you are all doing good today. Mibbes hope you are still lurking out there . Special mention to Hatty and MOB and I hope everyone has a good weekend.

beaniesteve · 23/02/2008 09:37

29 days seems like such a long cycle to me , mine's about 25. the first month I started trying my cycle was 35 days and I really got my hopes up! If I got to 29 I would be testing testing testing!

scully · 23/02/2008 09:35

Hello everyone, found you
I shall also put some champagne in the fridge
Pink, you sound very organised. I'm flat out remembered when AF arrived and when dh and I bd'd I do live in a permanent state of distraction though, that's my excuse anyway
cd29 tomorrow for me, getting a little nervous, but hoping to be busy enough in the next few days to not think about it too much.

beaniesteve · 23/02/2008 09:15

No period today, this is day 23 for me and because I had such a short cycle last month I am expecting it any day now. Have twinges in my breasts but I rarely get any soreness before my period anyway and I can't really feel any difference today either.

Lots of wind though which is pretty normal for me just before and also grumbly tummy which I know isn't hunger because I had a HUGE burger last night.

crossing my fingers still.

suiledonn · 23/02/2008 09:05

Hi everyone, TTC our second. Doing the 2WW for the fourth time now. AF due in 5 days. The waiting is killing me. Will probably test early though as got a BFP 4 days early on dd. Conceived dd in first cycle so was sure it would happen fairly quickly again. Only 'symptoms' at the moment are the occasional crampy feeling and the fact that when I put dd to bed at night I keep falling asleep too!

pinkgirl30 · 23/02/2008 08:56

i am bit of an ove organizer thanx coolkat
