Oh darling GG you poor thing, and poor DH. I feel for you both so much. Of course you must both be in shock. What can i say except i am thinking of you.

Do you have an appt with the GP do discuss things further? This is a hurdle to get over, yes, but it CAN be got over. There is so much that can be done medically, and so many natural things that can help as well.

I hope and pray that DH goes home at a reasonable hour and you can discuss this together.

Look after yourselves, and remember that we are all here for you.

GryffinGirl · 26/02/2008 12:25

sorry, Jolly - I meant to say good luck with your scan and keep us posted. Thinking of you.

GryffinGirl · 26/02/2008 12:23

ok - you probably guessed it.

DH got his results. "Sperm count very low - further test required". He's in shock standing in the stairwell at work, but still refusing to come home to a reasonable time to discuss it. I am at my desk at work feeling absolutely numb.

JollyBear · 26/02/2008 12:22

Morning all,

ei I nearly splattered soup all over my computer at the thought of AF unpacking in undercrackers! Sorry work have been so crap. They cannot have a go for you being ill and for your nan being ill. Have they no compassion?!

mibbes I'll confess I had a similar experience about six months ago and went to the Drs and it was just my cervix . I didn't know it moved around!! I find some positions worse than others that certain times of my cycle Hope the Dr is helpful, let us know how it goes.

GG Hope your DH has more luck actually getting his results today. Fingers crossed all is well.

toosoon Those symptoms sound good. Try and hold out from testing again for a bit, easier said than done I know but serial testing can get very expensive. Fingers crossed for you!

MTW So glad to hear your scan went well. It is amazing as MOB says!

How are you feeling MOB, hope AF is not showing herself?

bucky The waiting room was a day out for everyone wasn't it, phew! Hope you get some more energy for bd'ing again later

hatty I wouldn't worry about the soya milk, judging by lots of threads recently we should all be using condoms and taking the MAP to get pregnant!!

I won't be around tomorrow as I'll be travelling for my scan. I'll be back on Friday with good scan results I hope, and hopefully BFPs from some of you.

Byeeeeeeeee

JB have everything crossed that egg stays away until after scan, will be thinking of you {{{{hugs}}}} xx
GG good luck with DH's results
Hello to Ei, Bucky, MOB, hatty, Fairy, coolkat and all the other ladies - Sounds like there is lots of Bd'ing going on - good work ladies

TMI alert ladies - DP and I BD'd last night (yes just for fun !) and at one point he seemed to hit something hard - am assuming it was my cervix which I guess is low and hard so soon after AF. Anyway it was painful and then afterwards I had some mild cramps then a small amount of blood - today have more blood and quite a lot after bowel movement Has DP broken something ? The annoying thing is although he was sympathtic he seems quietly proud to be big enough to cause me pain ! What a typically male reaction . Anyone ever had this ? I have doc appt tonight so will mention it then but how !!! I'll pop back later and let you know how doc appt goes - have temp charts and cycle spreadsheet at the ready !

toosoontotell · 26/02/2008 10:07

Hiya,thanks for the welcomes .

Well done on the good news MTW

I have decided I am definitely going insane . This is the 3rd day in a row of feeling sick yet I'm hungry and want to eat. Surely it's too soon? I've also been a bit "crampy" but that's gone now. I confess I have tested but so far -ve. Mind you in the past I've only ever got +ve when my period's late. Maybe I've got my dates wrong? In the past when I have kept a note my cycle has varied from 24-32 days. Sorry for the rambling but it's good to get my thoughts out anonymously

Bucky2008 · 26/02/2008 09:38

Fantastic MTW. I am soo happy for you.

Glad to see you back Ei we missed you.

And yes, MOB the deed is done! , but it has to be done again and again in the next few days and I am tired already .

madoldbird · 26/02/2008 09:03

Morning all!

MTW that's such lovely news Am so happy for you. Hope you can relax a little now. It's so incredible, isn't it, that a tiny thing like that, which, although you are 6w, only began to form about 4w ago, actually has a heartbeat already. Do keep us updated on everything, won't you - don't abandon us yet!!!

EI glad to see you - was getting worried about you!! How are you today?

pinkgirl any sign of AF (or BFP)?

twinklingfairy was thinking about you this morning, and that i hadn't "seen" you for a bit. Or maybe i have just missed your posts. (Iget confused. Easily confused.) How are things with you, anyway?

coolkat how are you today? Have you done another test? Hope all goes well with the GP. Thinking of you.

Bucky am hoping the deed is done?!

hattyyellow glad you are joining me in the drunken singing / shouting / general bad behaviour! Although i am off for my second reflexology session in a minute so hopefully i will be nice and calm and relaxed when i get back, and won't feel like shouting obscenities any more!!!

GG thinking of you and gryffinboy between 12 - 1, getting those results.

Good morning to JB, Mibbes, beaniesteve, scully, london, TSTT and anyone else i have inadvertently forgotten.

pinkgirl30 · 26/02/2008 08:34

Panic over! The waiting room list was wrong....still let the BDing begin

Bucky2008 · 25/02/2008 21:17

ha ha ha ...swiging out a champagne bottle and singing wildly out of tune... sounds like a normal Saturday night for me ! OK just this Saturday night gone

Hatty I know what your saying but my LP is only 11 days so I have had surges on CD14 before...hopefully its ok, it would be just my luck to be having a freak month where it happens a day early or something...

coolkat · 25/02/2008 19:57

Ei, Where are you, I hope you are ok.
X

londonmummy2005 · 25/02/2008 19:46

Hi girls thanks for all your responses. I just did another one and you;re al right the line is fainter than the other one, it's just that when I used the uk ones thay would just show one line if not OVing so I guess I'm done ovulating I have to try and calculate when It would have happened! I definitely got EWCM a few days ago so must have been then. Can't really symptom spot as on other side of world so everything a bit different anyway especially with jet lag and long flight on the way back AF is usually later wen I travel. Will keep you posted. Thanks again!

GryffinGirl · 25/02/2008 19:17

ha ha - madoldbird. Permission granted provided it is only mild burbling at this stage until AF is confirmed . Oh, and I'll join you in lamping anyone who says "I've got three boys, but I want a girl sooo much I could cry!!!! Does anyone know about the Shettles Method???!!". I'll have to be careful of my behaviour (i'm originally from Glasgow, and I;d only reinforce the Rab C Nesbitt stereotype . Hatty you can definitely join in!

pinkgirl30 · 25/02/2008 17:18

hi hatty yellow good luck

hattyyellow · 25/02/2008 17:04

lol...Can I join the drunken wittering/singing/berating strangers? I know all the words to "it's a long way to tipperary" and am working from home today so am dressed pretty shabbily with a ripped knee in my jeans and a knackered old shirt on so I feel I look the part!

Have just had an e-mail from friend where we lived overseas, pretty much everyone in the whole toddler group i belonged to is pregnant again..'cept me...so feeling cross..

MOB really hope AF doesn't show

GG..can't believe your hospital clinic! What a load of jobsworths!

JB good luck for the scan, hope it goes okay

Bucky..confused, if your cycles are long surely you haven't missed the boat this month to BD yet? And what's that all about the tap water!? Jaysus, you can't drink or eat anything nowadays can you? I've been trying soya milk recently and DH read that that is a terrible thing to do when concieving

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4115506.stm

madoldbird · 25/02/2008 16:44

Oh GG ok, i will hold off acting totally mad!! I will still sit in the corner, though, and growl menancingly if anyone asks how to conceive a boy/girl/baby elephant, or asks if they could be pregnant, as they just kissed their DH 20 minutes ago. Permission to do that, at least? Pretty please??

GryffinGirl · 25/02/2008 16:13

ha - I have the most brilliant image of madoldbird like some....erm....mad old bird shouting as passers by and swigging champagne out of the bottle, singing and yelling "bahh humbug to BFP's" . Thanks madoldbird, you've really made me laugh at that imagine, but of course, you can't have permission until AF is really here. It's not over yet! So sorry that you have got that achy feeling . Willing that it is implantation pains

Jolly - if BFP's were willpower alone, I would be like that woman in South America who had seven children in three years (two sets of girl triplets and one little boy). Although, come to think of it, that's not exactly ideal either

hello to London and TSTT

hi to everyone else

madoldbird · 25/02/2008 15:26

Bucky get BDing girl!! All is definitely not lost

london Welcome, can i just ask, are you sure you are definitely not pg already? The only reason i ask is that apparently that can also cause a +OPK. And as Bucky and JB have said, the line should be the same or darker than the control line, if there is an LH surge.

Welcome also TSTT. Hey, fluey feelings can be a symptom - apparently when newly pg the body lowers it's immune sysytem to allow the egg to implant... see - you'll become obsessive very quickly if you hang around here

Well, am full of doom and gloom now. I have familiar slightly gripping ache low down, and the greenish discharge when i wipe, both signs with me that AF is on her way. May be a couple of days yet, but i know the feelings all to well. Please can i have permission to sit in the corner, swigging champagne, shouting obsentities and singing horribly out of tune??

toosoontotell · 25/02/2008 15:16

Hi,could I join you please?
Dh & I weren't planning to have anymore children but I came off the pill before Christmas as it didn't suit me. We were using condoms but recently have got more lax about it and last week threw caution to the wind .
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that my AF isn't due until around 6th March so now I'm going to be analysing every symptom until then! I doesn't help that I feel "fluey" at the moment-it is too soon, isn't it .

Bucky2008 · 25/02/2008 15:04

And London I think JB is right. You should not get 5-6 days of OPK positives. Are you sure the line is darker on all five days? You always get two lines on OPKs, just most of the time they are lighter.

Bucky2008 · 25/02/2008 15:02

MOB Nice to see you . I usually ov CD15 or CD16, so maybe all is not lost. I can feel the egg hatching aches, but on reflection they started yesterday . My cycle is 26-32 days depending on ov of course! And if you remembered everyone's cycles you would be a genius (maybe you are a genius ). I am not remotely upset that you don't recall, and you are a very good virtual friend, especially as you have the champagne .
