Just an update -

I had some more blood tests done today in which the hcg levels have slightly dropped compared to my blood test on Thursday, indicating a loss. But they are low enough that they aren't worried about an ectopic etc.

Have got to have bloods repeated Friday to confirm! Thanks all for your well wishes etc xxx

I had a transvaginal scan this year which showed corpus luteum ..

I had my private scan earlier which didn't reveal a gestational sack, however it did pick up something on my ovary which they aren't sure whether it is a cyst, but didn't want to rule out ectopic pregnancy and told me to contact the epu incase.

The sonographer said it may just be too early to detect pregnancy yet and booked me in for another scan in 3 weeks..

I rang the epu and they have got me booked in for a review tomorrow with more bloods and an internal scan. Said it could be a corpus lutum??? Cyst which apparently every women gets when the ovary releases an egg and sticks around during early pregnancy..

99% sure my positive pregnancy tests are from a miscarriage or ectopic. Hopefully have some answers tomorrow 🤞🏼x

I should add this this, when I had the bleeding 2 weeks ago I did do tests which were EXTREMELY faint, the tests are actually way darker now.

But still, my last period was over 6 weeks ago so you'd imagine they'd be dye stealers by now!

@worldwidetravel2017 yes so had a few hours of red spotting 2 weeks ago, and then a few days after that I had about 1.5/2 days of normal period bleeding which just stopped but I had cramps with that.

Since then I have had the tiniest bit of light pink when wiping but nothing other than that!

I have done more pregnancy tests and still positive but still faint - have attached a pic of the one this morning.

They haven't been changing in terms of getting lighter/ darker so who knows what's going on!

Heavy boobs and sore nips are positive signs

You had bleeding when you were away didnt you?

4 me abdomen pain & virginal bleeding were not good

But you may be lucky.

Something like 75 percent of early pregnancies with virginal bleeding are okay

@worldwidetravel2017 yes live in a city, I have a private scan this evening anyway so am not too concerned about waiting until Tuesday. They offered me Monday but I have work commitments annoyingly!

Symptom wise I just have mild aching in my lower back and pelvis, heavy boobs with slightly sore nipples (sorry tmi) and frequent heartburn hah! But whether any of it is related, who knows!

Thats a horrible potential wait - dya live in a city - a & e did hcg bloods 4 me on a sunday - they shouldn't keep you hanging

They sound hopeful by offering you a scan

My scan was cancelled due to hcg levels

The EPU rang me this morning saying I have been referred by the GP, have asked me to go in for a scan next week.

Still haven't heard back from the blood test yesterday but hopefully have some answers by next week what is going on

Maybe you have a fighter and maybe progesterone could help

Equally - hcg can stay in body for 1 - 9 weeks after

Could go either way

@worldwidetravel2017 thank you so much, I am pretty convinced it is a miscarriage, but just want to rule out ectopic and my lines on tests aren't getting any lighter, but equally not getting darker!

Unfortunately it sounds sadly similar to my recent experience & cb digital still saying way less weeks than it would of been due to early miscarriage
Hope you get a better outcome

Equally - if you have had an early miscarriage - do know that when you concieve again - you can get progesterone much quicker when youve already had a miscarriage & thanks to the July 2023 pregnancy loss review - & recent rule changes

@worldwidetravel2017 doctor wasn't sure what was happening, have had a bloody test so will hopefully find out tomorrow or Monday.

We've booked a private scan for tomorrow evening just to put our minds at rest if we don't hear back from the bloods by then.

Sounds a bit likr chemical pregnancy or early miscarriage..

Hey @worldwidetravel2017 thanks for checking in, still testing positive on a few different brands of tests and still getting 1-2 on CB digi, although LMP was 6 weeks ago today..

Have a doctors apt this afternoon so hopefully have a few more answers or pointed in the right direction! Will keep you updated xx
