I think I’m going mad - I’ve had children and never known a strong evaporation line like this , however I’ve done two of these this morning and each time the line hasn’t appeared until twenty minutes after and then continued to get darker , the instructions clearly say disregard any result after ten minutes - so should I ignore ?

Any result that comes up after the designated time should be disregarded as inaccurate. I'd take a FRER and go with the result that comes up within the time frame.

😳😳😳
I'll admit, I wasn't expecting that reply ...
They do say anything that appears after the time frame stated in the instructions should be disregarded, but what made me comment was that line has colour to it.
Of your still having regular periods though, I don't think it's 'impossible' your pregnant ... if it were me, I'd be straight on the phone to the Dr's x

It will be a medical miracle if I am not least because it’s a rare window of opportunity that I can be bothered these days - I’d rather read a book! Hence recently starting hrt (4months ago ) periods had been fairly ok until then , sometimes a few days out either way but it was the flushes etc and lack of sex drive that made me start hrt .. right now I’m feeling quite faint tbh .. frantically googling evaporation lines .. tempted to send the husband out for a digital today

Jings! I don’t think I could wait for Amazon, I’d be back to Tesco pronto!

Pink dye tests are better than blue apparently.

In your case I might just go straight to the GP for a blood test though…

Unfortunately not. The oldest mother I know of was 51. Get a digital test.

Holy mother of crap - Ok I’ve already ordered a digital from Amazon , I felt absolutely ridiculous going into Tesco yesterday to buy this !! My youngest is a teen and my eldest is thirty and I’m a grandmother!

I’ve no idea ! I’m fifty years old and peri meno or so I assumed ! I’m on hrt and my period which comes regularly on it is now a week late .. surely it’s impossible for me to be pregnant !!!!
