Look at this test !

I think I’m going mad - I’ve had children and never known a strong evaporation line like this , however I’ve done two of these this morning and each time the line hasn’t appeared until twenty minutes after and then continued to get darker , the instructions clearly say disregard any result after ten minutes - so should I ignore ?

Yes I had no idea until I googled this morning .. what a shocker ! I’ll do the digital tomorrow to 100 per cent be sure but if even that’s positive I’m less inclined to think pregnancy now - which is a relief !

Yes if I was actively ttc I’d be devastated to get evap lines like this - it Would be so disappointing 😞

Sadly my rubbish supermarket had no first response and only supermarket own or damn CB .. bought two of the cheap supermarket ones .. pink dye ones and have done one - very negative looking after five mins (binned to avoid looking again ) so I’m hoping I’ve been the victim of the bloody awful evap lines ! I do have a digital coming tomorrow so I’ll do that because it will be a firm answer however I feel more relieved now but god knows where AF is .. never been this late and had fairly regular ones before hitting hrt four months ago and then it became regular as clockwork .. now a week late so if tomorrows Digital is negative will have a chat with my gp. Currently drinking a cup of sweet tea for my nerves 😂

I think it looks like an evap line tbh but if it was me I'd certainly be re-testing with a pink dye just to make sure!

It is very dark for an evap line ?? Def try a digital as I think that’s the only way to know for sure and good luck x

Absolutely negative, I wouldn’t worry if I were you. The line is too thin and not evenly coloured, classic Clearblue evap.

I’m afraid I also had an identical line like and it turned out that I wasn’t pregnant. They look so convincing as well, but the line is thin and faded at one side, usually a good indicator that it’s not a line showing a positive result.

I would say it's likely to be a false positive due to time frame and being a blue dye test. I had a very similar result on blue dye ones previously and definitely wasn't pregnant. But having said that, I think taking a further test is the best plan. Pink dye if possible or digital (or both!)
Good luck OP. If you still aren't sure after this next test give your GP a visit and ask them to do a blood test for you to put your mind at rest.
I, like everyone else here, am on the edge of my seat waiting for the answer for you!

as it’s out of the time frame then I would normally disregard but they do look particularly dark evaps! 🤔

I think you can disregard that result because it was well out of the time frame, OP.

Also, hCG can be raised by in the menopause, so as pregnancy is almost unheard of at your age..........I do not think you are pregnant.

The only issue with a digital issue is they need a higher level of hcg to show a positive than a line test so if your tests aren't showing lines until after the timeframe I wouldn't expect a high level of hcg. I would try an 'early' pink dye test to confirm the result either way.

I’m hoping it’s one of those evil evaporation lines ! Apparently from searching within MN it seems clear blue have a bad rep for these appearing quite quickly

All my blue dyes had those lines after the designated times. Anytime I was truly pregnant it came up within the time frame

Hoping that’s the case but must admit I never had it with negative blue dye tests before
