TTC baby #2

Saw 3 magpies on two separate occasions on my way to work this morning. 😬
Let's hope the universe isn't just playing tricks on me with stuff like this and how I'm feeling!
And still, we wait....

ive enhanced the photo but does anyone else see a line?!! I think I do!! DH says he can't but I can see it really faintly in the right light

@SRyellow good luck for testing tomorrow. Good to know the herbs moved ovulation forward. I am getting to know my cycle on herbs atm, I was only recording periods and ov pain before. Kicking myself for not temping before TTC but it was quite a bolt-from-the-blue unexpected decision!
on CD 14 and my 6th day of EWCM and getting lots of odd pains, hope ov is near!

agree with all the waiting being pretty draining. Try to keep my mind on other things but it’s hard.

BFN for me this morning at 11dpo on a frer. @justkeepswimming2701 completely agree, deflating is the word! And this was only the first cycle TTC#2 for me so shouldn't be too surprised but there's always a bit of hope isn't there. On to the next cycle!

@ajayelbee hi! Had a bfn this morning so am expecting my period tomorrow. Trying to move on from the deflating feeling of the whole cycle of waiting starting again (waiting for my period, waiting to ovulate, waiting to see the outcome…🤦🏻‍♀️) where abouts in the cycle are you?

Hi! We had a DD in January 2021 and are now moving on to cycle 4 of ttc baby number #2. Glad to have found a thread like this as it’s good to talk to people in similar situations!

@ajayelbee - I'm 9po tomorrow and will probably test then! And same! I got pregnant with DD on the cycle with acupuncture and herbs. No idea if it was that but like you say if nothing else it's relaxing which I think we all need when ttc!! Will be crossing fingers for you on Sunday x

@SRyellow I’ll be 9DPO on Sunday, which is when I got an exceptionally faint line with my DS. So I’ll probably test then even though I know I should wait for a bit longer!

I had acupuncture the cycle I got pregnant with DS! Even if that didn’t actually help I always found it so relaxing!

@CurlyWurly1991 I haven't used herbs yet but I'm only on cycle 2 and I think if I don't have any luck this month, I might try herbs again. I took them alongside acupuncture before. I was ov cd21 before but after herbs it became earlier and now since tracking again this time around, it's still around cd16 now, which is great.

@ajayelbee tww is the worst! Will you test soon?

@RosieS22 I know right! I’d forgotten what the tww feels like 🤣 I’m a bit nauseous this morning… I know it’s far too early to symptom spot but I just can’t help myself!

I'm CD17 1DPO according to Flo.
I tracked BBT last time but not started that yet. Couldn't get on with OPKs.
Trying to be more relaxed this time and just see what happens. But I'm already here and symptom spotting etc! 🤦🏼‍♀️ This is going to be a long TWW!!

@CurlyWurly1991 fingers crossed for ov soon. I took herbs when trying for my first and I honestly think they massively helped as I fell pregnant after just about 2 months of taking them - was trying 9 months in total and had really long cycles which the herbs seemed to regulate.

Anyone tested yet? Dpo 8... feels like it going so slow!!

Checking in, CD 13 here and waiting for ov. Low results on OPKs but EWCM … I never get a positive OPK I think I drink too much water … feel dehydrated if I go more than half an hour without water!!
hoping I will ov this month at least as I’ve had what looks like a fair few Anovulatory cycles, cleared by Gp and medical herbalist has put me on a bunch of herbs including vitex. Second cycle TTC and with the herbs, and first with B6 so fingers crossed I can at least get my temp shift and cross hairs on fertility friend…

I am on cycle one of ttc baby #2. Been putting it off for a while but now is the time! DD is 3y7m.
It took 7months for us the first time round, but I think my cycles were less regular back then. We shall see! Glad to have found a group of you so quickly to talk about this with!! 😬

@Pandabumbles thanks! You’re right, timings and feeling ready are different for everyone! Have you tested yet? When I get to 9DPO I can’t help myself!

@SRyellow the tww is so hard isn’t it. I forgot how it feels like literally forever!

Hey ive been quiet for a while as I've been away with no reception but I'm back home now, it's made the first part of the TWW go quick 😅 I'm CD18 and either 4 or 5dpo, Femometer says I ovulated CD13 but fertility friend CD14. Been having lots of sharps twinges and cramps today so hope that means something! Had no EWCM this cycle though which is strange as before having DD I always had lots of EWCM around ovulation

@ajayelbee welcome! My dd was a terrible sleeper too so ended up waiting longer than I thought I would and now I feel impatient!

@ajayelbee did you test? I'm 7 dpo. I know it's a bit pointless as so early but I did a hcg stick this morning and it was expectedly blank. I'm not feeling pregnant either but still hoping! I hate this waiting part!

@ajayelbee welcome! I think it's just about when you're ready, it's it feels right at 10 months then go for it! I always thought its have a closer gap (there's only 15 months between me and my sister) but DS was such a bad sleeper we were broken for a little while! He's sleeping though the night most of the time now so we feel like we've got more head space for it! Baby dust to you!

I’m cycle 1 ttc #2! My DS is just about to be 10 months. It took a few cycles with him, so we thought we’d start now as we decided we’d like a smaller age gap if it all
works out. Now that I’m 2DPO I’m wondering if I’m slightly insane for going for it right now! You all seem to have much bigger gaps than that! 😬

I’m still breastfeeding DS, so even though I’ve got my period back it’s irregular and I’m not sure how it will go! I got a peak OPK this month, which I haven’t since having DS, but not tracking BBT so haven’t confirmed that I actually ovulated but maybe!

I’m a terrible symptom spotter and chronic early tester, but I’m going to try to just chill out a bit more about it this time 🫣

Hi all can I join? I'm ttc #2 first cycle of trying and currently 9dpo! DS1 is 18 months. I'm planning to test tomorrow morning I think... although I don't feel pregnant at all so not sure if I should just wait a couple of days for AF to turn up around Wednesday! I have no patience, pretty sure I'll still test early. Baby dust to you all ladies! x

Hey there! I joined in 2020 had baby no1 in 2021 and now first cycle of trying for baby no2. I can't explain it but I was so relaxed first time around about getting pregnant and being pregnant and now I'm a bundle of nerves about it lol. Possibly because my first wasn't particularly straightforward - I ended up having gestational diabetes and pregnancy induced high blood pressure. But here we are, going to give it a go!! I'm heavier than I was first time around so also trying to do a bit of a health kick and eat sensibly. Used ovulation sticks for the first time to track ovulation so I think I'm about 3DPO. Good luck ladies!!!!
