Heya, it is good to be back. I joined mums net in 2020 and fell pregnant after 1 year of trying in 2021. I am now back again trying for baby number 2 (slightly earlier than anticipated as it took so long last time) and looking for a new group of lovely people who are sharing a similar journey :) x

@Bubblesandtroubles I’m the same and would rather wait for AF than test and get negatives.
@ajayelbee I was a bit sceptical of whether the medical herbalist would be much help at first, tbh. However once I had been cleared of any sinister cause by the GP there wasn’t much offered from their side. The herbs actually had a really profound impact on me, highly recommend.

Bubblesandtroubles · 24/06/2023 20:26

*I'd only

Bubblesandtroubles · 24/06/2023 20:26

@ajayelbee im going to try and wait til next weekend if I can. I think AF rather than a negative test is easier to deal with somehow.
And if only either need to test again if negative but early or else worry about it sticking if an early faint line. As crazy as it sends me I think ignorance is slightly more blissful for me.
Just want to fast forward to this time next week!!
When are you testing? 🤞🤞 For when you do. Xx

ajayelbee · 24/06/2023 20:04

Hi @Bubblesandtroubles ! I’m 8dpo too! When do you think you’ll test? The tww can definitely send you a bit mental can’t it! x

ajayelbee · 24/06/2023 20:02

@CurlyWurly1991 thats so good that it’s worked so well. I find non-traditional treatments so interesting and that they can work so well. I had fertility acupuncture when I got pregnant with my DS and made huge changes to my diet too.

@justkeepswimming2701 ah sorry about AF- hopefully cycle 4 will be the one for you!

hi @swirly3468 ! That’s amazing that having your son has evened out your cycles! Whereabouts in your cycle are you at the moment?

Bubblesandtroubles · 24/06/2023 20:01

Hi, can I please join?
Currently 8dpo on cycle 2 of ttc#2. Our first baby is 18 months old.
My husband has probably been ready to try for a while but I wasn't 100% sure even up until ovulation day last month that I was ready. Decided to just go with the flow and leave it to fate.
I was really upset when AF arrived though so that kind of cemented for me that I am ready!
Concerted effort with DTD this month and keeping everything crossed. 🤞🤞
Had v.sore boobs last 2 days but guessing that's too early to really mean anything and just part of the wild mind melting ride that is the TWW!
@SRyellow I hope that lines continues to progress nicely when you next test! Xx

swirly3468 · 24/06/2023 19:24

Hi would love to join . We are a couple of months in trying for baby number 2. Our first baby was IVF after 18 months of trying. Partner has low sperm count and I have PCOS. My cycles were very irregular before but since having my son they are regular for the first time in my life! So deffo ovulating.
We are going to try naturally for a year and then will probably consider fertility treatment again.

justkeepswimming2701 · 24/06/2023 18:39

@Pandabumbles exciting news about your upcoming wedding! Can imagine it’ll definitely help the time pass this month. Hope it’s a lovely day for you both!

@ajayelbee AF started today which actually I feel ok about as (since I’d already had the negatives) I just wanted it to arrive so that I could move onto cycle 4.

@SRyellow congratulations on your BFP! Hope it’s a smooth pregnancy for you!

CurlyWurly1991 · 24/06/2023 17:44

@ajayelbee yes it seems to have done the trick, although also taking a herbal mix from a herbalist (includes agnus castus/Vitex) and on a good b6 complex so hard to say what has been the main factor. Feel good though!

ajayelbee · 24/06/2023 17:36

@Pandabumbles ah congratulations on the wedding, how lovely! Are you as ready as you can be for the day? Love a wedding ❤️

@CurlyWurly1991 have you found that cutting it out has helped your cycles to regulate a bit?

CurlyWurly1991 · 24/06/2023 17:20

@Pandabumbles aww the wedding will be a good distraction!
@SRyellow glad you are still feeling mostly OK and long may it continue.
I’m at CD 18 and think 2DPO, though FF hasn’t identified ov yet I had several signs indicating it. Didn’t sleep well last night and had a busy day so trying to chill a bit this evening. Turned down a night out drinking with friends last night as I’m just not in the right headspace. Actually quit drinking a couple of months ago to TTC, I think it has a big impact on my hormones and probably why my cycles had become very irregular (I also have a liver condition).

Pandabumbles · 24/06/2023 17:05

Just catching up after a few days off!

@SRyellow yay, congrats on the bfp! Everything crossed for a safe journey. Your comment about magpies made me chuckle, we've got loads round us and I'm always on the look out for 3 or 4 😂

@ajayelbee all good thanks! I had a horrific D&V bug this week and finally feeling back to normal today. Today is CD2 of second cycle, feeling fairly chilled re TTC, at the moment at least! Ha. DP and I are getting married next Saturday! So all energies going into that this week... will help the time pass! 😃

ajayelbee · 24/06/2023 16:04

@SRyellow glad you’re feeling normal (good!?) today!

I did a ridiculously early test at 6dpo, but it got rid of the urge 🤣 the tests I have at 10miu, so I probably won’t get anything on that tomorrow either, but 9dpo is much more reasonable to try!

@Pandabumbles @justkeepswimming2701 how are you guys getting on?

Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely Saturday!

SRyellow · 24/06/2023 14:57

@ajayelbee had nausea and migraine yesterday but feel normal today. How are you? Have you managed to wait to test?

How is everyone else?

ajayelbee · 23/06/2023 08:29

@SRyellow congratulations! Fingers crossed the little bean sticks ☺️ how have you been feeling?

I’m alright, apart from a bit of nausea the other day, nothing unusual to report at all.

CurlyWurly1991 · 22/06/2023 15:50

@SRyellow exciting !! Congratulations to you !!!
can you lay off the tests a bit now you have the bfp?
something that seems to be new (compared to when I was pregnant 10 years ago) is that people test every few days to check how much the line progresses… seems v stressful to me but I do understand that we want the reassurance.

SRyellow · 22/06/2023 13:00

I caved of course... it's a bit stronger. Still only 10 dpo but I'm just going to have to wait to see if hcg continues to rise. How are you feeling?

@CurlyWurly1991 temping is such a good indicator. I haven't done it this time as DD usually wakes me really early and I just forget to do it but I did it religiously on first pregnancy.

ajayelbee · 22/06/2023 10:07

@SRyellow did you manage to hold off testing this morning, or did you cave and do one?

How’s everyone else getting on today? x

CurlyWurly1991 · 21/06/2023 14:23

@SRyellow ahh it’s so tempting though isn’t it! I’m the opposite and had a long wait for a positive with my first child. Spotting and negatives until 18dpo on a frer (and that was only faint). Everything was fine just took a while for hormone levels to pick up. However because I was temping before I got the bfp I knew I was probably pg as my temps stayed high.

SRyellow · 21/06/2023 14:19

@CurlyWurly1991 yes 9po, I got a faint around this time last time I was pregnant. I haven't felt anything at all but I have had some cramping today, I'll try not to test for a few days if I can help it.

CurlyWurly1991 · 21/06/2023 12:36

@SRyellow that does look promising! Only 9dpo? Fingers crossed it gets stronger and this is your month. How are you feeling?

RosieS22 · 21/06/2023 11:54

@SRyellow I see a faint line too! Will keep my fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏼

Haha I know! Me and DH saw four at the weekend too. Let's hope it's not twins or even triplets when it does actually happen! 😅
Could you imagine 😳

SRyellow · 21/06/2023 11:48

I really shouldn't test and just wait until the right time.

@RosieS22 3 magpies for a girl 🤞 @ajayelbee not too much longer to wait - it's impossible not to think about!!

ajayelbee · 21/06/2023 09:47

@justkeepswimming2701 @Pandabumbles sorry about your BFNs, it’s so disheartening ttc sometimes.

I’m 5dpo today and just trying to not think about it all the time!

ajayelbee · 21/06/2023 09:41

@SRyellow I see something! How exciting! Hopefully it’ll be stronger tomorrow ☺️ or can you get hold of a more sensitive test?
