Hey :),

Me and my DP have just started our TTC journey for baby #2, we already have our DD who is 18 months, and decided now would be a good time for us to try for #2!, he is very laid back.. I’m not so much. I came off of the pill last month and had a regular period end of last month and finished 1st of this month, I have been using Premom OPK’s this month and the flo app and found my peak LH 2 days ago on the OPK’s, had left side abdominal cramps yesterday so I’m pretty sure I ovulated. We DTD nearly every day (twice yesterday) since the day my fertile window began.

I'm super anxious and just wondered if there were any other women starting their TTC journey feeling the same!

DD was not planned, and I took 25+ pregnancy tests through the beginning of my pregnancy with her from when I found out, because of how bad my anxiety can get (I was so worried about loosing her as I found out I was pregnant super early, 3.5 weeks along). I’m a HUGE overthinking and I just wish I was more laid back like DP!

I know it’s only month 1 and it’s totally normal not to get pregnant for along time yet… I just hope
for the sake of my overthinking brain, it doesn’t take too long. But it is a game of mostly luck.

Hope to hear other women in the same boat or starting their journey, fingers crossed and sending baby dust to everyone, and for a BFP!

i’m going nutty, i don’t think i’ve ovulated still 😭 my opks aren’t positive but i’m worried it’s just that i bought cheap crappy ones so they’re wrong ?? argh

honestly i’d test at 7dpo just for the fun of squinting 😂😂

I've ordered a pack of easy@home’s so I have lots to test with as I know when I start I’ll get addicted to see line progression again like I did with DD, but I’ve also ordered 2x FRER so I can double check for a positive! Definitely the digital confirmation is 🤩 I’m only 5dpo at the moment so got 5 days left 😭, torture.. how many are you?

@Emilyadams98 I am the exact same 😂😂 I did buy loads of cheap internet ones though for when I’m feeling the need 🙈 how many DPO are you now?

im ok. Just trying to stay positive 🙈🙈 which is very hard I think once I take a clear blue digital I will believe it more 🙈🙈

I am terrible and I’d absolutely cave if they were in the house! Lol, I have to take precautionary measures by making sure there’s nothing in the house to temp me to test at 6dpo or something 🤣 I’m feeling okay! Been super all over the place mentally since ovulation but I’m not putting anything down to pregnancy symptoms yet as I wouldn’t have even implanted yet, but it’s so hard to not overthink every tiny possible symptom! How are you feeling? So glad the line is getting darker.. here’s to a dye stealer!

@Emilyadams98 im soooo tired and full of cold 😭🙄 my lines are getting darker to. I’m trying not get too excited as we had a chemical in jaunary

How is everyone? 5 dpo now, I’ve just ordered my tests but set the delivery day for Tuesday so I’m 9po when I get them so I’m not tempted to test anywhere earlier than 10 (will I face at 9 who knows) 🤣 I want to use then with my FMU so Tuesday makes sense ready for first thing Wednesday xx

DP was off work as it was the weekend when I ovulated so we were able to do alot of baby dancing 🤣, we were going most nights durin my predicted fertile window too, so fingers crossed!

congratulations both of you!! i’m still waiting for my bloody opk to peak 😂 getting impatient now and dh is also not well so i feel a bit mean pestering him to dtd but he’s away next month bang on my predicted fertile window so i’m really hoping for first try lucky

I’m going to be ordering some easy@home’s too, and some FRER, I used the FRER with DD and they showed me pretty obvious lines at 3.5 weeks pregnant, it was 5 days before AF was due xx

@PeeBeee congratulations!🤩🤩 so exciting see these BFP’s!, I’m 4 dpo now, really starting to drag.. 6 days until I’m going to test, counting them down one by one 🤣, my DD is keeping my mind distracted and stopping me falling into too much obsessing, which is nice!

thats the same as me, I have ordered FRER test that will be delivered Friday so im going to properly test then. ha ill be joining you on the week of testing xx

@Soph2512 10dpo today - the easy@home was alot fainter yesterday so happy it’s progressing so far🥰 I won’t be 4 weeks until sat/sun so que a week long of testing everyday🥴xx

i’ve got my bfp - in disbelief and not 4 weeks until the weekend so the anxiety has kicked in and the obsessive line progression will begin! @Emilyadams98 what dpo are you now? Xx

i couldn’t resist not testing and took a test yesterday pm..

Can see a faint line!!! Please keep us updated, Fingers crossed for you! So exciting.. I’m currently 4dpo.. going to try my best not to test until 10, I’m not going to buy any tests until 9dpo so they don’t arrive until 10🤣🤣 otherwise I’ll cave!xx

I got a positive at 10DPO, I have tried to be super good this month, No OPK's and im not testing until AF is due on friday! but I defiantly want too. We have a chemical in January and Found out at 9DPO but lost the baby at 16DPO and have become a bit obsessed since then

CD 18 of cycle 1 for me! 1 dpo (if I ovulated yesterday as I’m 99% sure I did), fingers crossed for you, I was thinking it would take a few months to get back into a regular cycle for me too when coming off of the pill, but I had a normal 7 day (pretty painful as they are when off contraception for me) period and experience my first ever ovulation cramping yesterday!

The anxiety is torturous isn’t it!

@PeeBeee wow!! That is super similar.. I did a pregnancy test just to take precaution - didn’t expect it to be positive at all! I still have all the tests lol, there is so many but I was so worried about that BFP fading.. we also had a 6 weeks early scan to make sure it was ectopic and everything was healthy and as it should be (and that I was indeed pregnant and wasn’t being tricked lol), will probably do that this time round too.

Exactly the same here, I hear a lot of women taking a year plus to conceive and oh my gosh I don’t know how I would cope with it to be honest.. I’m trying so hard not to get my hopes up, but each month with all the OPK’s and planning your baby dance right and the TWW (first day of this for me and I’m already stressed lol) to try get pregnant it’s really hard not to feel gutted! It feels like a really long winded process and it’s only month 1! So I couldn’t imagine doing this 12+ times…

@OopsieeDaisy 18 months… gosh! Hats off to you that must of felt super long. Sending lots of baby dust your way… my anxiety is awful I’m really hoping it doesn’t take too long. We go pregnant with DD after 2 months off of the pill (I wanted a break as had been on it for period pain since 15 and I was 22 to see how my body would regulate and if the pain was still bad, I was about to start it again when I found out I was pregnant w DD!), so hoping it doesn’t take long for us again, but of course it is about luck isn’t it! Can take super long with one, and then a long time with another!

That was suppose to say and a short amount of time with another 🫣 terrible 2’s has onset early w DD lol.. tired mumma.
