Would anyone like to join me? I have had 3 losses in the past year last one being 3 weeks ago. I saw a private doctor last week so waiting for results of blood tests and in the meantime she told me to keep trying so that's what we're doing! I'm hoping I might ovulate soon 🤞🏼

@bringmearainbow @MummaDaisy I totally get the whole wanting AF to just arrive, that’s how I felt when I was on holiday.

Just did the first OPK this afternoon, quite low at the moment so shall see how it goes over the next few days x

MummaDaisy · 19/06/2023 15:34

@bringmearainbow
thanks❤️ No AF hasn’t started yet but predicted for tomorrow and feeling a bit crampy so assume she is on her way😫

just want it to start already so I can get on with my next cycle 😫

bringmearainbow · 19/06/2023 13:58

@MummaDaisy oh lovely I'm so sorry to hear that it's really crappy ❤️ sending love. Has AF started yet? I think our bodies can sometimes take a couple of months to recover. I totally get the frustration with waiting for that though I have never been good at waiting after. I had an enforced one in feb as DH went away in FW and it really upset me but probably did my body some good.

@J2023xx oooh that's fab! Better get busy. 🙊 Have you started opks?

I'm just waiting for AF hopefully she's going to arrive weds or Thurs and then if she could make sure she expels that left over tissue too that would be great 🤞🏼😬

Hi everyone how are you doing?

I’m on CD8, usually ovulate between CD12-14 but been around day 14 recently so getting ready to try again.

MummaDaisy · 17/06/2023 10:47

@J2023xx thank you❤️
it really is so hard :(
on the bright side I have my recurrent miscarriage clinic appointment on the 27th and your not supposed to be pregnant anyway.. but it still hurts.
hopefully they can figure out what’s wrong. I’ve never felt so empty than I do right now. It’s like I knew these things happen but I naively didn’t think it was going to be me- I always did everything right and I still do.

the appointment is only online so they won’t do much but hopefully I can give them background as I already have a few things I feel could be wrong…

J2023xx · 17/06/2023 10:39

@MummaDaisy I’m so sorry and please don’t apologise, this is exactly the place for you to share how you’re feeling. We all understand in our different ways, I know exactly what you mean about waiting or taking a break but time when trying to conceive feels like forever doesn’t it.

Be kind to yourself this weekend xx

MummaDaisy · 17/06/2023 09:48

@bringmearainbow i know it’s not good news that one test have come back abnormal but at least the bright side is you’ll have something new to try when you TTC and this could very well be the remedy to your rainbow!

unfortunately I did test again 2 days after my first faint positive (yesterday) and there was no progression… the same happened last month and I got my period on time so I’m just waiting for my period to come now. I tested with cheap strips this morning and nothing has progressed and I feel like there’s nothing there now at 12DPO- I should’ve been seeing more by now.

pretty sure this is now my second chemical so 4th miscarriage. I feel so defeated. The last 2 months have been me getting my hopes up by early testing and then having it ripped away from me not even days later. I just feel like I can’t keep doing this but I’m conflicted because I want a baby.

Not sure wether my body needs a break. Or maybe my progesterone is not doing well since the 14 week miscarriage but nothing has stuck the last 2 months and I feel like giving up. I want to give my body a break but the wait just feels so long. Even the next TWW feels like years away.

I don’t know wether to keep trying because I feel heartbroken everytime.

sorry to being such a downer in this thread :( just hoped it would be my month and didn’t expect another chemical.

bringmearainbow · 15/06/2023 14:36

@MummaDaisy did you test again today? Handy you work at the hospital!

Hey ladies well got my blood results today. Positive for protein c which is the blood clotting one so will be on clexane can't wait to inject those everyday for 8 weeks, my rheumatoid factor was also high which she said is something to do with autoimmune disease. She did say because I still have that bit of tissue it might be worth redoing the rheumatoid one in 4-6 weeks but in any case it's treated with steroids like my high antibodies. So going forward I will have my period repeat the ultrasound to see that hopefully there's no tissue left once there's no tissue do a repeat blood test for the rheumatoid factor and then see her again with the results. She's prescribed me steroids, blood thinners and progesterone for next positive. It's nice to have some answers

@bringmearainbow thank you so much❤️I wish it was stronger but that’s what I get for testing so early 😂

I requested my GP to refer me to the EPU - which is the hospital I work at and I’m there tomorrow so hopefully they’ll see me soon🤞🏽I’ve asked for hcg and progesterone and I think because my previous pregnancy had a chromosome abnormality they will monitor me closely - or at least for reassurance on my end I hope!

My partner is at work and I haven’t even told him yet 😬😂I really want to but he told me not to test for a while but I caved😂it’s also Father’s Day in a few days so it would be nice if suprise him…

bringmearainbow · 14/06/2023 14:26

@MummaDaisy ahhhhh that's amazing and I can def see something ❤️ congrats! Will the EPU monitor you?

Hey everyone-
just to update I took a cheap strip test this morning and felt like I saw something so decided to use my first response at 9DPO and there’s a line!!!!
this is the same point I had my BFP last pregnancy too!
hopefully it’s a sticky baby and the lines progress 🤞🏽

it’s very hard to see in the photo but it’s definitely there and pink!

MummaDaisy · 12/06/2023 18:00

@bringmearainbow yeah I tested at what I think was 7dpo this morning (could be more or less lol) but BFN. I knew that would be the case so I don’t know why I did it 😂
I wanna take a FRER but don’t wanna waste it as I honestly have no clue when I ovulated. I tested am and pm with opk’s but it never went as dark as control line so basing off the darkest line I got (Saturday pm) I would’ve thought I ovulated Sunday or Monday 🤷🏽‍♀️I’ve also had raised temp longer than that but dunno if it’s because of the weather 😂🥲

has anyone got any experience using the premom orange test strips? I feel like they’ve never been that sensitive and not sure wether those would pick up pregnancy early or would I be better off waiting to use those and doing a FRER on Wednesday as planned?

bringmearainbow · 12/06/2023 14:23

@J2023xx ooh lovely I don't think you'll be disappointed with the weather back home it's glorious ☀️ almost bordering on too hot when you can't just sit next to a pool though 😂 we haven't booked yet we were looking at Greece or turkey. I have one specific week I can go at work otherwise we will end up going in school holidays which as we don't need to I don't want to pay for 😬 I leave it up to DH to find us somewhere because I'm awful at picking out holiday 🙈

OP posts:
J2023xx · 12/06/2023 14:18

@bringmearainbow we’re in Rhodes, it’s lovely 😊 back tomorrow evening but seems as though the weather back home will be nice for the rest of the week so that’s good! Where are you heading off to?

yes I can imagine that’s quite a wait, I would definitely be impatient too! Xx

bringmearainbow · 12/06/2023 14:07

@MummaDaisy did you hold out or test this morning?

@chasingtherainbow1 thank you and congrats. I read the book after my first and have been taking a fortunes worth of vitamins since it's a really interesting read I thought.

@J2023xx oooh you anywhere nice? Holidays are always a good distraction. If I have calculated right I think I will O when we're on holiday. Not sure if that's good timing or not when you're away with a toddler 🤔😂 I'm normally CD 19/20/21 it's a pain having to wait longer I'm not the most patient

OP posts:
J2023xx · 12/06/2023 07:16

@bringmearainbow I have some but not many so need to get more! Thanks I’m on holiday at the moment so that’s keeping me distracted. I usually ovulate sometime between day 12-14, how about you?

chasingtherainbow1 · 11/06/2023 23:27

Just dropping in to say I also had 3 losses before my daughter was born in April. I remember after having 3 feeling really deflated and like it would never happen for me so just wanted to give you all a success story.

I'm not sure what made it successful but k was taking all the vitamins from Ot Starts With an Egg for 6 months and also took progesterone pessaries from 3dpo to 16 weeks for my successful pregnancy.

Good luck on future pregnancies!

MummaDaisy · 11/06/2023 16:09

@bringmearainbow
yeah ive definitely been symptom spotting! I have the occasional twinges of pain and cramps and I’m like oh that could be implantation! And I have some VERY vivid dreams last night and they were about pregnancy so I’m hoping 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

bringmearainbow · 11/06/2023 15:37

@Teapleasemilknosugar thank you and congrats ❤️ it's nice to hear positive stories!

@J2023xx ahhh glad your feeling ready to get on the TTC wagon. I still have a tonne from last time but I'm sure it won't take me long to get through them 🙈 hope AF isn't too bad for you have to say I'm not looking forward to mine arriving think it's going to be a rubbish one 😅 what CD do you normally O?

OP posts:
J2023xx · 11/06/2023 15:14

@Teapleasemilknosugar so sorry for your losses. Thank you for sharing what you’ve been through, it gives me hope for the future and congratulations on your baby ❤️

How’s everyone doing?

AF arrived today, this will be my second period since my second miscarriage and after a bit of a break we are ready to start TTC again, time to order some more OPKs xx

Teapleasemilknosugar · 11/06/2023 14:08

I haven't read the whole thread just the OP at the start and wanted to give some hope ❤️ I spent 2022 pregnant and miscarrying, not a single month unaffected, with back to back spontaneous losses. It's so heart breaking and the emotional toll is massive. I had all the blood tests and scans and they turned up nothing.
But I'm currently sat pinned under my newborn after a very anxious pregnancy that started with a threatened miscarriage and then followed taking twice daily progesterone suppositories up until 16w, here I am.
I was in your shoes last year and just wanted to wish you all the best for your TTC journey, be kind to yourselves!

bringmearainbow · 11/06/2023 13:59

@MummaDaisy ahhh yea good plan this last pregnancy I was so off from 7dpo I felt so not myself and I knew I was but nothing showed until 10dpo it was weird to know before I had a second line 😂

OP posts:
MummaDaisy · 11/06/2023 13:45

@bringmearainbow not done any cheap strips yet but definitely have been tempted to. But I know I’d just hurt my own feelings as it would be a BFN. I think I’m either 7/8DPO today and last time my first positive was 9DPO PM but it was so so so faint that I didn’t even tell my partner until I confirmed it the next day 😂😂I only have one FRER so I don’t wanna do it today or even tomorrow but I think I’ll start doing the cheap strip tests tomorrow morning :)
I’ll keep you updated 🤞🏽

im hoping the next few weeks goes by quickly for you and you can start trying 🎉x

bringmearainbow · 11/06/2023 13:29

@MummaDaisy how you getting on have you done any cheap strips yet?

My opk is on the rise think it will peak tonight 🤞🏼 least then I know and will be 11/12 days away and we can start trying properly
