TTC after recurrent loss

How's everyone doing? I'm due AF again now, day 27 of my cycle and usually come on on day 27, but no sign. Tested bfn this morning though so will just be later than usual!

@bringmearainbow yeah definitely, I’m still
holding onto hope as my symptoms are getting stronger and no bleeding which is the furthest I’ve made it in a pregnancy without bleeding🤞🏽I’m holding onto my original dates as last time I caught up so I’m also nearly 7 weeks so it is going by fast. My next scan is in 12 days so hopefully everything goes well then ❤️

i actually had a scan this morning thinking I was 6+2, but they said I’m measuring 5+3 and there is no heartbeat. Of course I’m slightly worried now and just don’t know what to think, but this happened last time when I was supposed to be 6+4 but measured 5+5 and she made it to 14 weeks and caught up with what I thought. Also my cycles aren’t 28 days so they’re saying it’s likely I’m a few days behind what I thought anyway and I don’t know when I ovulated. so I am trying to be calm but I’m just so worried.

feels like this pregnancy has been very eventful already and I hope this isn’t the end :(

@MummaDaisy thank you 😘 I tested today as I had some friends over and if it was negative then I planned to have a drink. I really hope the line progresses throughout this week 😊

I know it’s early but it all depends when you implanted and everyone hcg isn’t the same so its definitely likely to be a positive!!

I tested and am quite shocked to be honest! Very tentative as it’s so early though (9 DPO) xx

I’m 8 DPO today - resisted testing this morning as had to be up early for acupuncture but I might test tomorrow 🙊

after all the panic myself with the tests not progressing, I never got my period and am currently closing in on 6 weeks which is amazing. It is officially my 2nd most successful pregnancy so I am trying to remain hopefully everything will be ok🤞🏽❤️Looking forward to you ladies joining me 🎉🎉

Hey @bringmearainbow 👋 I'm so sorry to see that you've had another loss.

I found I was pregnant again in Jan after 2 second trimester losses last year but after a bit of bleeding, found out in Feb that it was a caesarean scar ectopic. Took a month of intense monitoring and treatment and eventually surgery in March for it all to be resolved and I eventually got the all clear in May. Have been advised by the ectopic consultant to leave it 4-6 months to try again. Had the debrief from the 16 week loss and that consultant advised me to wait a year from the surgery.
However, I'm 40 in March so they've both told me I also have to weigh up the ongoing increased risk of miscarriage from my age so it's my decision when to try again, but leave 3 months from the methotrexate as a minimum.

I don't think I can leave the possibility of this third baby behind so plan to try again after this next period which will be 4 months post methotrexate. I can already feel the madness seeping in, I would quite like to pee on a stick for some reason 🤣

My last loss was a few months ago but I haven’t managed to fall pregnant again and I am currently in AF week. I have my test results already I have APS and low progesterone

Hi all, sorry we are all part of this club and hopefully we get our rainbow babies soon. I too have had 3 losses and had my appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic this week. If I do manage to get pregnant again it’s progesterone aspirin and heparin for me

I have quite a short luteal phase usually around 11 days, I think I will test next weekend (couple of days before period due) as I’m seeing some friends Sunday and potentially may have a drink if AF is on the way! Just a week of work to get through until we know I guess! X
