4DPO yet again, are you with me?

Today's 4DPO. This is second TWW after a miscarriage and that was the first time I was pregnant :(

First TWW after the miscarriage was very hard and very emotional for me, i was symptom spotting every little thing. This time around I feel calmer but its still 4DPO and my brain knows its too early for HcG to be there but not sure how I will be from 10DPO onwards.

Who else here is going through the TWW and how are you coping?

@TT82 im glad to hear you are feeling good on the supplements!!

I am ok thank you, had a private scan last week and all was good. I have my NHS 12 week scan next week so keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻

Great news, really happy for you 🥰

@ManchesterRoad thank you! Was really done after receiving the results, but now better. Funny after all these supplements etc I feel super young, very even predictable cycle, lots of energy etc. ☺️
How are you doing? Had your scans?

ManchesterRoad · 11/10/2023 14:20

Hi @TT82 i am so sorry to hear that and keeping everything crossed for you in November. How are you feeling?

TT82 · 11/10/2023 07:38

Hi, how is everyone doing? Not sure if you are still around here

Quick update from my side: all 4 embryos came back abnormal, so no transfer for me. In mid-November will start 2 egg collection and then will see what's next..

TT82 · 26/08/2023 08:14

@ManchesterRoad fully understand! I also was doing 6+w scan privately...,too long to wait for 12w. Take good care of yourself xx

ManchesterRoad · 25/08/2023 22:18

@TT82 it wont be until October although I’m thinking I may book a private scan before in the hope it will reassure me.

my first midwife appointment is booked in for the end of September.

TT82 · 25/08/2023 19:15

@Letsgotitans oh so sorry to read about your ectopic!! 😔 be gentle to yourself, lots of hugs xx

TT82 · 25/08/2023 19:13

@ManchesterRoad when is your scan? Hopefully after you see on the screen you can relax a bit 🥰 though worries will stay for many many years, they are just changing 😅

Letsgotitans · 24/08/2023 19:33

@bunnynbear i was sorry to read of your ectopic. I joined your thread ages ago! I've just come out of surgery for my ectopic which fortunately was caught early

ManchesterRoad · 24/08/2023 18:51

@bunnynbear i am so sorry to hear you have been having such a tough time. I hope you have had good support from the hospital and your short break has helped you feel a bit better. It is so unfair that these things happen and it just makes no sense does it?

@TT82 so glad to read a positive update - you are definitely one step closer to your baby!!

I am ok, still extremely early days at 5w1d so just trying to mentally prepare for every situation I can think of but hoping so much for a positive outcome.

TT82 · 24/08/2023 16:40

@bunnynbear thank you!
All these for testing are already 5 days embryos, already fertilised. If any are good we will decide if to proceed to defrosting a good one and transferring for implantation or to continue another cycle of creating embryos.. As even if it is normal genetically there is risk of non-implanting (like normal pregnancy), or damaging during de-frosting etc. Better to have a few, especially at my age.
So more waiting and stress to come 🙈

bunnynbear · 24/08/2023 16:07

@TT82 wow that’s great! It’s good little steps to the end goal. After 4-6 weeks, will they be able to do the insemination? It all sounds very exciting. Please keep updating, I really can’t wait to hear good news from you 😊

@bunnynbear hi, glad to hear you are recovering! ❤️ hope they give you a clear green light for trying again..

I got a very pleasant surprise! So all 8 eggs were fertilised and 4 got to day-5 blastocyst. So they sampled all 4 and sent them, I am paying min for 4 and per esch additional. Testing will last 4-6weeks unfortunately, but we will be doing second EC in a month or so. I need statistically min 7 to test... or actually 10!

bunnynbear · 24/08/2023 10:06

Hi all,

sorry for the super late response. We went away for a short break for my birthday and to reset. My hcg levels have dropped and pos tests are negative so it’s a safe assumption that I don’t need surgery. We’ve got conflicting advice/information on when we can start trying again.

thank you all for the support. It’s been very hard this time and my energy levels have plummeted so much. I feel like a shell of myself.

@TT82 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 have you heard back from the dr yet?

@Lemonbell im sorry you’re going through this too. It’s so hard. Take time to yourself. This time round I didn’t go into work for 2-3 weeks which helped me more.

@ManchesterRoad thats good news, 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 it’s gotten darker. How are your symptoms?

@Laylattc thank you, how are you getting on?

@ManchesterRoad thank you! ❤️

ManchesterRoad · 17/08/2023 18:05

@Lemonbell i am so so sorry to hear that!

@TT82 oh gosh it’s the waiting I think that’s the worst. I’m sure you just want to get to Thursday and know what is what. Keeping everything crossed for you xx

TT82 · 17/08/2023 12:36

@ManchesterRoad I had EC on Monday, only know they collected 8 (dr said she expected more so will increase the dose). But I won't be getting any updates till next Thursday!! Then they will tell me how many if at all made it to day 5 and they managed to take sample for PGTA testing... So nothing I can do. I read that my age 1:6 is normal day 5... So I need at least 7! And dr said if 1 can get to day 5 already a good outcome 😳 So looks like it will be cycle after cycle....

TT82 · 17/08/2023 12:33

@Lemonbell oh so sorry to hear it!!! And 6th 😔 Are they chemicals or mc after 6week? Do dr have the idea why? Age? In my case it is age, mine were chemicals before 6w, and still I wantedto die every time 😭
Lots og hugs and please look after yourself

TT82 · 17/08/2023 12:29

@ManchesterRoad oooooo I want to say congratulations but I know better we wait after AF and know for sure all good! But faint positive is already a good news xx

Hi @TT82 how are you getting on?

I have a faint positive, although it’s very early and I haven’t missed my period yet so we will see.
