5dpo today and been super bloated today and yesterday. Cursing my past self for not being more attentive to my body in previous cycles and what it does 😂

Possibly more than usual CM today, sorry for tmi 😂

@SimplyChic not sure yet although I had some cramping today but thought it could be anxiety 😟

MLN89 · 18/06/2023 13:11

Hi ladies,

I've been lurking for a while but now officially ready to jump on the bandwagon if you'll have me?

I'm TTC #2 and already have a daughter who is just over 2.

I've been off my pill for a couple of months just to try and get an idea what's happening with my cycle but being careful to avoid fertile days as I just got married last week and didn't want to be pregnant for the wedding 😂

I'm on CD 10 according to Flo and that's predicting ovulation on the 24th.

I'm going to take a relaxed approach this month and not do any ovulation tests or anything and just see what happens. If nothing then I'll start with the ovulation tests next month.

Anyone remotely near me cycle wise?

Thanks and good luck to you all ❤️

SimplyChic · 18/06/2023 12:59

@Favofit have you felt any symptoms yet? I know it's still early though 😂 I had horrendous backaches yesterday which I don't usually get.

Favofit · 18/06/2023 12:31

@SimplyChic hello , I'm 5DPO very close and this feels like the slowest time ever.

SimplyChic · 18/06/2023 12:15

Hi everyone, hope it's ok to join.

Currently in the TWW at about 4dpo. It's so slow going.

PineappleK · 18/06/2023 11:13

@Kat7542 yes looks normal, I agree with @Hankthehonk

Some people have a short/quick LH peak but retest this afternoon, especially if you can hold it in for a few hours! My LH peak comes and goes so quickly I've never caught it but I know I ovulate

Hankthehonk · 18/06/2023 10:45

@Kat7542 This is totally normal, my peaks look like this. You are probably ovulating today as it looks like this peak was yesterday

Kat7542 · 18/06/2023 09:41

Is it weird to peak for only 1 day with LH, not 2? 🤔
Does this mean I don't ovulate? Graph attached (I forgot to do todays temperature)

@Silverpixieflorence I'm 9dpo, I've got one test in the house so wondering about trying first thing tomorrow. I've had zero symptoms and just don't feel like this is the month for us... but guess I'll wait and see! I'll update tomorrow! 😋

I had no symptoms! I just picked up a pack of tests in the shop and just thought I’d take one haha! I wasn’t expecting a line but there was one x

Pandabumbles · 18/06/2023 09:29

@Ns1241 congrats!! Great to see line progression, wishing you a healthy and safe journey!

Omg I can see the line better this morning!! Eeeeek!! Not a BFP yet and praying it sticks! But is now actually slightly visible in a photo, do you guys see this too? Is it in my head 😂 it's pinker in person

I can see a line! How many DPO? I started getting really faint lines at 9DPO

I got a very strong positive today at around 13dpo x

Silverpixieflorence · 18/06/2023 09:21

@Pandabumbles what dpo are you now lovely?

@AnonyHB I used first response early response and ordered from Amazon they seem the most sensitive!

Silverpixieflorence · 18/06/2023 09:19

@Hankthehonk ahh thanks for the tip it does look much better next to the window 😂 due date calculator says 25th of Feb 😅 but I imagine I'll have a planned section after what happened with my DD so think they do them at 39 weeks 🤔 so might miss the leap year if this one sticks and progresses

@Silverpixieflorence yay, line!! That's just like my 11dpo line on a frer with DS1, everything crossed for you lovely!! x

BB2023 · 18/06/2023 09:16

I'm only 4DPO so nothing to report yet! My boobs are sore but thats a normal symptom for me a few days after ovulation so doesn't mean anything! x

BB2023 · 18/06/2023 09:14

Hankthehonk · 18/06/2023 08:42

@AnonyHB The best early test options are first response early result (FRER) or boots early result. They say on the box you can test 6 days or 5 days before missed period respectively. Clear blue also does their version but I trust pink dye tests more so I use boots or frer.

I fell pregnant this month and we only dtd 5 days before ov and on ov day. You're definitely in with a chance!

AnonyHB · 18/06/2023 08:06

Congrats @Silverpixieflorence that's definitely positive!

im not feeling hopeful this month. We only DTD day 9 and 14 as DH in a mood during the week. Day 9 will have been too early. I’m pretty sure I ovulated on day 14 so not completely out but obvs the window is small when you leave it to O day to have sex. I’ve had really tender/sore boobs last few days and some pulling type cramps yesterday so getting very confused. But done two tests both negative (though I’m probably only 9 DPO and have been using Tesco tests which aren’t that sensitive/say you should use from day of missed period. Which tests are better to pick up earlier than day or day before missed period?

Hankthehonk · 18/06/2023 07:52

@Silverpixieflorence I definitely see it! Congratulations 👏 so you're 10dpo? Does that mean potentially a leap year baby?!

You might get an even clearer pic if you take it in natural light, near a window or something. (I'm no stranger to test photoshoots)
