I broke and took a test at 7DPO today. Was it negative...of course! Was I disappointed....absolutely!! 😂Don't know why I do it to myself!

Kellyaust · 23/06/2023 20:54

One minute I'm like wow that's definitely a symptom...i have the feeling... I just know....

Next minute I'm like nah... No chance... Definitely not pregnant.

ive started a July TTC thread for anyone else out this month!

Similar to me - husband doesn't like the pressure/forced feeling of having sex at a particular time. It is more noticeable for us as usually would only have sex every couple of weeks, so it is out of the norm for us to DTD every other day on my fertile week!

This is literally the same as us.

5DPO here and I'm getting so anxious / impatient about this time next week. And I feel so guilty wishing time away as I'm visiting my parents next week, I should be savouring every minute of them spending time with their little granddaughter, not wishing the week to end 🙈

Pittiemama · 23/06/2023 12:14

Think im more than likely out this month as i dont know when i ovulated off the mini pill about 3 months last cycle was only 24 days but ill have to wait and see , something really strange happened though my dog has been resting her head on my lower tummy and trying to get under my tshirt to sniff and lick 😅🤷‍♀️ maybe she knows something i dont

Same for us. We used to DTD once every week or so and now feels like we're craming it all into one week!
I don't tell him when I'm OV to try to keep the pressure off but he must know 🤣

Exactly the same! This is the hardest part - excuse the pun!

So I'm back in the group after BFN!
Got flashing smiley this morning on clearblue advanced.
Any recommendations when to DTD going forward please?

Husband seems to struggle a bit with the pressure these days so it's not as easy to just do it all the time 😫😫 any advice in this area too?
I'm trying not to make a big deal of peak times and tell him it's ok when he doesn't manage to finish (when I'm actually crying inside!)

Kellyaust · 22/06/2023 21:09

@BB2023 thank you so much and it's a long hard wait isn't it 🤞

BB2023 · 22/06/2023 20:31

8DPO tosay, feels like time is really dragging! I only have one test so I'm trying to hold out until Monday when I'll be 12DPO. Very difficult! x

@Laura7899 ah I've just checked, I'm in England, I can do it online and I was looking out of curiosity about if it's possible to increase them.... And this came up.... If its any help

You can encourage your body to naturally raise levels of AMH by eating a diet which is rich in necessary nutrients, such as vitamin D. There is also research that shows women taking the micronutrients present in Impryl actually experienced increased AMH levels.

Laura7899 · 22/06/2023 18:21

@Kellyaust I had to pay privately to have it done I’m in ROI and it cost about €85 to have it done, it’s done via a blood test

Kellyaust · 22/06/2023 17:15

@Laura7899 how did you get your amh checked I've not had mine done so no idea where mines at

Laura7899 · 22/06/2023 16:47

@Kellyaust it all depends on how long the referral takes, tried calling the maternity hospital there to get a general idea of how long the wait is and they couldn’t tell me, hopefully it’s not too long. I’m 33 but with the low amh time really isn’t on my side, fingers crossed though trying to stay positive

Kellyaust · 22/06/2023 16:34

@Laura7899 hmmmm how long do they expect you to stop trying for? How old are you if you don't mind me asking? I won't wait coz I'm 38 now so time isn't on my side... I'm also 5dpo good luck to us 🤞

Laura7899 · 22/06/2023 14:07

Thanks @Kellyaust & sorry for your loss I too thought it would never happen to me. I felt like the Dr this morning just threw a load of information at me it’s the thoughts of having to stop trying to wait for the recurring Mc clinic appointment that’s really getting to me, my AMH is on the lower end for my age so I really feel like I’m up against it, l fingers and toes crossed for us both this month i’m 5DPO today so still early days

Had a doctors appointment this morning and she said if we’ve been successful this round I’ll need to take progesterone and aspirin, also if it’s not positive she said we’ll have to take a break to get my bloods back to baseline before we try again as I’ll need to attend a recurring miscarriage clinic (had MMC in March and chemical last month) I didn’t think the chemical would ‘count’ in germs of the referral but it does, feeling pretty deflated atm, sorry for the rant it’s just good to get these things out

Sorry haven't seen your previous replies just this one. I had my first ever MMC in may, never thought it could happen to me absolutely broken by it. Stopped bleeding 6th june, ovulated 17th June and now 5dpo with heavy cramps wondering if it's still effects of the mmc or could this poss be a quick new pregnancy 🤔 also if I do get preg again I will be given progesterone they said and I was prescribed aspirin anyway because of chronic hypertension. But yeah the guidelines now are you should get progesterone even after only one MC. Fingers crossed for us this month

I felt a bit crampy (coinciding with a BBT temperature dip) yesterday/this morning... keeping fingers crossed, but very much aware that it could all be coincidence! Plus, it would be quite early for implantation (but I coincidentally had the same early dip with my last pregnancy and I think it must have been early implantation because I tested positive, very clearly, at 8dpo....). Hmm... 🤔
