Telling myself I won't test for two weeks but I might not be able to resist.

LATE ovulation this month but hoping next phase is long enough (I usually fluctuate!)

I think we DTD enough 🙏

@Jb2189 omg same!! At home all day resisting testing haha!

I didn't even know chemical pregnancy existing till I came on MN and learned about them. Now I am terrified of that happening so avoiding testing early so I don't get my hopes up in that way.
although does seem can even happy and show on tests around period but it's made me more cautious .

Thank you! Now 8 dpo and the wait is killing me 😂🙈 it doesn't help that I work from home so I'm sat at home all day thinking about it rather than being distracted in an office environment 😂

@OopsieeDaisy I ovulated cd22 this month - plenty of time still!
I am holding off testing till 13dpo to avoid disappointment so next Wednesday . So nervous!

How is everyone in the TWW getting on? And when are you planning to test??

I’ve just done an OPK and it is a good line but still not quite positive, it’s only day 21 for me though and I’ve had cycles up to 37 days before.

@Mangotango39 still no ov, my OPK this morning had a line but not dark enough to be positive so I’ll just keep testing and hopefully it’s in the next couple of days. I’ve heard good things about acupuncture although I’ve never tried it myself. When we conceived dc we used preseed, loosely followed SMEP and I made sure to stay lay down for at least 10 mins after dtd - usually I’m a get up and clean up immediately sort of person 😅oh and I had started taking folic acid. Who knows if any of it made any difference but I definitely prefer feeling a bit more in control!

@BubbleBathLover dc is 9 months now, we’d be really happy with an 18 month age gap but we’re also very aware it could take ages again so didn’t want to leave it too long. How old is yours? NTNP is hard, especially if you’re aware of when you’re ovulating anyway and I can confirm that the not stressing theory does not work for everyone!

I have had some light cramping today but I think I am just being over sensitive to every twinge or possible symptom.

That is really exciting for you especially since it’s a continuing symptom you are having. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

When will you be due to test?

Nipples still so so sore - they are literally like bullets so unusual for me and could be coincidence!

@OopsieeDaisy how old is your little one? My dh is very much of the view that we should be NTNP but I find it so much more stressful!

Any update on your ov? Mine shot up peak out of nowhere this month, no lead up like previously also late. Bodies are strange!

do you remember what worked well before? 😊
if I don't fall this cycle , I might do some acupuncture!

Hi can I join?

Currently on cycle 2 of TTC #2. CD 18 and no sign of ovulation so far using OPKs. My periods have only recently returned post breastfeeding and my cycles were never super regular pre-pregnancy so I’m fully expecting them to be even more all over the place now.

Took us around 18 months to fall pregnant with our first, mostly NTNP until the last couple of months, so this time we’re trying everything that we recall doing last time when we were eventually successful!

Being only 3dpo I would not expect any symptoms at all but omg my nipples are so sore today!!!

my DP was abit like that with the whole 'chill, it will happen' but when I explained the science and fertile window (he had no clue!) he was abit more onboard knowing it's not as simple!

the apps are always wrong for me by themselves - I have to put in the strips and track my peak.

that's so strange about covid - I wonder if others have experienced similar??
I had the flu last week and suspect covid - it delayed my ovulation for sure.

Why is it that when you aren’t ttc you finish your period and before you know it it is back again but when you are in the notorious tww it feels like forever! 😅

Hi, can I join?

This is our first cycle ttc #2. DH wants to keep it chilled and just see what happens (no tracking, planned bd, ovulation tests etc) but I can’t stop thinking about it every minute of everyday and I always keep track of my cycle using the Flo app anyway (although I know this isn’t exactly reliable).

I fell pregnant first cycle when we were trying for ds but this time is different. Since having COVID twice and the vaccinations my cycles have been all over the place ranging from 23 - 37 days.

Based on the app I am 2dpo but I am not sure how accurate that is. I think I have had some of my tell tale symptoms but I can’t be certain.

Yes it's so overwhelming - people say (stupid) things like 'don't stress' and 'don't put your life on hold' but cmon! Not possible!!!

Completely understand! Have you thought of a fertility MOT to help anxiety?
I have pcos so that's always a worry but knowing my levels were ok easied my mind for sure!

I'm currently 2 dpo and the wait is killing me.

3rd cycle TTC, 1st cycle TTC I fell pregnant but sadly ended in a MMC. Never worked last cycle so 3rd time lucky hopefully!
