Thank you darling. That’s a really lovely message. Yes I think my body is just not playing. Interestingly for you, she said with pcos it is so erratic and what works one month, might not the next. And it’s obviously in its ‘back off’ phase at the moment where it’s resistant to it. She said we could carry on another week and throw more drugs at it but it starts to get dangerous when you go over 2 weeks as you’re messing with you natural cycle and body.

unfortunately it’s money out of pocket even if it is cancelled. We’ve had 3 rounds now, totalling £3,600 and we’ve only managed one trigger but it is what it is. We’re in a fortunate position that we can self fund but obviously not for ever and not if it starts messing with our mental health as it has this month.

I weirdly feel calm from it all and I think in my head on Tuesday I knew something wasn’t going right as I could tell and just had a spidey sense. Maybe that July one I predicted after all. The most frustrating thing was that the bloods they did after the trigger and in our TWW showed that we ovulated, it fertilised, it became and embryo and it implanted but just not deep enough to stick. Which I guess is good and bad.

11 months isn't easy but I'm grateful that I get another chance each month and some people have to wait longer and have so much more difficulty so I try not to stress too much! Trying a few different things this month so hopefully it will work! 🤍🤞🏼x

@GeoSmed that sounds like a really good plan. Just take a break, let yourself and your body relax and do some nice things and go back to treatment feeling refreshed.

I hope it's ok to ask.. you're paying privately for this treatment aren't you? When they abandon a cycle, do you get any type of refund or is that it and the money is spent?
I know money isn't the issue here but was just wondering.

I also have LOADS of CB digital tests I've gathered over time and they all go out of date next year. Will probs offer to send someone them if this goes on much longer haha.

Hi all, I’ve been following this thread for awhile, but have never actually posted. I need a bit of an opinion.

I took this test this morning and I think it might be positive? I’m only 10dpo.

I’m currently in a hotel room away with work and have no one to talk to! Also trying to avoid alcohol when I’m usually a very boozey lass, which is very hard without spilling the beans (the beans that I’m not even sure about myself!). What do you guys think? Should I go buy an early test tomorrow?

Call just finished - cancelled the round which I was expecting. Giving my body 3 weeks off and I have an appointment on 23rd to have a scan and see how my body has recovered, and then go from there.
Works fine for me as I have a wedding next weekend and a spa the one after, so perhaps I need a break from it all.

Hope you're all having lovely weekends. I've not caught up on the posts as not had the capacity, but hope you're all planning something distracting for the weekend to take your mind of not buying a test!! 😂I've got lots spare now if you want to come shopping in my cupboard 😆xx

AF showed up unannounced and earlier than expected yesterday so I'm now CD2 and prepping to track again properly soon. I've just bought a thermometer as well so will be checking that as well xx
