@GeoSmed Hahhaha I love that dream! Manifest it baby! I need to work on my manifesting for June. A March baby would be cute! I'm putting it down to his speech developing. Everything is a "phase" 🤣😴 Lucky you avoiding a period! Oh you play golf too, very impressed. I'd suck! 🤣

Also isn't it crazy how you become okay with being poked, prodded and naked? 🤣 I was so prude before Adolf but had a traumatic birth and tons of tests afterwards and now I'm like, whatever? 😅

@GeoSmed Hahhaha no, last night I had some weird pain and I was like, OMG WAIT... and the boom, regular dull period pain resumed. And then bang on 2.30am I felt a gush coming and then Adolf throws a wobbler and it disappears. I wish I was pregnant but I definitely remember feeling zero dull aches and it being completely different 😭 this is textbook PMS for me. I just want to get this show in the road like @dabs9 !@dabs9 I was due to ovulate 20th June but maybe 21st now!

What is everyone up to today? I've had 4 hours sleep so my big plans have morphed into just making it through the day 😅😴

I mean, at least one of us HAS to be right? I had a dream last night that I ovulated naturally. Did a OPK could not be more blank 😂 girl gotta hope!

If we are part of the june club (albeit end for me 🙄) then we’ll have spring chickens all round. Wishful thinking for me anyway. Im
sticking to my July prediction. Is adolf tired or is he like what’s up mum why ya tired?!

@Sealover123 PMA PMS should be our new group name - everyone seems happy to be on 😂 the silver lining for me is I won’t have a period this month so that’s always a bonus!

lush weather here today. doing house admin then playing golf later on. I’ve got nails, lashes and spray tan this coming week for a wedding Saturday so I’m enjoying a day of people not poking me and seeing me naked!
What’s everyone doing? xx

@GeoSmed It's OK, I will be ovulating somewhere between 17-21 June, and we will be on holiday in Rhodes, Greece. So looking forward to some relaxed, slightly tipsy TTC in a beautiful location 😀 😊 😄

Beauuuuuuutiful. Hot holiday sex it is 😂😎

Sealover123 · 04/06/2023 11:31

@LeopardLover I think our cycles are really similar so we will see what happens next month! 😊 if you come on, that is....

Morning ladies. Sorry AF rocked up @Sealover123. @LeopardLover imagine if you’re willing AF to rock up and you’re actually pregnant haha! I am actually willing that is gonna happen! If not, June is defo the place to be!
what dates would you girls be ovulating if you came on this weekend?
@dabs9 I know that the prices nhs charge for ivf if you self fund Vs. Clinic is cheaper! From memory, at my clinic it’s £7500 all in (that includes drugs - a lot miss our the actual drugs in the pricing which is naughty!) but nhs self fund I think it’s £5,500 ish? I have the nhs price list if you want it.

midlands massif - how do you not get meadow hall withdrawals moving up there!!?? Xx

@Annapolis35 I'm half Indian too haha. I had no idea about pcos being more prevalent in Indian women, but that's another reason to add to my list of why I must have it 🤣

Yeah I think for men when they know it's a fertile day it's an instant turn off.. it is for us too if we're being honest with ourselves but easier for us to get on with it regardless lol. Hopefully we have some positive news soon.
It's the not knowing for sure if it will ever happen that ruins my mental health. If I knew that in X amount of months or years we'd be pregnant I could just get on with it.

@Sealover123 I'm sorry AF has arrived for you. Hope you're feeling ok. It's just rubbish.
@LeopardLover I'm with you on willing AF to hurry up. Spotting is getting heavier and she just needs to crack on now. X

Morning @dabs9 @Annapolis35 hey! Hope you’re having a nice Sunday morning. I don’t want to jump on the fertility bandwagon but as @dabs9 knows I’m going through FT atm and have polycystic ovaries (but don’t have the syndrome bit) which I didn’t know you could have! So it may be similar for you? The ‘syndrome’ element is the increase hormones that cause hair growth on the body, insulin resistance, struggle with weight etc which I don’t have, but I have the polycystic ovaries. Might be worth looking into that if your amh bloods were okay? I’ll try find me bloods report if it would be helpful? I’ve been officially diagnosed now so might help. Let me know and sorry to but in! Xx

@LeopardLoverSadly I'm out for this month. AF has arrived this morning with a vengeance; feel awful! 😖 What about you?

Oh I'm sorry 😔 Unfortunately my toddler decided to throw a tantrum at 2.30am (which lasted 3 hours), just as I could feel the pressure of my period! It was awful so I think the stress stopped it 🙄 so now I'll be at least a day behind. Hoping it comes tonight! At least we're all in it together in June. 💪🏻

emmatcc1 · 04/06/2023 10:17

I started tracking bbt again today cd5 took a little break over the af days. I’m thinking of only tracking until ovulation is confirmed so I don’t see the 12dpo drop and overanalyze temps everyday.

Annapolis35 · 04/06/2023 10:02

@dabs9 no scans yet, hoping with referral they might do that. That does seem a lot of follicles. I thought my chin hair was due to darker hair too, I am Indian and all my female family members have same so just thought it was a genetic thing 😂 but having looked it up, PCOS is highly prevalent amongst Indian women.

Gosh your cycles are so variable, that’s just stressful in itself. I can imagine now that the follicular stage is just very very annoying with the waiting! Yeah I think I’ll take a miss from opks this month, it’s just annoying peeing in cups constantly. I also hide it from my husband as it stresses him out and he has problems performing if he knows it’s a peak day, which is fair enough, there’s so much pressure. So anything I can do to make things easier for us both is the right thing to do.

dabs9 · 04/06/2023 09:51

@Annapolis35 oh wow! Our situations couldn't be much more similar if we tried hahaha. I think my mum was about 37 so was a huge relief!
I did have a scan and hycosy and I had 30 follicles (20 in one ovary and 10 in the other) which the Dr said was fine but reading online it seems that's on the higher side.. another reason I think I have pcos. Have you had any scans yet or will that come after fertility pick up your referral?
My BMI is 28 so defos need to lose some weight and I've been getting laser hair removal on my face for years but thought the hair was just due to darker hair.. now questioning it lol.

My cycles have gone to shit since nov/dec last year. I thought it was stress related but don't know for definite. They've been 26-64 days 😅 so I literally have no clue when ovulation is due.. I think sex every other day is a good shout, I think the opks really do cause stress and puts ttc in your mind right from waking up. That's why I stopped with the BBT too. X

Annapolis35 · 04/06/2023 09:39

@dabs9 we are in totally the same situation there, my AMH was 32 which they said was high for a 35 year old. My mum went through menopause at 39 too so I was massively relieved that I am not haha. Yeah doctors also told me not to worry and it won’t make a difference. Did you have any scans? I guess I’ll see what the day 3 tests come back at. I don’t have any usual symptoms of PCOS (I’m quite petite and my cycles vary from 28-31 days, which I’m told is normal) though I do get hairs on my chin—which is joyous 😂

yeah does your ovulation date vary? It’s such a pain. Mine can be anywhere from day 15-18 so have to use opks. We’ve just been having sex every other day around then and maybe once more on peak. Hoping that does the trick! This month I don’t know if I can be bothered with opks, we basically know when ovulation might fall so as long as we cover that period I think it’s ok. I’ll probs change my mind coming up to it though! I feel like I have no energy anymore for it all.

Aw bless you. I also deleted my social media for same reasons and it helped! I keep telling myself that it looks like people have it really easy but that may not be true x

dabs9 · 04/06/2023 09:21

Ooh what was your AMH level?
I'd been worried about early menopause as my mum and grandma both experienced it. My AMH was something around 33 I think and at the time I was concerned about PCOS but was reassured it was fine. The more time goes on and the more I notice symptoms though, I'm sure I do have it.

Yeah it's broken down into 2-3 week intervals and you have the frustration and gut punches in both! Or I find that anyway. Almost find the follicular phase worse than luteal as I just don't know how long it's going to be month to month 🤯

I think everyone feels that way with pregnancy announcements so please don't feel bad. It doesn't mean you're a bad person or not happy for those people. It just means you're sad for yourself and that's ok. I get the same feelings, had to delete my social media for a couple of months as couldn't cope seeing them all and all the bumps. Have to believe it'll be us one day. X

Annapolis35 · 04/06/2023 08:42

@dabs thanks, it is so annoying it hasn’t happened since! But also equally annoying to have not a hint of a bfp since Jan last year for you. The whole thing is just dispiriting really. Soo all our tests have come back normal too, I’m just waiting on day 3 test results and the gp is gonna send off a referral hopefully very soon. The only thing it’s come back with is a high amh level for me which may indicate poly cystic ovaries (but not syndrome)… I do ovulate every month and have fairly regular cycles though.

ooh ok a review in September, and the appointment time doesn’t seem too long. I am not holding my breath, I am expecting this is all gonna take a while.

Haha pissing on sticks! That made me chuckle. I don’t really have any tips I’m afraid! I’ve been trying my hardest not to think about it really, especially in 2ww and I no longer have any expectations each month which has definitely made it a bit easier. We have both said we will keep trying until it happens and it’s just gonna take as long as it takes. I do find living by my menstrual cycle incredibly tough like you, it’s like life gets broken down. I have had a couple of preg announcements recently and they tipped me over the edge though 😂 I felt like a dreadful person for how I felt.

dabs9 · 04/06/2023 08:02

@Annapolis35 i'm so sorry about your miscarriage. It's so frustrating that it happened so quickly but then not again since!
Glad you've managed to get your fertility referral.. when did that get sent? I think up here there's about a 12-16week wait for initial appointment, hopefully it's no longer than that for you.

We also started Jan 22 trying for #1. We've never had a bfp but did get an early referral to fertility due to irregular bleeding and uterine biopsies I've had before.
Husbands SA came back 1% morphology but otherwise we've been told tests have been normal. Just waiting for a review in September which is when fertility clinic have said they'll refer for NHS funded IVF.

I totally get what you mean about feeling can't be arsed. I do feel like that but then the obsessive part of me can't help but piss on sticks every 2 mins!! 😂 but it's all consuming and I spend the pre ovulation stage sad and annoyed because it's taking so long and the post ovulation stage feeling sad and annoyed because I know it's probs another failed month.. there's no let up. I'd love to just switch off from it all but I really don't know how. Tips welcome!

@LeopardLover Got a negative today. Couldn't see any line at all. I got the small cheapies so will try again tomorrow morning. Wish my period would start so we can move on to the next cycle!

Oh sorry you had a BFN. 😔 I feel the same. I'm back to period pains, expecting AF in the night! Maybe we'll both be CD1 by morning! X

Annapolis35 · 03/06/2023 19:30

Aw no problems there’s so many people with lots of histories. Yeah it’s mad there’s only 1! We haven’t got very far yet with fertility stuff. So our story is we’ve been trying since Jan 2022, caught in Feb but miscarried in April last year and not caught since so just got the ball rolling with nhs tests which have been mostly through gp and private. Dundee didn’t have capacity for sperm analysis but our gp did one more blood test and said they’d refer us as I am 35. So I’ll see how that goes but I imagine it’ll all take a while.

thank you for spotting advice! I’ve never known what to do and it’s all so conflicting online.

And yes ttc no. 1 and quite a miserable journey so far and I am a bit numb to it all… like I can’t be arsed to think about it anymore? A bit more “what will be will be” and I’m just fed up of feeling sad about it. How about yourself?

dabs9 · 03/06/2023 18:48

Hi @Annapolis35 I can't actually believe there's only 1 private clinic in the whole of Scotland! 🤯 that's crazy! I bet their waiting list is even longer than the NHS ones.
Did Dundee not have capacity at all?
That did tickle me a bit tho.. can't imagine driving hours just to have a wank and hand over the result 🫣
So far Aberdeen has been ok for what we've needed to this point but will have to see how the rest of our journey goes.

What is your situation if you don't mind me asking? I'm so sorry, I'm sure you've already sent it but I can't keep up 😅 how long have you been ttc? Is this number 1?

And in response to your spotting question.. I have spotting every month before my period starts but I don't count it as AF until I get full flow.. whether that's right or not I don't know 🤷‍♀️ x

Annapolis35 · 03/06/2023 18:09

Hey @dabs9 im also in Scotland but in Perthshire. There is only one private clinic in Scotland and it’s in Glasgow so quite a way from Aberdeen. Tbh I think the nhs board here is a bit of a mess for fertility stuff, our local hospital is Dundee and they didn’t have capacity to do a sperm analysis and wanted us to go to Aberdeen, which is a long way to go for my husband to wank into a cup. We ended up getting it done in Glasgow privately as it’s nearer. Hopefully Aberdeen is a bit better than Dundee (seems it) but these things are such a lottery really

dabs9 · 03/06/2023 15:39

@GeoSmed Arh now I want to go on holiday! Pics look amazing 😍 we loved Sri Lanka but wasn't as boujie as I would've liked for honeymoon lol.

Our NHS clinic does everything including IVF. I don't even know of any private clinics that would do IVF closeby.. have only really looked into self funded via the NHS clinic. I'll need to look into that incase we do decide on private eventually.
I'm originally from Sheffield so not so far from Nottingham 💕

@LeopardLover don't even joke.. that's what happened to my parents! Went for number 3 and ended up getting an extra one hahahhaha xx

GeoSmed · 03/06/2023 15:13

dabs9 · 03/06/2023 14:21

@GeoSmed twins all the way! 🤞
Ours will be NHS funded so unfortunately have to jump through their hoops.
I would 100% look at paying privately but my husband isn't at that point yet.. he wants to wait a bit longer to see if it happens naturally, and of course like a true Scotsman wants to save his money if he can! 😂 we're in Aberdeen.

Jeez that's too many manly things going on at once!! Hope he's got his top off building that lawnmower to at least give you some eye candy! Hahaha.

Uh how annoying! But Mauritius sounds amazing! I went once as a kid but I don't really remember it. My bestie just went and it looked incredible!!
We had planned to go to South America and travel around countries for our honeymoon but due to covid couldn't 😣 and ended up going to Sri Lanka instead. Xx

Not sure about Aberdeen, but for us in Nottingham, they outsource IVF to private clinics. They do iui, ovulation induction and tablets in the nhs hospital, but give ivf to private clinics. Ours we use is one of them so we’re on the private clinic timelines. Might be worth finding out?

Haha he has his man untd shirt on u fortunately. and is already angry as they conceded in 20 seconds 😂🙈 fun day for meeeeee.

honestly it’s unreal. I’ll send you a pic. It’s the most wonderful place. And the Mauritian and Indian people that live and work there are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. If you can go, defo do! Oh nice. We almost went to Sri Lanka last year but ended up Kenya / zanzibar. Was it nice? Xx
