@GCS34 your friend sounds like she's wrapped up in herself. I do get that people want to and should celebrate their pregnancies.. but the person to do the with at that very moment is probably not the one who is going through hell to reach that same goal 😩 I'm sorry that happened.

My SIL doesn't know we're trying (although I imagine the whole family assumes) so I can't really expect her to consider my feelings.. I just didn't really speak to her and we left as soon as we could.

@Annapolis35 again, your friend sounds incredibly insensitive and really what business is it of hers how hard you're trying?! It's so frustrating. People really are arseholes! Lol.

@SnookyPook hi! I'm really sorry about your mmc.. hopefully it's true that you're more fertile after mc and you get good news this month! Xx

SnookyPook · 05/06/2023 12:58

Thanks for the welcome guys!

@Annapolis35 so sorry for your loss too. Hopefully little 🌈 babies for both of us soon.

Ah! Nice to have another few '85 (and '84 I guess!) Vintage mums around! @LeopardLover @Bubblesandtroubles

@GCS34 it amazed me how thoughtless some people can be 😔 hope you're ok. One of my best friends has literally just had a baby on Saturday, and one of my SiLs is due in July.... Thankfully both understanding but it does hit hard sometimes, especially as I really thought I'd be joining them in October and now I'm not.

Ugh that’s really inconsiderate @GCS34 Whenever I get pregnant this has definitely taught me to be more considerate and sensitive of others around. I had a friend who I told too what was going on and she bluntly just texted saying she was pregnant… I explained our situation (again) and she said she didn’t know how hard we were trying. I definitely told her last autumn we were having a tough time of it 🙄 Anyway, people are arseholes.

@LeopardLover Well hopefully it doesn’t show! Sometimes I’m just relieved when it finally does show as there’s no thinking “maybe…” and you can move on to the next cycle and have a few days mental respite.

Yeah I was a bit confused why she said it. Also what didn't help was her message prior that said "I’ve no doubt you’ll have children one day". What the heck is that supposed to mean? 'no doubt' - come on, a bit more positivity please! Anyway, rant over, I don't like to be bitter, although it's veeeeeeeeeeeerry hard sometimes 😂
I can't believe your friend just randomly did that. And didn't know how hard you were trying? Do you want a blow-by-blow account of every time we have sex so you can assess if that is 'adequate' enough? Knob. 😆And yes, they are.

@LeopardLover living my pregnant dream through you - how late are you now? 😬

Welcome @SnookyPook
Sorry to hear about your MMC 😔
Another 37year old over here 🙋🏼‍♀️ My little one is 17 months.
@LeopardLover I'm still 🤞🤞🤞 for you.
Xx

LeopardLover · 05/06/2023 12:10

@SnookyPook P.S so sorry you had a MMC 💔 My toddler is also 2 and I'm 37 😊x

LeopardLover · 05/06/2023 12:08

@GCS34 Geez, your friend needs to read the room!! 🙄 Sorry she was being so inconsiderate. X

LeopardLover · 05/06/2023 12:06

@Annapolis35 @SnookyPook Haha, thank you for the positive vibes but unfortunately this isn't just cramping, it's the dull ache! With my son I had loads of cramping but no aching 😊 It was only due yesterday, however, I felt it was coming on Saturday night, but my toddler's tantrum shut it all down 😩 if it doesn't arrive by tomorrow I'll take a test for you guys (because I have loads haha) but I'm expecting it any hour now! Xx

GCS34 · 05/06/2023 12:03

dabs9 · 04/06/2023 19:06

@DuchessofSuffolk Ah I really hope it doesn't arrive and this is it!! 🤞 you have such self control not having a stash of tests at home or running out to get one 😂

Just seen my SIL for the first time since she announced her pregnancy and she has a v definite bump.... Felt like I was going to have an anxiety attack.
Am I ridiculously dramatic?? 😩 I feel so silly. X

@dabs9 absolutely not!! I had the same breakdown last weekend when i saw my friend who announced she was pregnant. She also text me this weekend to tell me that she had her scan date through with a really excited face, and I was a bit like, come on girl, show some compassion, you know? I felt sick, I've not replied to her yet with everything going on with us on Friday, I just couldn't articulate something positive back to her!

What did your SIL say with the bump? Was she considerate? Hopefully you were able to get away and move away from it a little xx

Annapolis35 · 05/06/2023 12:00

Sorry for MMC @SnookyPook I am in the same club but a year before. It sucks.

@LeopardLover I also had AF cramps and then it never turned up so you never know. When was it due?

SnookyPook · 05/06/2023 11:21

Hi all, hope you don't mind me joining? You seem like a friendly crew 😊

Seems you're all back to the start of your cycles - I'm a little behind/ahead and currently 6dpo so right in the midst of symptom spotting madness. I unfortunately had a MMC in April and after the initial grief and getting through it, was surprised how quickly I wanted to try again. I'm 37 and have a DS who turned 2 in Jan. Hoping for a little rainbow soon.

@LeopardLover both my prenancies started with 3 days of my 'typical' pre-period cramps... Just saying! 😉🤞🏻

Blimey @Amy95 that sounds terrifying! Definitely did the right thing taking the clot. I had problems after birth of my first and was told to do that. I hope the GP gives you some decent answers. Enjoy your cosy time in bed in the meantime!

@LeopardLover are you sure it's coming and you're not mistaken? Do you intend to test again soon? 🤞🤞

Sorry @DuchessofSuffolk . June is going to be everyone's month. I can feel it 💕🤞🍀

I can feel it! Me being annoyed has probably slowed it down. Should be within a few hours! X

@Amy95 Really pleased you're being waited on and have an appointment with the GP. I hope they give you some answers! 💜

@DuchessofSuffolk Ah, sorry about AF! At least you will be in good company in June! I felt mine coming in the night but it stopped. I'm really annoyed it's late because there's a chance ovulation will be bang on Glastonbury 😅🙄

dabs9 · 05/06/2023 07:58

@DuchessofSuffolk 😣 I'm sorry.
Seems we're all in it together as the June crew! Hope you're ok xx

@Amy95 thank goodness you're feeling better, with your little nurse looking after you! 😂
Don't let the GP fob you off!! Xx

@Amy95 OMG, Amy! You poor thing. This sounds absolutely terrifying! Thank goodness Luke was on it and they rushed you through. Will you have a follow up? I would've took the clot too. Sorry you had such an unsympathetic nurse. Hope you get a good sleep tonight and nurse Luke looks after you tomorrow xx

I'm alot better this morning thankgod , I felt away with the fairies 😂 I'm going to my GP today hopefully they will help , I've had a cuppa in bed with some breakfast I could happily get used to this 🙌xx

Amy I'm so sorry!!! How are you feeling and how is your blood pressure now?
That's so awful for you I'm really sorry you had to go through it.
It's more concerning it's happened before and they seem non-plused by it. You did the right thing taking it with you - I'd have done the same. That nurse who looked down upon you has clearly never been in a situation where you fear the worst.
Are you on the ward tonight or heading home? I hope you're managing to feel a bit better and always here when you want / need to talk. Sending love. Xxx

Yes I'm feeling alot better I've eaten and slept most of the day. Yeah they checked it before I left it's still on the low side but alot better than it was , the woman said how I still was standing is unbelievable I said I felt very dizzy and fainty , I got let out a few hours ago so home in my bed , my mam washed all the bedding for me bless her , Luke said to that horrible lady end of shift is it love , the tension in the room after that 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ Luke's staying home from work tomorrow with me so I have my very own nurse , thankyou 🥰 means alot hope your doing ok xx

Omg that’s awful @Amy95 they really ought to be finding out the cause of it as it’s happened before, how terrifying. Hope you feel better soon. I know a friend of mine has adenyomisis which causes unbelievably heavy periods. Will they refer you to a gynecologist?
