Hi ladies,

Recently got my BFP (will be 5 weeks tomorrow) 🥰and wondered if anyone has also recently got their BFP and would like to join this thread?

I'm 33, been actively TTC for around 6 months, This is my second pregnancy as I had a MMC at 8 weeks at the end of 2021. But if successful will be my first baby 🙏🏼✨ took a break in between as I was getting married.

Really hoping for a positive healthy pregnancy this time✨🤞🏻

@twobcomthree

Thank you!!

I've also had people question why I'm not drinking, I've just said I've got to drive/taking medication/have something on tomorrow etc

It's getting to the point I can't wait to announce it but we're 6 weeks off yet at least!

It's unusual for me to not drink a fair bit while im out so people have noticed 🤣 I just make something up and people go ooooh okay!

@Ella31sorry for your losses and sending positive vibes to you!

Symtom wise, so far i've only really had sore boobs and occasional light cramps.. oh and ocassional headaches too!

I've off to a wedding next weekend and a number of friends/ close family will be I have no idea how i'm going to hide the not drinking as will be very unusual for me not to be swigging the wine 😂 anyone have any tips for me?!

Hi everyone ☺️

@twobcomthree only symptoms so far have been severe tiredness, sore boobs and have had some sort of pulling/sharp type pains in my lower abdomen on the left side… which I assume to be due to implantation!

Hi ladies, Got mine 3 weeks ago, will be 6 weeks tomorrow. After 2 losses , really hoping this sticks.

clearlyy · 21/05/2023 21:39

Hi!

Congratulations!

I got my BFP 2 weeks ago - at 5 weeks! I'm 7 weeks as of Wednesday apparently and so super excited. This is my first pregnancy and I'm nervous and shattered and not sure what to do with anything yet!

Hope everything goes well for you Smile

Infertilitylife · 21/05/2023 21:34

@twobcomthree It will be my first. I’ve never been pregnant before so it’s all new to me. I’m having the scan at six weeks as my ivf clinic like to see that the pregnancy is in the right place and to check how many babies there are 😂🥰

Do you have any symptoms etc?

Ziska93 · 21/05/2023 21:13

Congrats on your BFP. I got mine on the 10th. I’m 30. FTM (first time mum). I’m estimating that I’m about 7 weeks 3 days. I’m eager to see the midwife to have some confirmation that this is actually real, but the first appointment isn’t until June 8th. Argggggh! I thought waiting for the BFP would be the hardest part but this is harder already.

twobcomthree · 21/05/2023 20:59

@Infertilitylife wow how amazing, big congrats! Will this also be your first?

Amazing you have a scan so early, hoping all goes well for you🤞🏻✨ that's not long at all to wait either!

I also have an early scan but not until 7 weeks or so x

Hello 👋

Currently 5 weeks and 1 day after my first ivf cycle. Lines are getting stronger and booked in for my first scan a week today so hoping to see a heartbeat then 😊

I tested positive from 5 days past transfer so equivalent to 10dpo. I have tested every day since.

@twobcomthree I’m sorry to hear about your loss but fingers crossed this all continues well for you 🥰

@Tempeliz I found out when I was 3 weeks 3 days. It’s so scary isn’t it this early on x

twobcomthree · 21/05/2023 20:04

@Tempeliz I tested a couple of times (with a couple of days in between) just to make sure the line was getting darker as my first was quite faint. Mine were, so after that I haven't tested since.. I would say it's easy to obsess over testing but theres really no need once you've had a strong line 🙂

Have you had any early symptoms at all yet?

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss with your last pregnancy, I can’t imagine how tough that must be and it will of course make you feel more nervous this time… but lots of positive vibes for this pregnancy 🥰

yes I think I am just under 4 weeks - showing as 1-2 weeks on the clear blue digital. How often did you test after your first bfp??

twobcomthree · 21/05/2023 19:44

@Tempeliz hey, thanks for sharing and congrats to you too! You must be less than 4 weeks then, right? I found out about the same time as you and although it's only been just over a week the time has dragged SO slow!! I'm really nervous because of what happened to me last time as it was quite traumatic finding out at an early scan.. but positive vibes for this time ✨

Yep totally with you on the scared/nervous thing..Searching some of the old Mumsnet threads have really helped me both this time and last time so I thought why not start a new thread and keep things real!💪🏼💕

Hi!

congrats on your pregnancy! I just had my first bfp today at I think around 11dpo so very very early on. But I had nice clear positive tests including on a clear blue digital. I’m 31 and this is cycle 2 of trying for baby number 1. So I’m completely new and a bit scared to be honest!! I’d love to join you on your journey x
