I've been seeing the same line from 5dpo that only my eyes pick up not on camera and I'm sick of seeing it it's playing head games with me😂 so I turned it round on my window (literally) and I can finally see the shadow I've been seeing. I was a victim of evaps on first response last month they had colour and everything so I'm not getting my hopes up just wanted peoples opinions on evaps on these test as I've read before I bought they barely give evaps

@Ttcmumma I get what you mean and that's okay... I don't understand why I haven't gotten darker lines yet but some women don't get an obvious line further on the cycle so that's what I hoping
Period due tomorrow time will tell now x

Ok so you shouldn't have started to bleed yet anyway. Most woman would have tested positive by now but you aren't out until your period shows. Sorry I've been such a downer just want to be real with you as I know how much it hurts to get your hopes up only for your period to arrive anyway x

G3mini2 · 22/05/2023 17:30

14 days after ovulation I come on... I'm 24 day cycle so this will be 23 today x

Luteal phase can last up to 17 days, you're currently 13dpo so doesn't necessarily mean you should have started yet. What cycle day are you and would you normally start this soon after ovulation? I'm usually 14-17 days after ovulation before period comes xx

Ttcmumma · 22/05/2023 17:10

I've had evaps that came up immediately after peeing on them, within 2-3 days you would have seen line progression if it was a viable pregnancy tho. My last pregnancy the line was a squinter one day and I wasn't sure if I was seeing things, by the next morning it was an obvious positive xx

G3mini2 · 22/05/2023 15:11

@Ttcmumma I had my first negative yesterday afternoon but I was peeing constantly, I took another strip test last night same pesky line, doesn't evaps show after time frame? This line was there when wet x

If the tests are no darker by now I'd suspect either chemical or evap lines, maybe try that one more test to put your mind at ease and if not a clear positive then don't hold out hope xx

G3mini2 · 22/05/2023 13:57

The test was taken when I was around 8-10dpo I'm now 13dpo x

@Mismatc it's the same test, I might go get another I've been seeing lines since 6 7 dpo but none have gotten any darker 😒 x

Mismatc · 22/05/2023 13:43

That final one looks like a very early positive. It could be just that (with late ovulation or implantation) or it could be that you are having a chemical. In a couple of days it will hopefully get darker.

G3mini2 · 22/05/2023 13:24

I'll add it's got colour too

This mornings test. Surely it would be getting darker I think this must be an indent it's gotta be 😤 I have a first response in so I'm going to bring that bad boy out in the evening as that seems to be the best time for me to test. 4 days before period due so it should be fairly accurate x

@Ttcmumma I'm awful for it😂 it's because my eyes are picking up on something it's making me want to test. It's annoying 😂 x

I love the, I'll wait a couple of days and then tested again the same day. You're as bad as me 🤣. There is definitely something there so can see why you're confused lol x

G3mini2 · 18/05/2023 19:51

This evenings tests what even is that😂😒 tests are never straight forward with me... I'm throwing in the towel

I've never seen a test line do that to me before soon as the dye touched it 😂 I'm done testing now like seriously

@Wednesdaysotherchild that's given me a tiny bit of hope! I'm just not sure if it has colour as it's so so faint I don't know if it's an indent either. I tested at 5dpo and my eyes kept seeing something. So I tested yesterday morning and I could see it a little darker then the one I took at 5dpo so I took an evening test yesterday evening and it was darker than the morning urine. But still a little unsure not going to get hopes up just yet as it's crushing to see lines and af comes x

G3mini2 · 18/05/2023 09:52

@Ttcmumma I know exactly how that feels I had a bfp last month on cheapies at 7dpo clear as day so I took a first response and the indents that it gave me was soo sonvicing it had colour and in time frame. Obviously af arrived I was gutted I was in a low mood for weeks I wasn't even going to try this month but here we are. So I know not to get my hopes up and I really shouldn't have tested I promised myself I'm not going to test till around as due or a missed period but because I had heaps of tests in I thought eh why not. Would not recommend 😂 thank you sweetheart xx

I’ve also found Easy@home and FRERs to be the most sensitive tests.

Wednesdaysotherchild · 18/05/2023 09:49

I’ve used them a lot and had faint lines 7dpo - my consultant told me it’s possible to get lines on 7dpo. If there’s colour, it’s not an evap but picking up a faint amount of hcg. If it disappears afterwards then likely a chemical, even if period arrives on time, and chemicals are incredibly common!

Ttcmumma · 18/05/2023 09:44

I honestly think it's luck of batch with the cheapies, I was using cheapies for about a year with no kind of line and this month's batch I was convinced for days I was getting positive until they never really turned into anything and then af came. Was stark white on frers and clear blues at the same time too so wasn't chemical. Hopefully this is the start of something for you but it's crushing when you get your hopes up for nothing so try not to get excited until a line pops up on that frer. Got everything crossed for you xx

G3mini2 · 18/05/2023 09:28

@Ttcmumma aw I know. I read the reviews before I bought and they're suppose to be really good and reliable but I just don't know😂 I have a first response in I'll probably test with that in a couple days if I am preggers let the hcg rise a little more because I cba with squinting to see. I don't think I'll be buying these tests again I don't know if it's just my batch because I can see the outline of control line and test line before even using so I'm not getting hopes up just yet x

OP posts:
Ttcmumma · 18/05/2023 09:23

Hard to say if it's a positive it's still so faint, I've had alot of squinters that didn't end up positive but doesn't mean you're out yet. Try a different brand in a couple of days just incase these ones are dodgy x
