TTC February 2024 babies

Starting a thread because I don't see another one yet - I guess it is early for the potential Feb babies!
I'm on CD6 of 2nd cycle post miscarriage/6th month in total, ttc #2, due date would be around 2 February if we're successful this month.
Last month I was way too obsessive about testing, this month I'm really going to try to not let it take over my life - but let's see where I'm at in a few weeks' time. It's a busy month for me with a big work trip just after my fertile window then a family holiday when af is due so at least the tww shouldn't be so much of a drag.
Anyone else early in this cycle who will be trying for a Feb baby?

It's just so typical, been trying since January and I never have any crazy social plans. Typically as soon as I get a line I'm supposed to be having a boozy weekend away with the girls. Now there all going to know I'm pregnant if I'm being sober. I don't want to have to explain that I had a chemical later 🙈

Thanks for your replies. I wish you all good luck this cycle 🍀

BudgetBuster · 11/05/2023 21:05

Looks like steady progression, the bottom one is a good but darker. If AF isn't due for another 2 days, test again then! But so far looks good @Kiwiburgh

Hankthehonk · 11/05/2023 20:55

@Kiwiburgh Wow that's great you got a digital bfp! That must mean hcg levels are rising, it could be ok. I think we normalise seeing dark early lines on mumsnet but I'm sure the lines you've got are pretty normal for 13dpo. Please keep us posted!! What would your due date be?

@Hankthehonk I've veen burned by those damn frer indents once before. Nah I know it's pregnancy because I got a positive first response digital. It's just sooo faint.
Af due Saturday

Hankthehonk · 11/05/2023 20:43

@Catchafallingstar7 We're in a very similar boat, I'm away for work on Saturday until Thursday so if I don't ovulate by Monday we'll miss this month completely.
Thankfully my ewcm has appeared this evening, lh is still low but I'm hopeful I might just catch it before I have to leave. Will dtd tonight, tomorrow and Saturday morning before I go to the airport, thats the best we can do!
Remember you're fertile 5 days before and 1 day after ovulation so if your oh is only away for a couple of days you've still got a good chance. Such a frustrating time though, I was hoping my cycles would be regular again but it's only my second cycle post miscarriage so could still be out of whack.

@jessie92 Thanks for sharing, that's reassuring that the clinic weren't concerned! What stage in your cycle are you at now?

@Kiwiburgh I can definitely see those lines and it seems darker in bottom one, did they show up within the time frame? I had so many evaps last month 😫 on frer unfortunately. But keep testing, really hope it gets darker! When is af due?

Hi @Hankthehonk I’ve also found no ewcm or cramps for me this cycle! It’s so strange. I’ve been treating this week like my fertile week and really trying with ttc ! All for me to not ovulate. most annoying thing is my dh is away all weekend so if I ovulate over the weekend I’ve missed a huge chunk of the window. It was predicted for the 10th but nearly at the end of 11th and no signs yet! I wonder if my focus on it is delaying it hahaha unlikely.

give and update when it shows up. I might just try and continue DTD every other day. To cover it this month. Slightly frustrating but I’m only on cycle 3 so must try to stay
Calm.

Mangotango39 · 10/05/2023 23:12

@ELJ1502 do you have pcos by any chance? I have heard lh can sometimes surge at different points with pcos but I cannot be 100%

@Mangotango39 I’ve never been diagnosed with anything but it’s been suggested by a few people on here. I didn’t know it could come on later in life.

Kiwiburgh · 11/05/2023 17:50

I joined this group at 10 dpo thinking I was out however I then got a faint line.
What's your guys opinion on this progression? Top is 11dpo and bottom 13dpo. I'm trying to stay positive but I just have this awful gut feeling it's too faint. most people seem to have such obvious line changes after 24hours never mind 48!

Hi @Hankthehonk I had similar happen to me in September- went to see the GP about it and was given antibiotics just in case. Ovulation happened (bbt went up) around a week after expected, which lengthened cycle as the luteal length stayed the same. Has also happened to me this cycle but I think that was related to the hycosy I had on cd10- had around 4 days spotting and then ovulation around a week late. The clinic didn't seem concerned so I suppose just hang in there!

Hankthehonk · 11/05/2023 10:34

@ELJ1502 @L0uise35 welcome!
@Mangotango39 I am pretty certain I haven't ovulated, I've been tracking LH and BBT daily and haven't really had EWCM yet. The spotting seems to have stopped and it was very light so maybe it was just from dtd? Never had that before though. Trying not to worry and to hope ovulation is still on its way within the next few days.

Hi all.. also TTC newbie. Little bit in limbo at the minute, had a maybe implantation bleed Monday and Tuesday so waiting to eat Thurs/Fri. If a bfn will be trying again this cycle. Fingers crossed for everyone

@Hankthehonk thanks for the welcome!

oh I am not sure re mid cycle spotting . Is there any chance you could have peaked earlier already and it's after ovulation?

ELJ1502 · 10/05/2023 20:29

Hi everyone, hope it’s okay to join.

We’re on cycle#7 TTC #2. I’m currently on CD13. Normally this wouldn’t even be my fertile window, as I’ve always had LH rises late on and ovulation predicted CD19/20. However, I’ve had a temp rise early on and Natural Cycles recommended an LH test on CD 11. The line was so dark, I don’t think it could have been more positive with today being my predicted ovulation day. I’m not sure if this is something strange going on as my period was only 1 day this cycle. Trying to stay positive and hope that it’s just my month. 🤞🤞

Due date could be 31st Jan or some are saying 2nd Feb. 🤞🤞

Hankthehonk · 10/05/2023 20:04

I'm a bit confused - I'm due to ovulate within the next couple of days (hopefully) but don't have the usual signs - no ewcm, lh increase or bbt change yet. My lh peak is usually rapid so not worried about that but I'd expect ewcm by now. What I do have is light spotting. Has anyone ever experienced this mid cycle? I'm googling and pre ovulation spotting is a thing but quite rare and might be a cause for concern... But then googling anything can convince you it's concerning.

Welcome to the thread @Mangotango39 and @cobalt123 here's hoping it's a lucky one for us

Also throwing myself in the ring here. 36 and cycle # 3. CD2. Currently app says my fertile window is when I'm away for the weekend but I guess things can change 🤞

Mangotango39 · 10/05/2023 08:24

Throwing myself in with you lovely ladies 🙋
Cycle #1 currently CD7 ... long wait ahead. Ovulation predicted on app CD17 but it was 19 last month , we shall see!

sending best wishes to all 🙏

cth96 · 10/05/2023 07:35

Thanks @Hankthehonk. I’ve had 38 day cycles for the past few months but it can be irregular sometimes due to PCOS. Definitely haven’t ovulated this month, though, and it’s CD23 today so I think it’s not going to happen this month sadly.

Hankthehonk · 10/05/2023 02:20

@cth96 sorry, no wonder you're feeling deflated. Are you usually pretty regular? You might still ovulate late?

@Farmgirl12 well done staying relaxed about it all! I'm definitely feeling less obsessive than last month too, thankfully. Not had the pre-ovulation symptoms yet that I was expecting this week but not feeling stressed about it just yet. I should be ovulating Friday or Saturday going by previous cycles.

OP posts:
BudgetBuster · 09/05/2023 08:30

No idea what to expect. I think it'll just be some blood tests on me @Hankthehonk

Farmgirl12 · 09/05/2023 08:04

Morning ladies

hope everyone is well.
I’m not being as neurotic this month as I was last. I think I’ll have ovulated either yesterday or today. So have dtd up and around these dates. So we will see what happens.

im gonna try and not symptom check or count days. Will hopefully just go with the flow.

im gonna try and keep as busy as possible these next two weeks and hope for the best.

where is everyone else in their cycles? X

cth96 · 09/05/2023 07:14

Morning everyone. Looks like I’m not ovulating this month. LH levels started to rise to 0.5 two days ago. They’ve been declining again since, with a steep drop in LH and temperature today. Feeling pretty deflated.

Kiwiburgh · 09/05/2023 00:46

Hey, I'm jumping over from the January 2024 group. Trying to concieve baby 2 and this will be cycle # 7. DS was concieved 1st attempt last year!
I'm 10 dpo with a BFN on a frer. I know there's still a chance but I feel like im out especially with it being a frer.
If I concieve next cycle I'll have a estimated due date of 17th Feb

I'm trying premom ovulation strips this time as the clear blue digital is getting too expensive every month.

I hope this is everyone's lucky cycle 😆

Hankthehonk · 08/05/2023 23:14

@Catchafallingstar7 it can definitely be unromantic, luckily I find my sex drive goes way up during fertile week. Fitting it in is sometimes the trouble!

@BudgetBuster welcome and I'm sorry for your losses. Sounds like you are in a good, relaxed headspace though. Do you know what to expect at your appointment?
