Hi ladies,

Month 10 of TTC #2. I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle.

I have a one year old daughter who took almost a year and a half to conceive. I previously had a chemical pregnancy not long before she was conceived.

Really hoping this cycle will bring good news ❤️

Please feel free to join if your ovulation is around 26th/27th April and/or AF due around 7th/8th/9th May.

Wishing luck to us all xx

@ar91 just over 2 weeks ago, so still rather sore but we got creative so that we didn't miss this cycle lol. Although I missed O day and O+1, we did the 4 days prior so hoping that's enough.

Does anybody else read the same threads over and over as well, whilst googling symptoms of bfn at 12dpo 😂 could recite some of them by now!

Secondtimettc · 02/05/2023 06:53

I am terrible on Google! I don't test early just obsessively symptom spot!

Secondtimettc · 02/05/2023 06:51

Joining! I think I'm 2dpo (clearblue digital helpfully broke last week!) based on the flo app and my cycles are very regular.
If I was right I did manage to dtd the two days before ovulation, conked out at 8.30pm on the actual day of and last night we did just in case I ovulation late. However I could have missed it so not holding out much hope this cycle!

I'm ttc no 2 so in a lucky place but I feel like the second baby announcements are coming thick and fast now!

TTCing · 02/05/2023 06:28

@ar91 i know how hard it is when family and friends become pregnant whilst you’re trying. Sending love xx

i think I’m in the ‘every cycle is hard’ stage of TTC too.

@suz2285 hahah it's so hard trying to figure out which one is causing symptoms 😂
I think I'm going to stop monitoring cm as it's making me a bit obsessive.

@missmoosh oh my goodness that sounds awful! I hope you're recovered and feeling better now (Sorry, I can't remember when you said you had it). Gosh the things we go through ey.
And the googling!! I think in future I need to get my husband to confiscate my phone for the whole of the TWW.. As the months go on the googling gets worse!

@Mummyme87 ah fellow midwife! I work in a really small team so I do speak to my teammates about it too which is nice.
I'm so hopeful that we'll get some BFPs in this group this month! 💕

Mummyme87 · 01/05/2023 22:15

@ar91 yes also work in maternity m, I’m a midwife and it’s tough, although I openly discuss ttc with people there which helps

missmoosh · 01/05/2023 21:08

@ar91 oh thats good it wasn't too bad for you! Hear some horror stories on here lol. My lap & dye they didn't stitch me up properly so I had to have a 2nd surgery the following day as I bled out quite a lot! All very traumatic! Some adhesions which they dealt with though 🙂

I couldn't imagine working around children or babies whilst ttc, must be so hard!

I know what you mean about this cycle feeling hard, although tbh since about cycle 6 they have all gotten me down. I know realistically anything happening now won't be pregnancy related this early, but give me 2 days and I will be googling everything again....

suz2285 · 01/05/2023 18:37

@ar91 oh god I just walk past maternity every day and that's bad enough for me! Can't imagine working there... hard!

Re the CM it's meant to dry up after ovu so I wouldn't worry about that, I know what you mean tho, I've had a headache two or three times since ovulation and it's either low progesterone, high progesterone, normal pms or pregnancy 😂😂😂

ar91 · 01/05/2023 18:00

(Previously username TTCbabyR)

@suz2285 thanks so much for the recommendation, I'll get myself an easy@home one 😊

@missmoosh my hycosy was actually ok. I found the speculum the worst part hahah. Just felt a bit crampy when they put the fluid through but nothing unbearable. How was your lap & dye?

I don't know why but I'm finding this month extra difficult. I've been SO emotional yesterday and today and feel really down. Trying not to symptom spot but it's impossible 😂
I don't know if anyone monitors cm? I have NOTHING! Which I don't think is a good sign, although at 5dpo it's probably irrelevant. Feel like I'm driving myself crazy.

I also have 2 SIL who are recently pregnant and I work in maternity so am around pregnant women and babies all day every day! It's draining when going through this.

TTCing · 01/05/2023 10:41

Morning ladies.

eurgh to the comments @Stillwinston -not helpful and a naive thing to say! I’ve had similar before too!

Those just fell pregnant without trying or we started trying and it happened straight away types are the worst! I always think they should be more mindful of sharing potentially upsetting comments like that. It’s very hard for people who have been trying for a lot longer.

I’m also very very stressy and an anxious person. I’d be interested to know if it does play a significant detrimental role in TTC.

sending love ladies xx

I'm doing alright 5dpo today, has gone quite quickly but been busy! I only have a 12 day luteal phase and I know any symptoms currently won't be anything pregnancy related. So trying to remain calm!

I also am a massive stresshead and autistic so I become quite obsessive with things, so 10 months of this is now a living hell for everyone who knows we are trying....

My SIL is currently pregnant and as happy as I am for her as it did take her a long time, it's still hard wishing you were pregnant too...starting to think I'm never gonna see those 2 pink lines!

suz2285 · 01/05/2023 09:43

Wow all of those were meant to say dpo not do or dpi!

suz2285 · 01/05/2023 09:42

@StressyErica good to know, I’m super stressy and anxious but no one really knows it , other than my poor husband, and a few people at work who happened to catch me on an overwhelmed day! I need a better way to get the stress away if anyone knows of any! 😂 I already walk, yoga, listen to podcasts, wild swim, run ( though I need to do this one more ) and I also need to eat better but there’s not enough hours in the day tbh

yeah I wouldn’t test until at least do 10 , realistically dpi 12-14 more likely to produce any sort of positive, and my last luteal phases have been 8-9 days so I’m just hoping to get to at least dpo 10 this time

StressyErica · 01/05/2023 09:29

I've been pregnant twice before and I'm the stressiest person I know (hence the username), so I'm hoping stress isn't that much of a factor. 🤞

I'm 4dpo too and feel nothing. I'm probably imagining things but I've needed a wee at night twice now which is very unusual, and my left boob hurts. I don't think those are actual symptoms but just something I noticed. It's been a few years since I last did this whole TTC thing so I don't even know when I could test. Maybe in a week?

suz2285 · 01/05/2023 09:24

@Stillwinston oh yeah love that one too, I keep reading at the mo about stress being an issue, though no actual guidance of how much stress is too much stress etc, I’m super stressed about work and a generally anxious person, but am I meant to just lie in bed reading meditation books all day while ttc? Because if I was a cave person running away from a mammoth surely I’d be stressed and the human race would’ve died out long ago right ?

Stillwinston · 01/05/2023 09:08

@suz2285 lol, I feel you! Also, 'just relax and it'll happen' drives me insane 😂😤

Freya8 · 01/05/2023 08:51

3dpo ... lightenin crotch type pains .. please tell me thats wind n not ovulation as that then would put me back a few days lolll plus i was sick of sex there i even declared i was never havin sex again 🤣🤣

suz2285 · 01/05/2023 08:29

@Stillwinston eugh! So irritating about your SIL... my sis keeps telling me 'just have a lot of sex' sure I didn't try that maybe that's my problem!

Also about 5-6 people on my insta or fb have announced their pregnancy this last couple of weeks! Though one girl did put a little thing saying she knows it's hard for people when others announce what seems 'easy' for them so maybe she's been on this side as well!!

Stillwinston · 01/05/2023 08:23

I'm 10dpo and have absolutely zero symptoms - think I'm out yet again 😕 SIL - who just announced her pregnancy after 1st attempt!! - breezily told me yesterday that natural cycles worked for her and I should try it....like I haven't tried every single app/process going after 24 months, I really had to stop myself from telling her to do one 😂

suz2285 · 01/05/2023 08:18

4 dpo here and the usual feeling warm, headaches, slight nausea, get this every month... it's not a fun time! Also I'm so irritable and hard on myself during the luteal phase and I'm having a ridiculously stressful time at work and then I keep reading about reducing stress as you won't get pregnant when stressed 😂 helpful!

TTCing · 01/05/2023 07:17

I’m either 5 or 4dpo. It’s gone quite quick so far but know it will drag now! How about you? @missmoosh

OP posts:
Mummyme87 · 01/05/2023 06:31

@missmoosh I’m 4dpo, and trying not to think about it. Had a vivid dream though last night that I was pregnant 🙄

missmoosh · 30/04/2023 20:11

How is everyone feeling in the tww?

TTCing · 28/04/2023 18:39

@WhiteHorse92 welcome! Sorry to hear about your two losses 😔

@StressyErica using opks sounds very much like actively trying to me 🤣 I counted myself as ‘not actively trying’ before I reverted to opks! Haha. Best of luck ❤️

suz2285 · 28/04/2023 14:22

@TTCbabyR I have the easy @ home brand digital from Amazon, I use the easy @ home opks as well... as they scan into the pre mom app, it's just the basic model but any one that has temp to 2 decimal points is fine, the change in temp is so little. Really only looking for a 0.2 degree increase! So it needs to say 36.45 rather than 36.4 etc!

You also get smart ones that are Bluetooth that sync temp right into the apps but I'm in the app anyway so just got a manual one, seems decent does the job!
