Hi ladies,

Month 10 of TTC #2. I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle.

I have a one year old daughter who took almost a year and a half to conceive. I previously had a chemical pregnancy not long before she was conceived.

Really hoping this cycle will bring good news ❤️

Please feel free to join if your ovulation is around 26th/27th April and/or AF due around 7th/8th/9th May.

Wishing luck to us all xx

@ar91 it was from Medichecks it's the 21day progesterone one, similar to the one the docs would run and quick results it gets good reviews so thought I'd give it a shot!

Apparently the knee thing is more common in people with endometriosis, or any inflammatory conditions, I don't think I have endo but I am prone to autoimmune type things, I have other auto immune type things so I guess it could be that! Apparently prostaglandins can cause it too

@Stillwinston I just said the same to my husband, the time I did actually get pregnant I had slight cramps at normal period time and other than that not much else! Now every month since then I feel like I have more symptoms! Blooming progesterone!!

Stillwinston · 02/05/2023 19:25

I'm 11dpo and caved - bfn unsurprisingly 👎🏻 looks like I'm moving onto cycle 25 pretty soon.

For everyone talking about symptoms - the 2 times I haven't had symptoms have been the times I've been pregnant! I think progesterone does a lot to mimic pregnancy which sucks, I pretty much convince myself I'm pregnant every month even when the tests are clearly negative 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

missmoosh · 02/05/2023 19:09

@ar91 oh I so hope it is your month! That sounds promising if it isn't something you normally get!

@suz2285 fingers crossed its not another short luteal phase for you and the progesterone test arrives in time!

ar91 · 02/05/2023 18:44

I've felt nauseous all day and my nipples are on fire! I do get slightly tender nipples in TWW sometimes anyway but this feels extreme.
At least we're all in this together and not going crazy alone haha.

@suz2285 where did you order your progesterone kit from? I never even knew that was a thing. Can't say I've noticed achy knees myself.

Freya8 · 02/05/2023 18:43

4dpo n the bloat is unreal! Sore to move bloat meh

suz2285 · 02/05/2023 18:27

I'm so crampy today, and my back is sore

Only 5dpo but it feels like I'm about to get AF! So weird

Does anyone else get sore knees before their AF arrives? Google isn't that clear but it seems like It could be related to progesterone or estrogen, I don't get it every month but some times it's way worse than others, today my knees are absolutely aching! I really hope AF isn't on her way super early again

I ordered a progesterone kit to check my levels, it's posted and I'm hoping it arrives tomorrow so I can test this cycle on CD21 which is Thursday for me!

TTCing · 02/05/2023 18:23

I’m not symptom spotting. I’ve had no symptoms. But I feel like today I’ve thought about the tww about 50 times 😂 I’m not even sure I’ll manage until 10dpo to test! And I usually manage to!

missmoosh · 02/05/2023 18:10

Glad to see we are all going stir crazy in the symptom spotting phase! Not just me! Going back through my Flo app and I have all symptoms every month, so nothing different for me

Mummyme87 · 02/05/2023 18:10

I remember on a day in the TWW last cycle I felt really ‘nervy’ in my lower abdomen, like, like nerve discomfort, I feel like that is a good sign. I think I was 11dpo though so unhelpful 😂

StressyErica · 02/05/2023 17:35

Oh god the symptom spotting! It's relentless isn't it? I'm 5dpo and have had nausea, cramps, weeing and weird boobs. I get these pretty much every month anyway so can't read too much into it. I too have been trawling the internet reading about implantation like a mad person, and I think if anything were to implant it would be happening fairly soon...

Lilothblos · 02/05/2023 15:05

I feel like I had every symptom going last month of TTC so weirdly that’s helped me not to symptom spot this month! Not feeling particularly optimistic for this month for some reason but we will see. I’m on 6dpo too and want to hold out until Monday but AF may get here first!

ar91 · 02/05/2023 10:49

My BBT took quite a dip this morning which I've read can be a symptom but I've also had little dips at this stage in previous cycles and not been pregnant! So hard to know what to pay attention to.
I wish it was easy to just ovulate and not think about it again until AF due! 😅

Mummyme87 · 02/05/2023 10:48

@suz2285 I wish I had tracked last month as I had a chemical pregnancy. I don’t recall any symptoms off the top of my head except sore boobs from 5dpo which is normal for me anyway

suz2285 · 02/05/2023 10:37

@Mummyme87 i keep thinking i need to actually track my symptoms each month so i can remember if i had x y or z last month! But goodness knows. Last month I was literally feeling so sick like I was wondering If i might have to stop the car on DPO 8 but I wasn't pregnant, so strange!

Mummyme87 · 02/05/2023 10:25

I’m 5dpo, also rattling with vitamins!! I had pain and discomfort in left groin area yesterday and today. I mean too early for anything but I symptom spot never the less

suz2285 · 02/05/2023 10:18

@ar91 i literally have to split my meds into 2 lots as taking them all at once makes me feel sick, i'm taking an all natural prenatal and it's 3 tablets per day! then all the additional tablets! I also don't usually eat until lunchtime at earliest so then sometimes I forget to take them at all!

that's another one on my fb announced today, literally is it like spring baby time or something??? here's hoping for some of us!

I'm DPO 5 today and i've had cramping the last 2 days, apparently that can just be caused by a rise in progesterone, who knows.... hopefully not a sign AF is on her way early again!

ar91 · 02/05/2023 10:15

@TTCing 😂 I feel ya! 6dpo too and I've got it into my head that I'm testing on Friday.

Currently getting all my normal pre period symptoms though 🙄

missmoosh · 02/05/2023 09:59

@TTCing Hahaha I keep looking at Flo app, like has the day changed yet or am I still 6dpo! It's never too bad until it gets to this point and then the symptom spotting kicks in full swing, the googling starts and I have to hide the pesky tests!

TTCing · 02/05/2023 09:15

6dpo today! Starting to think ‘ooooo when could I test?’ 😂 I would love to hold off until 10/11dpo. But the temptation gets too much from 8/9dpo!

Thanks @ar91 ! I will look into your recommendations!

@missmoosh , I relate to this! It’s just good luck or bad luck. I usually find bad luck for myself!

@Secondtimettc lovely ❤️ We do have time on our side. I have a large gap between my brothers and I (they’re ten and eight years older than me). They were always very close and I kind of felt like an only child. My husband has close age gaps with his siblings too. I’d always wanted a small-ish age gap. Plus, I’m still up in the night with my daughter. So I thought I’d like to get all the tiredness out of the way in quick succession, rather than having some sleep/respite for a few years and then heading back to the baby stage! I only breastfeed first thing in the morning and before bed now. And probably once in the night too. My periods returned 7 months postpartum and I know I am ovulating. From what I’ve read, I don’t think it will be impacting my likelihood to conceive as my cycles are pretty predictable (in terms of ovulation date, cycle length etc) and have been since they returned really.

Secondtimettc · 02/05/2023 08:53

@TTCing So sorry about your chemical. He is 21 months and we're on cycle 4. Like you took a while the first time.
You have time on your side though unless you really want a small gap? I actually wouldn't mind a larger one as long as it happens! Could breastfeeding impact your fertility at all?

missmoosh · 02/05/2023 08:47

@ar91😂😂 i was very surprised myself that I managed!

@TTCing yeah I mean I have hit all the best days for 10 cycles so who even knows anymore! It's all just luck I guess! Your timing sounds good too though, hopefully this is our cycle!

I just take the pregnacare before conception ones
I have so many meds I have to take for my health anyway, I rattle just from those!

ar91 · 02/05/2023 08:34

@TTCing it is so hard when others are announcing what you desperately want.
And I really feel for those of you trying for #2+ because I feel like once you've had a baby people are expecting you to have another easily and quickly and that's just not always the case. I think people can be quite naive to the struggles.

I take the minami morDHA omega 3 (unsure if you've heard of it but basically a cheaper version of the zitawest ones).
I know a fair few BF vitamins include omega 3 but totally understand not wanting to add in too much/unnecessary things when BF.

TTCing · 02/05/2023 08:20

Hi @Secondtimettc, welcome! How old is your little on?

I am TTC #2 now. My daughter was 1 in December. I’m finding that a lot of people that had babies around the same time as me are now announcing they’re pregnant with baby number 2 now too. It stings more because we’ve been TTC #2 since July. So rapidly getting on for a year now. I naively thought we’d be lucky second time around and would conceive quicker than baby number 1. But it’s looking like it’ll be a year plus again. I had a chemical pregnancy before my daughter and also had a chemical last cycle too. Wishing you luck! I think you’re in with a chance!

@missmoosh i think you also have a good chance this cycle!

I only managed 1 day and 3 days before ovulation this cycle.

I only take Vitamin D and Folic Acid. I wanted to take Omega 3 but I don’t know how much to take. I worry about taking Vitamins as I’m still breastfeeding.

@missmoosh I'm impressed you managed even once!
Yeah I've re read so many threads and looked at so many BBT charts 😂

@Secondtimettc hi! I think it sounds like you have a good chance, I'm sure the day before O is considered better than O day. 🤞

Is anybody else rattling with vitamins and supplements? Just walked past my pill box and thought is this even normal?! Haha
