Hey,

just thought I’d start a thread for those in their TWW.
I’m 1DPO - looking for people to chat to and just keep each other company as title states.

last month I was super patient during my TWW and fully waited until 12DPO and tested once.
I just have a feeling this month I’m going to be super impatient and need people to tell me off and not test early lol.

if you’re joining, what DPO are you and any symptoms?

@DHB We were just lying to ourselves 😂 but least I’ve got a range now to work with tomorrow; I’m going to home bargains after work so maybe I’ll pick some more then aswell 😂

omg that was literally me running around checking natural light, the flash on my phone, taking a picture and zooming in. We’re just driving ourselves crazy.

ill update here once I stare at the tests long enough to decide if I see anything or not 😂 and I will upload the results for advice lol.

Oh good! If there is no update past 11:30, I will be tagging you with spam tags for updates hahaha. I will also do my fmu tomorrow and be straight on here to update. I just have the two I’ve ordered, no doubt all five strips will be used to make sure haha.

Oh well it’s funny you say about the shadow, as I swore I saw the faintest of shadow lines on mine today too, but the more I looked at it, the more I think I was just making it up. Should have seen me, probably looked at it in every different lighting aspect of my whole house, squinting, not squinting, holding up to the sunlight, held it up to the fish tank light, different filter on my phone, horrific 😂🫣

hahahaa! 😂 boots didn't have their early response ones in although the stock checker online said they had them. But I got other ones and the strips.
I legit did use one of each just now to make sure they where working 😂 one seemed stark negative but the strip looked like it had a shadow but I'm not sure if it was an evap line but couldn't pick it up on camera. So now I'm more confused & just wanting FMU tomorrow! I've got a lie in tomorrow morning because I'm off work but you can guarantee I'll be on tomorrow around 11:30 with my results to update you 😂😂😂

so tomorrows tests line up will be;
FRER
Clearblue digital 6 days early
a boots cheape stick
boots cheapie strip
early test cheapie strip

if there’s no BFP on any of those tomorrow I give up. 😂

@Nmmck93 Oh yay, I’m so proud of you for running to get your tests too, we are so shit 😂 I’m glad it’s not just me!

I mean, you could just take one to check they’re working? 🫣😂 Haha, I’m off to collect mine after school pick up, but I’m definitely 99% sure I’m going to wait for fmu tomorrow and then I’ll be back on here fuming when it’s still an offensive negative 🙃

@DHB proper LOL’ing we are usless at advising each other 😂 I get lunch now at 12:30 and I’m walking to boots to get those exact ones because they finally got a delivery that they haven’t had for weeks 😂 but I then need the willpower to not open them and test before going back to work, but I won’t be asking you to advise me not to because I know your reply would be ‘oh just test’ 😂

yeah declutter if no response in the threads after 3 months lol. Google also doesn’t help.

‘it could be implantation or could be your period’ yeah state the obvious I wanna know which it is 😂

Oh that infuriates me!!! Searching for answers and no one bloody replies! 😂 Mumsnet needs a serious declutter of these posts where they are absolutely not helpful to those of us with no willpower and like to clutch at straws!

@DHB no I proper laughed out loud at the thought of you rocking in the corner waiting for AF.
YOU CAN DO IT. DONT TEST! (Coming from the girl who literally has minimal will power) 😂 but I have faith in you.

I don't the exact same yesterday searching the forum for implantation bleeding at 12dpo and if they got BFPs then after but no-one was updating their forum after hahah!

Why are we literally sitting wrecking our brains haha! 😂

@Nmmck93 That is such a strange dream haha! Let’s hope you are pregnant but can still go on your jollies!! 😂 I might do a Boots dash just in case but then again, I can’t test if I don’t have any so perhaps I should just sit and rock in a quiet corner until AF is late…

I keep searching the forums for people that have tested negative at 12dpo and them positive later on, I’m awful.

@DHB i know I’m baffled! I’m going on my lunch break to grab some boots tests for the morning; I’m going to do 3 different tests possibly 4 if AF doesn’t show tomorrow.
I had a dream last night I found out I was pregnant and the doctor told me I couldn’t go on holidays next weekend 😂

aw that’s what I did this morning, I ran to the toilet so I could do my FMU without testing and then told myself ‘you can’t test now because your urine won’t be concentrated’
keep updated over the next few days, I hope AF doesn’t show up for you 💜

@Nmmck93 Oh that’s bizarre isn’t it!! Fingers crossed for the morning, keep us posted :)

Part of me wishes I had used FMU instead as I’ve already had two cups of tea before testing the second wee! But realistically I’m just holding onto anything I can! I think I’ll only test now if AF doesn’t show in the next few days 😢

@DHB I'm still missy spotting, AF due today but nothing. No cramps or blood on my pad. Haven't tested in two days but the blood is only when I wipe. But will test in the morning.
Don't put yourself out just yet, AF mighten show! Fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏻

How is everyone getting on?

I think I’m out :( I believe (only going by symptoms, not OPKs) that I’m 12dpo…and my boots early test is as negative as anything 😩 AF should be due tomorrow I think!

I had a total BFN this morning after a faint line yesterday. I’m 10Dpo today so feeling a bit sad. I think I was the victim of a horrendous evap line 🫠

I swore I seen a line and when I held it up the light there wasn't a sniff of a line, think it was just the glare when I was holding it down flat lol. Even put my flash behind it and shone it through but nope, nothing 🙈
