Ovulation 17th or 18th April, TWW

I’m ovulating today or tomorrow and wondered if anyone wanted to do the TWW with me?

TTC number 3
Cycle number 1
33 years old
My first with my partner who has low sperm morphology and I’m 10 years older than the last time I was pregnant!

I’m excited and nervous, this may be a long TTC journey for us but I’m trying to stay positive.

11dpo and BFN here. I’m almost certain I’m out this month, but will keep testing. I’ve mentally moved on to May (cycle #3) already.

I tested this morning 9DPO, definite negative. I think I’m feeling my normal premenstrual self but just paying more attention to my body, I’m not feeling pregnant. I’ll keep testing each day until AF comes.

@Catchafallingstar7 Haha, I hope he is able to give up his jacuzzi time. I’m hoping my DP can have his next sperm analysis soon and we can get a bit more information.

@Mismatc ive heard that before! I know some women that find it easier to accept if they see the bfn sooner (before they see af) So I can understand.

i wish I could adapt my mindset to not expecting bfp! Unfortunately I convince myself all the time. Urgh :(

this month I Just started asking DH to try zinc and new vits. Also kindly asked him to STOP using the jacuzzi in the gym and then I think pre-seed will be the next think I try. Xx

@Catchafallingstar7 I’m okay! I’m 8dpo and feel slight symptoms in my boobs but I think these are probably normal AF symptoms that I have more awareness of. I haven’t tested yet and think it will be bfn this month.

That said, I probably will still test because I don’t get disappointed by bfn — for me, that is the expected result and a bfp would be exciting. Not testing could leave that bit of hope that it might be bfp, testing and getting bfn makes me feel in control. I seem to be a little different in that respect!

You have inspired me, I might try pressed as well.

Hi all how are we doing?

AF due 1/5 and not getting the feeling I’m pregnant this month. whilst I have loads of symptoms, if you Google them it says they are also symptoms of AF coming so just feeling like I want to fast forward to next month and try again! I started testing at 8dpo and all bfn so far.

im thinking I might try pre-seed next month?Anyone tried it?

@NayNay03 AF is due 02/05. I’m 7dpo and don’t feel pregnant, I’m fairly sure I remember really knowing I was pregnant with my first two DC. I’m going to check with my DP tonight whether he has filled in his referral form for his sperm analysis.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter 9dpo isn’t too bad to start POAS! I really hope it was just too early for you.

@Tdcp I can only imagine how that feels. It would have been so much kinder to be honest from the outset although maybe he thought he was doing the right thing or being nice to go along with it. It’s such a shame because to be excited and start the TTC journey and have that taken away must be heartbreaking.

@Mismatc I'm not really sure how I feel, one minute I'm okay and the next I'm sad again. I think it was just that he went ahead and 'decided' and then said he didn't actually want this. Don't mess with me like that you know! I'm 10 dpo now and still negative so that's something I guess.

I caved and tested this morning (9dpo). Negative. Will try to hold off until 11dpo to test again!

@Clettercletterthatsbetter I’m 6dpo and no desire yet, I think I will test as I approach AF but I won’t be disappointed with a negative.

@Tdcp I’m so sorry to hear that, how are you feeling? I can’t imagine how devastating that is after thinking you together wanted the shared future of another baby.

I'm 9dpo now and still negative (I know it's early..) dp has told me yesterday that he's only done this for me and he doesn't really want another child. I feel devastated, my head is such a mess. I was so excited at the thought and now it's all ruined.

@Mismatc last month I started way too early (7/8 dpo) which just led to loads of disappointment as I was convinced I was pregnant. This time I’m trying to wait it out until 10/11 dpo but I really don’t feel this is our month (and I’m ok with that) so I think it’ll be easier to wait. 7dpo today and no desire to POAS yet!

Hello! I’m 5dpo and don’t feel pregnant at all. I don’t think it’s my month and I feel okay about that which is progress for me. Hopefully, I can be patient and accept whatever this journey has in store. My partner has been referred for semen analysis again, we will see how long that takes and what the results are. Maybe get a puppy if it starts taking a very long time to conceive, haha.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter how many dpo do you usually start testing?

How’s everyone doing? I think I’m 6dpo today so still a while off being able to test.

Last month I was spotting every single ‘symptom’ and was convinced I was pregnant when I wasn’t, so this month I’m ignoring anything my body might be doing!

@Tdcp same here! Weird cramps on one side only and my uterus just feels quite obvious. Boobs are okay but my boobs did nothing apart from get massive in my previous pregnancies anyway. Desperate to test but I know it’s way too early x x x

@Mismatc hi there ! I wish I could offer some good advice but currently I’m thinking of hiding the tests I have in the house and I’m only 6dpo 😂😱 ridiculous isn’t it. I tell myself I’ll wait til my missed af but I don’t know why I can’t stop symptom spotting ahh well. Better to be hopeful and excited at this stage I guess xxx

Sorry, @Catchafallingstar7 I missed your message. I’m still feeling quite chilled, I imagine it will get more tough if I start noticing symptoms and thinking a lot into them. What strategies do you have to stop yourself getting too impatient or overexcited? I think I am just a slave to my emotions with no control

@Tdcp Haha, we all do it! Hopefully you get a BFP in just a few days.

My first two DC I “knew” really early that I was pregnant and I was right. However, I’ve had times in the intervening years where I felt convinced I was pregnant and I definitely wasn’t so I no longer trust myself 😂

I'm 7DPO and I have had horrendous cramps and bloating, my breasts are so sore as well which was the first symptom with DD. Negative test though at the moment (couldn't help myself)

@Tdcp oh my goodness, what a horrendous experience. I wonder, were you given steroids? HG is just awful and can be so invalidated. I hope you don’t have it again at all but if you do, that you have more compassionate care.

@Holly03 TWW is so slow but I’ve quite enjoyed my day at work today and not thought about it all that much, long May it continue!

@Catchafallingstar7 nice that there are quite a few of us on our third and fourth 🙂

@NayNay03 fingers crossed you don’t get it again.

As for me 1dpo/ day of ovulation and I’m actually okay! Not too impatient yet and had a productive day at work. Hopefully I can keep my mind on the real world and not obsessing over TTC.
