I’m ovulating today or tomorrow and wondered if anyone wanted to do the TWW with me?

TTC number 3
Cycle number 1
33 years old
My first with my partner who has low sperm morphology and I’m 10 years older than the last time I was pregnant!

I’m excited and nervous, this may be a long TTC journey for us but I’m trying to stay positive.

Well done for keeping that positivity @Clettercletterthatsbetter :) good luck this month.

this month I’m trying to focus more on my diet much more. I’m not hugely overweight but I’m heavier than I was when I was ttc before.

I also think I need to DTD much more after the fertile window. We tended to stop after ovulation but I could have missed valuable opportunities.

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 27/05/2023 08:26

At least AF coming early has given me a better chance next month. If it had arrived on time I would have been away on OV day and afterwards. At least now I’m at home
for the whole of my fertile window!

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 27/05/2023 08:23

Are you planning on doing anything differently this month? I’m wondering if my luteal phase is too short, so I’ve ordered some natural progesterone cream which is supposed to help.

Catchafallingstar7 · 26/05/2023 21:11

Hi Cletter

AF arrived 8 hours after she normally does.

onwards and upwards. If i conceive the next cycle, my app predicts 29/02 EDD! Trying to be positive.

How are you?
x

Mismatc · 26/05/2023 15:53

Old blood here and there yesterday and today, at is on her way. All tests have been stark white bfn

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 26/05/2023 12:09

@Catchafallingstar7 @Mismatc any news?

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 23/05/2023 18:24

I’ve still got everything crossed for you both!
I’m feeling pretty down about it today - I just wish I knew why it’s taking longer this time.

I know I’m so lucky to already have children, but I’d just like to know whether it’s going to happen again for us or not.

Mismatc · 23/05/2023 16:18

I’m due on Thursday as well. I still have really sore boobs but I’ve noticed them so much less today now that I’ve accepted I’m not pregnant. Clearly, noticing my “symptoms” is psychological because I am no longer poking them every 5 minutes…

Catchafallingstar7 · 23/05/2023 07:56

Hi both @Clettercletterthatsbetter @Mismatc I feel surprised how much different it’s been for us this time compared to last time. I didn’t have to focus too hard when I was younger. I really am compassionate for anyone that ttc for years.

im sorry to hear af came early for you ! That’s what happened to me last month.

im two days out from af starting but had cramping for the last 48 hours. Today my armpits hurt lots. Like underarm pain. I know it’s just wishful thinking but I still spent 20 minutes Googling if this is a sign. It’s all consuming!

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 23/05/2023 06:50

Well, I’m definitely out for another month. BFN and AF has arrived two days early. On to month 4!

Mismatc · 23/05/2023 06:37

Very much bfn for me as well. I feel worried that we will need fertility treatment and I want to get on with it as I’m 34 now and we’d like two more.

It must be so hard to TTC for years and face fertility treatment, I really feel for them.

I’m not sure what else I can do health-wise, my BMI is fine, I’m trying to stick to gentle but regular exercise, don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t drink caffeine. I’m basically acting pregnant already. Not sure what else I can throw at giving ourselves the best chance.

Evening all, I’m feeling a bit shitty about TTC tonight. 11dpo, bfn and I’m pretty sure AF will arrive early (I’ve got that lovely ‘old blood’ pre-period stuff going on).

I know it’s only 3 unsuccessful months but this is the longest I’ve ever had to TTC. I’m worried my eggs are too old and knackered now!

@Catchafallingstar7 I think I should probably focus on my health more. My BMI is within the healthy range but I’m a fair bit heavier than I was when I conceived the other times. I’m also mega stressed at work at the moment, which probably isn’t helping.

I really feel for women who TTC for years - it’s taking a toll on my mental health already!

Mismatc · 22/05/2023 20:56

Thank you for being considerate. For me personally it is not a trigger. It sounds as though you’re happy with what you’ve chosen to focus on.

My boobs are still really quite sore so I have a touch of hope left which I’m not enjoying, haha. I prefer just knowing that I’m not pregnant and moving mentally on to the next cycle.

AF is due on Thursday and I have shorter 25 day cycles so today I’m 10 dpo (but 9dpo if ovulation was two days after my peak). Maybe tomorrow if will be good news but most likely not.

It seems really unfair if none of us get a bfp again…

Catchafallingstar7 · 22/05/2023 17:56

I’m so sorry if me discussing weight is a trigger for anyone. I should have put a warning.

only mentioned purely as my very own PERSONAL next steps on this maddening journey.

Catchafallingstar7 · 22/05/2023 17:55

@Mismatc sorry to hear. I was so hopeful this month too.

last night I decided I needed to start a new kick start healthy eating regime - a bit as a focus and distraction from ttc but also I think when I’m being truly honest, I was much smaller and fitter when I fell pregnant years ago. It could help! I’m technically just tipping into the overweight bracket and the nhs website says to try to loose between 5-7% to help with egg quality and fertility. I’ve roped my poor dh in to do the same! My aim is to lose 1 and a half stone. I think it’ll help with confidence and distraction anyway so it’s got that positive going for it ! Xx

Mismatc · 22/05/2023 07:07

Another very negative test today, getting ready for af and planning for next month

OP posts:
Catchafallingstar7 · 21/05/2023 18:54

Same here @Mismatc havent tested again but I have normal AF symptoms - emotional and some breakouts. I feel back down to reality which blows but I’m surprisingly level headed (ish)

Didn’t help I spent time with two pregnant friends today sigh I’ve got four days til AF shows. She’s normally bang on time. I’m already planning the next cycle. I might try and use OPKs.

Mismatc · 21/05/2023 05:18

9DPO and stark white negative tests. I did feel pregnant though so had a little bit of hope. We shall see but it’s nice to feel more realistic again.

OP posts:
Clettercletterthatsbetter · 20/05/2023 16:39

@Catchafallingstar7 and @Mismatc I’ve got everything crossed for you!

9dpo here and, despite saying I wouldn’t rest until at least 10dpo, I’ve tested yesterday and today - both whiter than white. I don’t feel remotely pregnant so I’m pretty sure I’m out this month…

Mismatc · 20/05/2023 14:02

Dare I say it, I’m feeling a little bit pregnant. Tomorrow morning will be 9DPO-ish for me so I will test. Feeling hopeful will no doubt lead to heartbreak though 😅

@Catchafallingstar7 I’m terrible, already planning ahead to needing fertility treatment and how much that could cost. I hope the timing all works out for you

OP posts:
Catchafallingstar7 · 20/05/2023 09:30

I hope you had a great birthday @Mismatc its lovely weather here so I hope you got some sunshine

i really felt what you said - the little window of hope between 6dpo and AF.

I’ve already tested and it’s stark white. Luckily for me there are no More tests available in my house! So I’ve got no choice now but to wait 6 days.

I know in the long term it’s not been that long ttc but I’m already thinking summer next year is not ideal time as we have two abroad weddings booked 🥲🥲 which is why I’ve been so hopeful for a winter baby

baby dust to all on here

Mismatc · 19/05/2023 10:30

I’m 7DPO and feeling a little more obsessed today (and yesterday) — I think 6DPO until af are the most difficult part of the cycle for me. The period where there is a little bit of hope.

I’ve got lots of with work and it’s my birthday today. Hoping I can get stuck into that and forget about it!

OP posts:
Catchafallingstar7 · 16/05/2023 21:54

Hi @Mismatc im planning on testing the day I expect my period. So on the 25th May. But I know In reality I will test from about 9dpo - it’s like torturing myself.

i still have noticeable aches. I also had to have a nap today! And want to eat everything in sight. I do feel it’s just hormones dropping but of course I am googling [insert everything] early pregnancy symptoms!! Urghhh.

baby dust to you all on here x

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 16/05/2023 21:45

My boobs are really sore, but they are every month after ovulation. I’ve felt some twinges on one side today, but I also felt that a few months ago and it meant nothing. I’ve learned not to read into anything!

Mismatc · 16/05/2023 14:30

I tend to start testing around 9DPO so probably on Sunday. When will you both start testing?

I have slight sore boobs but I think I always do if I poke them, haha.
