OP posts:
NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 13:56

I was doing more than sniggering to myself in the bath yesterday!

Teuch · 15/02/2008 13:52

Hullo all and welcome Star...don't worry about keeping up, I can't!!

DS and I went on a 'venture yesterday afternoon to where DH is fencing so we will probably head up there again today...it definitely tired the wee soul out and he slept well last night

Boo-hiss though, I have the cottage to 'do' ths weekend...we rent to local builders and do a changeover or linen/clean every three weeks. It's a great set-up and very profitable but I can always see it far enough when the 3rd weekend rolls around...

Lovely day here but it is damn cold!!

btw at NJ (As usual!!)

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 13:47

LOL Bless her, see she will be hooked on MN by the time she is 10, I would be careful what you say from now on!!

Diege · 15/02/2008 13:45

dd2 has just come over to ask me what I snorting about . Good job she can't read .

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 13:41

No I saved my landing strip, just, 'tis a bit shorter than normal though, gone from landing jets to light aircraft ! No, I have gotten used to the itches now, do remember the first few times I did it though, oh my god, I remember having to nip to the ladies whilst in town just to have a good old scratch LOL

Stop asking me about my landing strip now please Feeling a little uncomfortable with the fact that in 20 years time from now my DIL could be reading this! LOL

Diege · 15/02/2008 13:37

. I have vivid piccy in my mind now NJ (we have a bath like that, though nothing like that goes on on our bath seat . So I gather you went for the full 'hollywood' then? Have you started scratching yet?

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 13:34

How did I manage to say that with out one single ?

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 13:32

Actually talking of landing strips, was so funny yesterday, I was in the bath, and we have a corner tub with one of those seat things built in the side, so I was sat on there tidying up, IYKWIM?!! DS2 was alseep in his cot and I had the baby monitor on the loudest it would go so I'd hear him even when I was having my shower (always have a shower after a bath) Anyway, I was perched on this seat thing, and out of no where this bird started really squarking, over the monitor, very loudly, made me jump out of my skin, I very nearly slipped off my perch and chopped the whole lot off in one go LMAO

Playingthewaitinggame · 15/02/2008 13:29

OK, Nat, that works. My sister is really Tilly to us (na-tilly) and it really suits her, she is very tilly-ish (whatever that means). So I know have Tilly, Nathalie and Nat, perfect.

popcornprincess · 15/02/2008 13:22

Hey NJ you missed me off that list. 31. DD 1, missed mc 3 weeks ago ttc when AF arrives - if it ever does!!!!

Diege · 15/02/2008 13:22

Lol Natalie at never leaving, ever . My MN antenatal group is still going strong 3 years later, so who knows? .
Hi Star, and welcome . I work 4 days a week, and I post more there than when I'm at home with the dds . I can actually sort of justify it though, as I'm doing a research project at the moment on midwives' [perceptions of antenatal screening tests (I've got funding, going through ethics at the mo')]. The lengths I'll go to surf mumsnet eh!
Had a lovely morning out in the park wit5h dds, and how we have the joys of dvds - Heidi on at the moment (that they can't follow, natch, so it requires a running commentary, then we have Alice in Wonderland (hate) and then dd3's choice, Winnie the Pooh (hate).
Right, getting calls for pineapple!

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 13:22

LOL Well call me Nat, I always feel like I'm in trouble when someone calls me Natalie LOL I know DH has his knickers in a twist when he comes out with Natalie. I think the only person who calls me Natalie in RL is my Gran, but she doesn't say it properly, she says either Natlee, or Natterlee, having said that she still spell's it Nattallie, I have only been around for 24 years, there is time for her to learn yet!

Better than what she does with my nephew, his name is Zachery, but she always calls him, and spells Zebadee, pisses my sister right off, makes me giggle though!

BeMyLilBaby · 15/02/2008 13:19

ha ha there will be more of that star, wait to the conversation returns to landing strips...

Starshinetiger · 15/02/2008 13:18

I can see I'm going to have to be careful being on here at work, as you lot are getting me giggling constantly - actually just viewed myself from others perspective, sitting here on computer with noone near (it is Friday after all!), giggling away - might get carted off in a white jacket soon!

Playingthewaitinggame · 15/02/2008 13:16

I'll hold you to that Natalie . You know its so funny now at home, when I talk to DH and say Natalie said.., he has to ask which one, sister Natalie, work Nathalie or MN Natalie!! I obviously not only chat too much on MN, I must talk to him too much about it as well

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 13:13

Buggery crap, just said 'yeah but' again, don't know what's going on with me, I never say it in RL, and it is one of my pet hates!

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 13:11

Yeah but we get closer and closer more new people will join in, and don't forget we aren't all going to get pregnant in April/May, sedly, so I am sure there will still be a few of us hanging around TTC'ing. Besides, no one is allowed to leave even if pregnant, or had the baby, ever, so we'll all still be here

Playingthewaitinggame · 15/02/2008 13:09

Looks like I wont have that many friends left waiting with me till sept

NatalieJane · 15/02/2008 13:09

Jeez that list was last updated on Saturday and it was half way up the old thread, and we have had nearly 100 posts on here!

We really do talk too much!

Playingthewaitinggame · 15/02/2008 13:07

Exactly star, at lunch time (12-2 ) I dip in and out more.

Most people here are planning April/May by the sound of it. Its pretty much just me sticking out till September, although Cosmos is Dec, but she is being good at the moment and is not posting that much.
