I may not be doing to good on the whole conceiving front. I was just exhausted last night. I'm going to make up for it tonight though.

I really wanted to watch that program about the girl I might see if its repeated sometime.

popcornprincess · 20/02/2008 10:00

Bloody hell NJ - you and DH are always at it.

popcornprincess · 20/02/2008 09:59

Love Hotel Babylon. its total cheese and completely unrealistic but I'm addicted.

The girl with 8 limbs nearly had me in tears. She was 2 and had basically been worshipped because she resembled a god that is worshipped in her culture. The family reaslied that she couldn't carry on the way she was so had to take a massive step to turn their backs on they current life never to return in order to give their little girl a chance of a decent life. The 8 limbs were her normal 2 arms and 2 legs followed by a parasite conjoined twin which only had 2 arms and 2 legs. it was shocking but amasing to watch.

NatalieJane · 20/02/2008 09:58

Y'know when I've had sex, you get three smilies in the morning LOL

NatalieJane · 20/02/2008 09:56

Good morning

Everyone had a good night then?

We watched that film that last night, 'Knocked Up', was pretty bobbings TBH, but then we didn't actually watch a lot of it....

We did start watching that Hotel Babylon thing when it first started, we couldn't get on with it. It was just so unbelievable, I don't mind a bit of that, I loved Mistresses for e.g. I think it doesn't help that HB has that woman out of Eastenders in it, and DH doesn't like her.

Re. Crumpets, the trick is to burn them, till they are literally black around the edge's, then put loads and loads of butter on, it soften's it all up, but doesn't go spongey Mmmmm, we are having pancakes for lunch, I love them almost as much as burnt crumpets! And I haven't had any brekkie to make up for last night fat fest and this lunch times sugar fest

kayzisbroody · 20/02/2008 09:43

Hotel Babylon!!??!!

OMG I cant believe I forgot it was on. Its cos I was watching the football.

Was that program good? I dont know how I would have coped if it was me.

popcornprincess · 20/02/2008 09:37

Morning - I love CSI too but its clashed with Hotel babylon and the girl with 8 limbs. Did anyone else see that programme? I thought that the family were so brave.

kayzisbroody · 20/02/2008 08:16

I just cant believe how quickly time goes. My friend who I used to work with its her dd's 2nd birthday today and it doesnt seem like 2 years ago that she was still at work.

I'm dying my hair tonight, I feel a bit nervous I haven't had brown hair since I was around 15

BeMyLilBaby · 20/02/2008 08:07

Morning!
How are you?
Ds is 11 months old today!! Time goes so quickly, this time last year I was 8 months pg!!

Teuch · 20/02/2008 07:45

g'morning all!

kayzisbroody · 19/02/2008 20:47

Mine were really quite hard and horrible and they are meant to be the finest ones!!

Diege · 19/02/2008 20:27

That's what I thought you meant LL!
Kay, I'm giving my crumpets a second chance. I too was very disappointed with mine last time - they seemed really 'spongy'. Hey, maybe that's a symptom .

kayzisbroody · 19/02/2008 20:05

I got some crumpets and they were horrible.

lardylumps · 19/02/2008 20:03

I am now off home, hope you all have a good evening.

lardylumps · 19/02/2008 19:56

Just read my last post i did mean dont do the cheese not the research fellowship. The research fellowship is good very good but cheese that is bad.

kayzisbroody · 19/02/2008 19:55

That sounds like a good idea Diege.
I'm really looking forward to having maternity leave. It'll be so nice to not have to go to work.

lardylumps · 19/02/2008 19:53

Hay Diege dont do it, the cheese is bad.... naughty cheese.....

Diege · 19/02/2008 19:50

Mmm, cheese! Think I may have some on a couple of crumpets . Just a slither or two..
Applied this afternoon for a research fellowship so I can 'buy out' of teaching and concentrate on writing up my research. [The plan though is to stagger it for September-ish to I can work from home, maybe in late-ish pregnancy (fingers crossed!) and then save maternity leave up for when baby is born. Of course, the best-laid plans and all that...But it would be perfect!

kayzisbroody · 19/02/2008 19:46

I put on around 4 stone and have lost none of it yet. So you are doing really well. If I dont get pg this month then I'm going to go on a really strict no cheese, no crisps and no sweets diet!!

lardylumps · 19/02/2008 19:40

I know and I really wanted to lose weight before getting pregnant again. I put on 5 stone during the last pregnancy (mainly due to me just being a pig), and I have only lost 3 1/2 stone so I am 1 and 1/2 stone over weight already before I start.

Bugger, pass the cheese I need consoling!!!!

kayzisbroody · 19/02/2008 19:30

I love cheese!!!
Its great but so unhealthy. Why is the most tasty food the most unhealthy?

lardylumps · 19/02/2008 19:24

I have had bad bad snack of cheese and crackers. Looked down and i had eaten most of the cheese. Lard lard lard this is where my lumps come from.

kayzisbroody · 19/02/2008 19:20

Hello all, except you've all gone.
I'm being quite unhealthy as I'm having Fish fingers, chips(low fat oven chips tho) and beans(weight watchers ones).
My friend thinks I'm pg already even though I dont OV til Sat as I really wanted black olives and Feta so I bought some to pig out on later and tomorrow.

Hope you've all had good days.

Woohoo day off tomorrow.

NatalieJane · 19/02/2008 17:51

There has been no action on here all afternoon, and only now that I must move away from the computer again does it start hotting up.... typical!

I do have to hoover, and since DS2 isn't gonna walk and do it for me, I suppose I should just get it done!

Will be back if finished before DH get's home, if not, have a good night everyone xxx
