Cosmogirl · 20/02/2008 15:05

Oh I'm glad it is not just me then GJ! I think the majority of my day-dreaming is taken up with thoughts like that, it gets a bit exhausting after a while! Mr Cosmo bought himself a Wii for his birthday so he is a happy bunny.

kayzisbroody · 20/02/2008 15:03

Apparently its because come winter when there are no tourists they wont get fed as much as they do in summer so they'll starve.

Pickering has a conservation area and you can get fined £50 for feeding the ducks. No one really pays any attention but knowing my luck I'd get caught and fined!!

Cosmogirl · 20/02/2008 14:52

Hey ladies,

Playing I will be here to keep you company until Sept and beyond!! I am still broody as hell and baby-mad but I know that it would not be right for us to try until Nov/Dec at the earliest. I can't say for sure because by August I might be getting a bit more desperate - but right now I feel OK with waiting. Will also depend how the new job works out as well I suppose - first day on Monday eekk!

DH's 29th Bday today.....I keep thinking, oo maybe by his thirtieth we might be pregnant.....God I need sectioning!

Hi Guys, I am a CSI fan too (although not keen on NYC for some reason). The great thing now is if you do miss it you can watch it agian tonight on five US (actually if there is nothing better on I might!). Glad Sarah left she was beginning to annoy me with all her moping around and Grissom is a better character as a bachelor, still I can't believe the way she did it!

BeMyLilBaby · 20/02/2008 14:10

GJ i know what you mean about sarah!!

was glad the crazy hannah kid re-appeared too!

do you mean that girl Ronnie? she's very pretty. poor heart broken grissom x

kayzisbroody · 20/02/2008 13:43

No I should've though. It was a male and female. I love ducks but we're not allowed to feed them round here.
I'd love some ducks

kayzisbroody · 20/02/2008 13:34

Hey all,
Just been over to the shop and these 2 ducks were walking in the middle of the road. Luckily most people stopped until they had past.

popcornprincess · 20/02/2008 12:42

Yeah - not even a nice part of turkey with a beach. Although someone from their turkish office told them that there is tons of snow out there at the mo.

Thanks NJ - prob won't be on tonight as I sooooooooooo tired and want to go to bed once DD is bathed and putting up z'ds. Hopefully it means that AF is on its way and we can ttc.

BeMyLilBaby · 20/02/2008 12:40

aw well done playign you lifesaver!

ive just been to newlook and bought my birthday outfit, nice purple dress with top to go underneath... and some shoes!! i lurve shoes!

pop thats gd news bout your day off, bet dd wil love it x

NatalieJane · 20/02/2008 12:34

Awww Pop that is great news that they agreed to a day off Turkey? For a week? DH had to go to Italy last year, for 2 nights.... I was lost! I am not normally around in the evening, but I will try at least once to give you some company

popcornprincess · 20/02/2008 12:29

right you lot - i went off to do some work for like 10 minutes and I've come back on and lost the gist completely. You lot could talk the hind legs off a donkey. I do love catching though. It beats work anyday.

Yum, pancakes. I've got a 'Chow Mein noodle snack in a pot' [gag - heave] to eat at my desk as I'm in the office today. Would rather have pancakes!!

Oo by the way - they have agreed to me not working on mondays. It means i can spend some quality time with DD instead of shouting at her for pulling the laptop cables out. I'm soo happy.

DH flew off to Turkey for a week for business. God, I'm gonna miss him - will just have to spend my evenings chatting to you lovely ladies!

NatalieJane · 20/02/2008 12:23

Just had yummy pancakes DS1 was on the dry toast, that came straight back up again..... He looks so sorry for himself. Poor little mite.

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/02/2008 12:07

Done

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/02/2008 12:01

sure

BeMyLilBaby · 20/02/2008 11:50

playing you here? a ladys asked about buggy boards in the preg section, cld you possibly help her? x

NatalieJane · 20/02/2008 11:43

I have a few pressies for when DS1 brings home an invitation to a party on a Friday and the party is Saturday morning Hate it when they do that

We don't really 'do' saving, we just go month to month, it isn't often we want/have to buy something we can't afford in one month.

Teuch · 20/02/2008 11:35

THank goodness you're back LG&T...were getting worried!! Glad the pox are clearing up but what a faff with AF, eh? So that meant some kind of monster cycle?!

NJ...you just have to budget and save . Everything can be worked around with a bit of planning . DS is start of January and it has been great so far...

I also have a large family so there are many birthdays many months...I tend to buy cards/gifts in a 'quiet' month and put them aside. Or take advantage of offers...I have a box of bits and pieces in the office which are all 'gifts of the future'

Playingthewaitinggame · 20/02/2008 11:31

I know you ladies wont desert me entirely, I will just get more and more impatient as you all start trying, but hey thats my problem not yours. Natalie, I was only winding you up, remeber the only rule of this thread!!

kayzisbroody · 20/02/2008 11:28

Oh dear poor DS1.
I think ds is teething again. He is dribbling everywhere and everything is soaked.
