I tested 3 times with ds, did 2 normal ones and wasn't quite sure if they were lines so I got a clearblue digital one. Thats why I've gone straight for digitals.
But I do have 2 normal ones as we had a scare a few months ago but I never ended up using them.

I bet you do though we can't help it! It is almost programed in us to test test test. Never known anyone overcome it!

I've got the Boots digital ones and I dont think they are early ones so unless I buy one I wont be able to test early.

Yep every cycle we are technically pregnant for two weeks. 'Tis strange to think of it like that though!!

Hello all. Work has been so boring I really dont want to go back after lunch.

I was explaining to my friend this morning how I know when to have sex to ttc so she told me that come Saturday if I do get pg I'll technically be 2 weeks pg. I'd never thought of that.

Also can 1 or more of you slap me as I got really excited as me pg test got delivered today. I cant test till the 7th March FFS!!!

Yes I forgot you were still being good Natalie with all your GOFing! . Most people talk about their sex lives when they are trying to conceive not just as general information . The conversations seem to go something like " I have managed to BD twice this month, do you think its enough?". Whereas this is the one thread where most people are waiting and we seem to be at it like rabbits

My two are 5 years (6 next month) and 14 months. DS1 said he would like another brother, but then in the last few days that has changed to a sister.... he doesn't actually know we are planning another one, he just always comes out with what he'd like next!

I am in two minds, I am very likely to have another boy, and I think I run a huge risk of having another MC if I have a girl, so for that reason I'd like another boy, but if somehow I managed to carry a girl I would be uber pleased Though this will be our last and it if it a boy, I certainly wouldn't be trying again for a girl.

How organised, knitting already! I wouldn't even know where to start, no clue how to knit! And yes some people < looks around suspiciously > have fallen off the band wagon, whilst others are still being good < sits smuggly in corner with halo on > and waiting!

My gran knitted DS1 a lovely cardigan, it was the only thing we used for both the boys, still treasure it, got it all wrapped up in tissue paper ready for the next one Awwww a little tiny baby with a sleepsuit and hand knitted cardi, with the new born smell and all wrinkled up....

NatalieJean, to tell you the truth, i am starting to feel that "doing it" is a bit of waste of time, unless it is ttc! of course, i have not said anything like that to DH!!! he would be mortified!

LOL Heron We have all been at the online window shopping, and ordering baby catalouges, and some of us (mentioning no names....!! ) have even ventured into baby shops!!! It certainly does help pass the time, not sure it is good for the wilpowers of most of us, since most have already moved TTC'ing forward!

Also, i have started knitting for my yet unconceived little one! i am nearly finished making this pair of absolutely gorgeous bootes. I am making it a bit bigger this time because for my DS, the bootes i made him was too small and he could not even wear it when he was born! he was a big baby...

Gina Ford, I have never read any of her books, know nothing apart from what I have read on here about her, so I probably have very coloured views of her routines, however, I think that whilst her routines wouldn't work for everyone, they will work for some. Just the same as every other "Baby Guru" out there, there is no 'one fits all' but that doesn't mean that 'one fits no one' IYKWIM? If it works for you, then great! If it doesn't try something else.

Also, i started reading Gina Ford contented baby book...
what do you all think about her routines? admittedly, DS followed gina ford routines and he slept through the night from 8 weeks old, ie, from 11pm to 7am. with no 2am feed.

i know gina ford is controversial. i promise you that i waited until DS was ready to drop the 2am feed himself. there was no excessive crying, or anything like that.

Well with DS he had a bugaboo and it was set up as a carrycot and he slept in it for 5 months before i moved him to his cot. and he slept in his cot until he was 3yrs. now he is in a bed.

i like the naturesnest because it is movable from room to room, and also i think the slightly rocking motion would make them sleep better. Having said that, i worry that the eventual transition to a cot might prove a bit difficult as a cot would not be rocking! Opinions anyone?

There is another sort of similar thing, I can't remember the name of it now, but I considered it for DS2. I will have a look when I get time, think it was cheaper, but I don't think it went up to 12 months. From memory it was more like a moses basket type thing.... gah, will look now! LOL Gonna bug me till I see it again!
