TWW - Short(ish) LP

Hi ladies! I was just wondering anyone wanted to join me in the TWW? According to my apps I was due to O tomorrow (10th, CD23) but have ended up O'ing on Thursday (06th, CD19 Hmm) so currently 3DPO. Thankfully had been BD but it's not going to be enough we don't think as only caught -3, -2, +1. This is our third month trying so not too long but I would love some company to stop me going mad, I only have a 10-12 day LP which is stressing me out as it doesn't feel long enough but apparently it is!! Grin. Baby dust to you all!

@BB2818 I just want O to happen now, it's been teasing for ages and I'm bored of BD every other day 😂
I was certain it would be overnight yesterday due to pain in the lower right but no rise this morning 🙄I'm torn between BD again tonight (although I am sure DH smells a rat, he didn't seem as 'in' to it last night 😆) and just leaving it. I've had 6 days of 'fertile' CM and BD on 4 of them - surely this is enough! Pain was still there this morning but has gone now, so maybe it's today 😳

@TTC12023 I had been out drinking in the middle of the TWW 😬. According to my maternal body clock… begin further fertility testing, drink and stop ovulation vitamins 🙄🙌🏻🤣

@BB2818 my temp hasn't risen yet, well it did today but I was out yesterday and had a few drinks so have excluded. Feels weird though as getting the right CM for DAAAYYYSSS which NEVER happens, so something good I think is happening with the vits!

Hey girls, sorry we've been having the worst luck recently one thing after the other and then also the opposite of my son turning 5 today. Been so distracted and tired 😅. Currently cd20 so just allowing myself to stay distracted while I can.

@TTC12023 All good. Usual early pregnancy symptoms - other than sickness is significantly less previous pregnancies (atm). However, not complaining. I have never been so happy to feel so rubbish 🙈

@BB2818 my temp is usually pretty stable (she says having a massive jump this morning 😒😵‍💫)
I saw a similar thing happen in my chart back in Jan, my body clearly tried but failed, I guess I only know that because my chart follows a similar pattern every month!
I guess good 'ole BD more often 🤣 I know it only takes one but we're clearly missing the window!!
Planning a holiday for the end of the year but worries about booking and falling pregnant, the country we're looking at going to is safe a zika free but still!

@Ttcmumma how are you doing? How's your partner?

@TTC12023 my temperature is often all over the place so not entirely accurate I suppose. I never got on with ovulation tests. I would often have more than one surge because they detect the hormone that prepares for ovulation. Not actual ovulation. When I had my first lot of bloods the nurse said that my body could have failed to ovulate first time resulting in a second surge 🤪

Why is it not so straightforward 🤦🏼‍♀️

@BB2818 then what's the point of temping 🤣🤣🤣
I genuinely think we just need to do more BD! My temp has dropped significantly today which usually means my body's gearing up in the next 3 days for so to O which would be a miracle if that does happen, the pregnacare tablets might actually be doing some good!

@TTC12023 I think based on my blood results, I ovulated much later than I thought. I thought around CD16. My HCG levels are quite low and nurse said I could only just have been 14dpo when I had them. Meaning I probably ovulated around CD20 🤷🏼‍♀️. Day 22 bloods results said I ovulated in the last 7 days which could have been CD15-22.

You might not be ovulating when you think you are 🤪 it’s so complicated this TTC malarkey!

@Ttcmumma temping but won't be doing OPKs it's faffy enough without it! I'm not going to lie, the thought of it makes me tired but what we're doing now isn't working! We're consistently hitting 3 out of 5 days fertile but still nothing 😒😞

Thanks ladies, I'm ok, his grandad was healthy just two weeks ago so been abit of a shock to find out stage 4 cancer and then gone within 2 weeks. Can't lie it's all taken my mine off concieving this month! Once may have done it who knows. Last month I ovulated around cd13/14 and month before around cd16 so cd14 may have been a decent time. It was actually around 2am of cd14 so I don't know if it fully counts as 14 🤣

@BB2818 so glad it's progressing well for you!

@TTC12023 are you testing and temping etc this month? Respect to you if you manage smep 😅 I may have been able to do that in my teens but not so much these days haha

My bloods multiplied by more than 10. Which is great (in 4 days). Still on the lower end but in range now. Definitely feeling pregnant; sore boobs, back ache, tiredness, sickness. Unintentionally lost half a stone 🤦🏼‍♀️ but more than happy to feel this way if it means everything is progressing 🤞🏼

Not too bad thanks, thought we were going to miss this fertile window entirely. I'm cd 14 today, I was sick all week and as soon as I felt better my partner's grandad passed away... So definitely hasn't been a dtd environment around here! Managed to dtd once last night so better than nothing I guess.

@BB2818 ok thank you! Just waiting for O which remains a mystery to me 😝 I guess I'm CD9 now so I have another 10 days a least to wait! Going to try and do SMEP without telling DH which should be fun, he doesn't want to talk about 'times' which is incredibly stressful in itself 😵‍💫
He said to me yesterday that he wasn't overly worried as we hadn't been hitting the right times.... I was like.... 😒 yes we have 🤣
How did your blood test go?

@Seraphina1993 hope you are ok? Is that a normal LP for you? It could be worth requesting bloods to give you a better idea/confirm when you ovulate.

I was taking conceive plus since October (until early in this cycle). Before my LP was 7-11 days but ended up having more 11 day LPs.

@TTC12023 blood results in HCG slightly raised. Nurse said it can simply be because it was so early. I was only around 14-16dpo when bloods were taken so very likely. But progesterone was apparently quite high at CD29 bloods. Having bloods repeated Wednesday 🙏🏻🤞🏼

@Ttcmumma sounds great! Stopping the pregnacare tablets seems to have worked for @BB2818 !

Seems like a good idea for you to stay away from SMEP if you know what will happen! My DH would love it I have no doubt, it's more likely me to decide I'm too tired 😂
There is definitely something going around, loads of people I know are sick atm!

@BB2818 let us know! Aren't bodies funny, you crave something and then it makes you feel ill 😑

@TTC12023 should get my result today. They weren’t in on Friday when I called. The sickness is definitely when I eat something I fancy/ full of flavour. Plain foods for me I think 🙈
