Clear & Simple - pink line outside of 10 mins. Evap?

Hi!

just wondering if anyone else has had a pink line (which also looks like it sits in the wrong place) outside of the test timeframe with Clear & Simple early response (the cheap tests) ? And has it been a false positive?

I took this test and it didn’t show positive within first 10 mins, but when I went back to it 30 mins later it looked like the first pic.

An hour later it looked like the second pic and 4 hrs later it looks very pink…

I know you’re not meant to check outside the timeframe, but it’s so pink that I’m curious to hear opinions!

I’ve taken a few of these tests in the past and they’ve never looked like this before. Maybe it’s faulty? Not holding out much hope 😊

@SJayne12 Looks promising. Mine was definitely a bfp and nearly 32 weeks now

Hi, I know this is a few months old now. But came across this post after I did the same test today. Not sure if anyone will answer this as it’s been a while but just wondering if anyone thinks this looks promising? Currently 4 days late and had negative tests the past few days. Month 5 TTC so have everything crossed

@staystill I just came across your thread and have had similar today with my tests.

Had a super bad dye run on the first but line showed in 30 mins, did a second one which had a line within the timeframe - both got darker over the day.

Then had a faulty test!

You’ve given me hope for tomorrow though, hoping the FRER is positive!

@staystill Thanks! Mine was a co-op test (see pic).

I didn't even look at it particularly closely by the end of the time as I thought if anything it should be a strong line, so I suppose there is a possibility that a very faint line could have been there and I didn't notice.

I was testing at 14dpo and had cramps 12-13dpo so maybe just a late implantation and not enough hcg at that point.

Clear blue cross one on the other hand was up in about 20-25 seconds at 18dpo!

Congratulations! Can I ask how many days past ovulation you were when you did that test? I had an almost identical line (very pink but thin) when I saw my previously negative pregnancy test a full day after taking it (wasn't checking it on purpose - just saw it when taking out the bins!). That was at 14dpo so I had presumed any positive line would have come up immediately. Not sure whether to try and test again as now 16dpo and no sign of AF.

I tested one evening- negative so I went to the pub! Took the bins out next morning and a line had appeared. She’s now 21! Fingers crossed to all of you testing.

@anovu Really sorry, I didn't see your message.

Big congratulations on your positive!!!

Sounds like this is a thing on Clear & Simple then... I found that when I changed the angle of it almost filled up a second time and that's when the line came in.

For reference for anyone else looking at this thread in the future. That Clear & Simple one was at 9dpo. Today I'm 14dpo and took a normal Clearblue test and it showed a strong positive

Who knows... But you're pregnant, big congratulations!!!!!

staystill · 09/04/2023 08:28

@VixFromThe6ix thank you 🙏. I did a Frer yesterday and it was a clear positive! 😲
I’d taken a few cheap ones in the meantime and they also showed a feint line after the time limit. Strange!

Definitely looks promising! I know we shouldnt check past the certain time but this looks like a line not an indent. Do you have another test?
Hope this is the start of something positive for you 🤞🏻✨
