New thread for those of us now trying for the first babies of 2024, may we all be lucky this month!

I'm CD1 today of cycle 6 ttc my second.
Had a chemical at the end of February and lots of illness in March so revved up to give this month all I've got!

@Floralsandsmiles thank you! I take 100mg at the moment but another 300mg won't hurt right!? 🀣

Have you had anymore spotting/symptoms? Xxx

Ha! Well if you read its supposed to be 500mg, no! Lol I'm worried I'm not taking enough now, these were the highest strength I could find...
Spotting through the day, like a rust colour now.. xxx

Does anyone take coQ10? Heard it's good for egg quality etc. if so, how much do you take? I get 100mg in my subscription but I've been seeing online to take 500mg

I have been taking this @Angelselevenx for the last 2 months.

Mine is this one-

Ubiquinone Coenzyme Q10 300mg Softgel Capsules, 120 Super Strength Vegan Friendly Naturally Fermented High Absorption CoQ10 Capsules Made in The UK to GMP Standards – by The Intelligent Health amzn.eu/d/4HFbOKj

Xxxx

I started taking 100 mg this month
Not sure if it's related but ovulated CD17 instead of CD14 this month

@Seasidegirll oh really! it might be worth travelling further afield if it's a lot cheaper? all of her tests came back normal, and funnily enough that cycle she fell pregnant. She had her CP on cycle 2 and pregnancy on cycle 6! Xxx

Seasidegirll · 09/04/2023 09:52

@Angelselevenx ah yup, I’m currently on the London women’s clinic website right now. The tests for the nearest clinic to us is a lot more than Β£350 unfortunately πŸ₯΄ I guess the prices must vary from clinic to clinic! Did the tests show up with anything for your friend? Glad she’s finally went on to get her BFP! X

Angelselevenx · 09/04/2023 09:28

@Seasidegirll sorry to hear of your BFN.

I haven't been down the private testing route yet but I'm going into cycle 3 after my CP.

My friend had a CP and then went on to fall pregnant a few months later but inbetween that time she had private testing done at London Womens Clinic, it's Β£350 and includes testing for both you and your partner. They have clinics all around the UK. That's who I'll use if we need to get some testing done xx

Seasidegirll · 09/04/2023 09:25

Hey :) I’m jumping over from the December thread after a negative test this morning, period is due either today or tomorrow so I’m pretty confident I’m out! I’m 29, husband is 31 and we are ttc #1, this will be our 9th cycle. If i’m not pregnant by the end of this cycle, we are going to go pay to have some tests done at a private fertility clinic. Has anyone been down this route yet? X

TunnocksTCake · 08/04/2023 18:35

@Charl8888 could you have missed the peak? If your bbt shift is sustained I would imagine you just had a quick surge, mine is often super quick and if I don't test multiple times a day I miss it.

@Babydustthisyear and @Mushroo excellent timing! I also agree it all feels a bit better this time of year with plans in the diary, though I think I am going to ovulate the night I'm away at a hen do so that's going to throw a spanner in!

Hi @Babydustthisyear i also got a positive OPK yesterday evening so we’re in the same boat :). Also TTC number 1.

Im so glad it’s fallen over the bank holiday weekend, much more time and very relaxed.

Same here. Thought the bank holiday was a godsend however she is now not well so only DTD once in the fertile window.

Giles1008 · 08/04/2023 09:49

CD1 πŸ™ŒπŸ» it’s been a long cycle! Got a good feeling about this cycle and feeling positive!

Happy Easter weekend and 🀞🏻 for lots of 2024 babies ✨

Bailem · 08/04/2023 09:18

Hello, I'd like to join please.

I'm CD1, AF finally arrived this morning after threatening for a good few days! This will be my first month using OPKS. x

Mushroo · 08/04/2023 08:27

Babydustthisyear · 08/04/2023 08:25

@Mushroo hello I recognise your name, from some threads, I know so good, definitely more relaxed and more chilled over the bank holiday.

We will be testing likely around same time, although I don't test anymore πŸ˜‚ it's too difficult I'm just waiting as long as possible (I say that now lol) x

I’m going to wait until the 23rd I think as I go on holiday the next day so would be good to know either way!

I always say I’ll hold out and then end up testing early so we’ll see how that goes!

Im also finding being a bit busier this time of year helpful.

Wishing us luck!

Hey ladies, I would like to join, recognise a few names from other threads, I am 32 soon to be 33, this is cycle 4 for baby number 1.

Definitely feeling a lot more chilled this cycle, I think it's because life is busy again we have plans at weekends and it's helping take my time off all the waiting. Got my smiley today, so in the Go Go Go stage πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ hope everyone is keeping well xxx

Convinced the below helped me with falling this month, albeit it was a CP. I came off contraception in December, started trying in February and then started taking these end of feb, fell in March and that was the only thing I changed. Maybe my progesterone levels are still a bit whiffy after contraception

Angelselevenx · 07/04/2023 21:14

@Giles1008 I take the vitl subscription that includes these

TTC 2024 Babies πŸΌπŸ€°πŸ»πŸŒŸπŸ€πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ’•
Ttcdcno1 · 07/04/2023 21:10

@Giles1008 I’m taking the seven seas ones. I haven’t noticed anything negative with those

Un7breakable · 07/04/2023 21:10

I take loads.

Seven Seas Trying for a Baby
Omega 3
Vit c
vit D
Zinc with Copper
CoQ10

I need to stop changing them as they change my cycle.

Giles1008 · 07/04/2023 21:05

I’m still waiting for AF CD33, I started taking pregnacare conception this month and just read on the back it can lengthen cycles.

What vitamins does everyone else take? I might swap to something else. I also couldn’t identify ovulation this month and that’s the only thing I changed πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Farmgirl12 · 07/04/2023 19:50

Hey lovely ladies

miscarried last july/august. We weren’t actively trying for a baby. It took us nearly 4 years to conceive with our 3rd. So just thought that it would never happen for us.

we decided after the miscarriage that we really wanted to add another to our family.

so on cycle 5.

got my flashing smiley today so hopefully this is our month.

good luck ladies
hopefully see some positive pregnancy test this month ❀️

Charl8888 · 07/04/2023 16:41

I was looking to join this as my ovulation is a little later the cycle due to stress and travel at work…which has made it hard to DTD as much as I wanted to but ovulation is supposedly today - had the increase in temp on bbt but no LH surge 😩so I might be out before I’ve even started this cycle! Keeping 🀞🏻 for everyone πŸ₯°

Daniki · 07/04/2023 15:49

@Floralsandsmiles that's true, I bulk buy the 10miu ones you get 15 in a pack for €7! Have like 3 packs of them πŸ˜‚ FRER is always sold out online on the website I use so iv never actually used one!
