@bringmearainbow YES!!!!

I cried over the floor tiles in the bathroom not looking right yesterday, so I’m sure AF is going to arrive as planned tomorrow! Will dip in and out of the January thread but I think I need to think less about this for a while!

bringmearainbow · 10/04/2023 14:13

@Seasidegirll sorry you're out lovely. If you're a snoozer take it as soon as the alarm goes off then go back to snoozing and I put the info when you're awake properly otherwise it won't be accurate

@Floralsandsmiles oh yeah, I didn’t realise the 24 thread wasn’t a jan one! Can you tag me in the new one please x

@Mushroo thanks! That’s exactly the reason why I haven’t done my BBT before, I don’t want to wake up at 6am on the weekends 😂🙈 but I’m willing to give it try at this stage! I try for this cycle and see how I get on

Tested at 7dpo today and nothing. Not sure what I expected as it is so early 😅

Thinking about it, there is a ttc 2024 babies but not a specific january one. Should I make up a specific Jan one? Xxx

I’m officially out for a Dec baby, my period started last night. Before I jump over to jan 24 thread (😱), I just wanted to wish everyone who’s had their BFP a really healthy and happy pregnancy and to those of you still waiting to test, I have everything crossed for you all 🤞🏻❤️

I just have a quick question, I’ve ordered a thermometer to track my BBT and I’m unsure on when I should be testing. I’m pretty awful in the mornings, I usually snooze my alarm for about half an hour before I actually get up, should I be test the second my alarm goes off or is it ok to test when I finally fully wake up? Thanks guys x

I'm sorry @Seasidegirll , I will see you over there. Sending hugs xxx

@Seasidegirll sorry to hear that. Based on my ovulation date I would be due New Year’s Day so straddling the two threads - I’ll see you on the Jan one!

I started BBT this month and tbh I’m struggling with it as I’m the same as you.

Ive found it seems to be more accurate the second you wake up, so in your case go for the first option.

I keep it under my pillow so if I half wake up at say, 6am, I test then, the the thermometer records it, I go back to sleep and input when I actually properly wake up.

You’re supposed to also try and keep to the same time each day (which is what I’m struggling with, especially over the weekends!)

@bringmearainbow delighted for you!! 🥰

Angelselevenx · 10/04/2023 11:09

@bringmearainbow I'm so happy for you, congratulations 🌈🤍

bringmearainbow · 10/04/2023 11:07

Thanks ladies ❤️ I've done a digital so it's actually official. I'm in a bit of a daze as I lost the last 2 but I'll ring the EPU and they will get me in for blood tests let's hope this one sticks around 🤞🏼

@HannahLouD I agree those tests will only go so dark. Personally I would try and hold on until 7 weeks for a scan you're much more likely to see the heartbeat than at 6 weeks which can be hit and miss and would cause you more worry that might not be necessary

@Daniki ahhh it's so hard when all your doing is waiting. I'm glad your cycle has gone back to normal now though that's good news. I even did one yesterday afternoon and there was nothing

@lottieb92 I was a mess yesterday felt so deflated and emotional a good cry def helps. That's good you have plenty to keep you busy that's the hardest bit I think sometimes finding stuff to distract you with whilst you wait

@HannahLouD completely understand, have been there also and it's absolutely horrible. The anxiety is awful, and frustrating that other people don't understand the anxiety you have after a miscarriage. If I got pregnant again I'd love to be put in a coma and woken up when baby is born 🫣 x

HannahLouD · 10/04/2023 11:05

Sorry for being so insensitive to all those struggling at the moment... x

Daniki · 10/04/2023 11:04

@Mummyme87 the cry was probably cathartic though! I'm also very emotional so I'd say it is AF. On we go and we hope for the best for next month 🙏

I’ve just had a huge big cry 😢 I’m so fed up of all this. 18 bloody months and nothing yet. I know I should be grateful for the two children I have but I so desperately want a 3rd. I suspect this hormonal outburst is because AF will be here this week which makes me so bloody angry. But on we plod

I feel you @Mummyme87 , I really do. Just providing a hand hold. I'm here for you. I hope you get your miracle soon, to add to your beautiful other two. Sending hugs xxx

Thanks girls... I know I shouldn't be testing anymore, and I know I shouldn't be testing for line progression, but that's how I knew last time that things were going wrong (lines stalled for days and then eventually faded) so I feel like if I see that pattern again, at least I can prepare myself. Sounds silly, I know.
That paired with my now lack of symptoms this time, I'm not feeling very confident again. I think I'd rather assume the worst and then just be happy if it did turn out ok.
I think if I make it to the weekend, I'll think about an early scan... Just scared to spend £80 for it to be inconclusive, or worse, to be told bad news. Seems a crazy thing to put yourself through. Plus I know a heartbeat so early doesn't really mean all that much anyway...
Ugh. Wish I could stop worrying. This is torture 😩x

@bringmearainbow that’s so kind of you thank you, I had a little cry, but had Pilates this morning, a dog walk now and my nephews 2nd birthday later. Keeping distracted enough.

Hope you’re loving the bubble!! Xxxxx

Seasidegirll · 10/04/2023 10:23

@bringmearainbow eeeekk, there is definitely a line there!! How exciting 🥰
